    I had quite a bit of bleeding last night and assumed I knew what it was. The ultrasound this morning confirmed that I'm miscarrying.
    I wish you all the best though the rest of your pregnancies.

    I just wanted to say happy Friday ladies!!

    I bought a sonoline B doppler ( bc my first ultrasound isn't until July 29 and couldnt wait that long to hear or see the baby)...took us 2 hrs but I finally found the heartbeat it was sooo cool!! I then tried it later but couldnt find it...baby moving around too much. Def worth the money just thought i would share

    @keppa: So sorry for your loss You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

    @Mtex14: Yes, happy Friday indeed! That's so cool that you were able to hear the heartbeat! How many weeks will you at at your first ultrasound? That seems like a long time to wait!

  14. mtex14

    cherry / 111 posts

    @Kbee: I know!! I will be around 12-13 weeks. I actually wrote to my dr to see if I could come in and hear the heartbeat...thats why I bought my own doppler!

    Happy Friday everyone!

    @mtex14: Thank you for the doppler brand info! I actually didn't even know they were a "thing" until one of the baby app emails asking whether they were safe or not. I think I'll be ordering one tonight.... I realize we live in an amazing time, and that our mothers and grandmothers didn't get nearly as much information as we do during pregnancy, but I still want ALL the info!

    How do other people feel about dopplers? Yay or nay?

    Happy Friday! We had our first ultrasound earlier this week and... it's twins! Still very early (7 wks today) but we are so excited

    Hope everyone has some fun weekend plans ahead!

    @mtex14: wow! Why such a late sonogram? It's good that you got a Doppler though. It must be a relief to hear the heartbeat!

    @AnneBird: if I wasn't going to end up with a ton of sonograms I would buy one for the peace of mind.

    My next sonogram is the NT on the 29th. I'll have a Doppler at my next OB appointment in August. We also have to do the anatomy scan, fetal echocardiogram (DH has a functional heart murmur), and most likely biophysical profiles later on (if I get diagnosed with GD again). Oh, I also had a sonogram to estimate the baby's size with LO 1. I was all sonogram-ed out last time, haha.

    @swedishfish: Definitely! Very excited and hopeful that both our little blobs stick around and keep growing... so far they're right on track, but I do realize it's still super early. We get another u/s later this month - fingers crossed!

    @Mrs. Lion: Thank you!

    @Mrs. Lion: Yes, our first scan - we knew it was a possibility since we transferred two embryos, but I really didn't think they both "stuck" because my hcg levels weren't crazy high or anything, and I haven't been sick at all (and I assumed double babies would mean double morning sickness). So it was a very happy quasi-surprise that they are both still there

    @HeartAbandoned: Thank you!

    @mtex14: my first sono isn't till the NT! (So 12-ish weeks as well.) it's so annoying. It's really hard to just believe everything is okay in there!

    . @abdubbs: oh my god! So exciting! My first pregnancy was a twin pregnancy but by 9 weeks it disappeared. I want twins and am secret hoping this one is. But I have zero pregnancy symptoms so I'm not counting on it

    My ultrasound is scheduled for Wednesday and I'm hoping for good news! The lady on the phone kept telling me she's sorry that I am pregnant so soon. I was like no, I'm really happy about it. Why would you say sorry?

  30. swedishfish

    GOLD / coconut / 8266 posts

    @intotheocean: well, that's rude. I got pregnant accidentally 7 months PP but no one said that to me. I would've given her the evil eye over the phone, haha.

    @mtex14: I really want to buy a doppler but my husband says I will get obsessed and make myself crazy with it… he knows me very well

    @abdubbs: Wow! Congrats on the twins!! So exciting.

    @intotheocean: That's crazy rude. Ugh!! Fingers crossed you'll see two babies on Wednesday

    I'm 10w4d and shopping for maternity pants today. I've outgrown even the elastic trick. Have any of you tried a BellaBand? I've been eyeing one for my work pants, but I'm not convinced it will work.

    @Mrs. Detour: I have the Target brand one from my last pregnancy but it always rolled up for me. When it stayed flat it did work though. I think I'll probably just make the switch to maternity pants when it's time.
