    @matador84 Congrats on little girl!

@Mrs. Champagne Eeee! So exciting! I can't wait to feel movement!

Sooooo I had my anatomy scan today. Baby looks great(to me). Unfortunately the u/s tech wouldn't tell us anything! She said she 'documented' the gender and that my dr would tell me. Ugh! Seriously, woman?! So annoying! So now I have to wait 8 days until I see my dr to #1 make sure baby is growing properly and #2 find out the gender. From watching the whole scan, I guess a healthy girl, but I guess we'll know for sure next Wednesday...

I had my anatomy scan yesterday and it's a boy! I couldn't believe it. There are no little boys in my family, so this should be lots of fun.

Also, they changed my due date! Now I'm a Feb. Mama. It's so strange to arbitrarily be a whole week more pregnant than I was a moment ago. Can I still stalk this thread even though I'm not technically a March mom anymore???

  6. futuremama

    clementine / 854 posts

@math.nerd: congrats on your little boy! I hope they move my due date by an entire week! I would live to be 17 weeks instead of 16. I'm anxious to meet our little one. Of course. Is probably panic a bit too! With my luck, they'd move it the other direction.

@math.nerd: Of course you can still hang out here with us!

    Boys are awesome just saying!!

I have done a terrible job posting here but I have been reading! So exciting to hear about all the people who have had their anatomy scans! My scan is in 2 weeks and I cannot wait to see baby and find out if it is a he or she!

Things have been pretty un-eventful for me. In fact sometimes it can be easy to forgot I'm pregnant, but then I bump my belly and am reminded

I'm almost positive I felt movement over the weekend and Monday. I felt twitches on my left side when I was rocking the 12 month old I babysit. The twitches were on an off for 5ish minutes. It was great! I can't wait for more movement! And DH can't wait to feel baby move.

I've renewed my gym membership to try to workout a bit. I have gained a lot so far (or a lot to me...my doctor hasn't said anything)...so I'm hoping to slow it down a bit. Luckily it has slowed down quite a bit since 12 weeks!

I hope those of you with heartburn start to feel better! Mine hasn't been terrible...usually I have a little after I eat spicy food but that's it!

Hey all! I had my scan on Wednesday...we are team green so no real news, expect that the baby is growing well and all the organs are AOK! Such great news. We got some pretty amazing 3D shots of his/her face as well, which is so cool!
In other news my belly is definitely growing. I can't eat meals as big anymore, I get full really quickly so I know my stomach is getting pushed out of the way! I've been sleeping better the last few nights because my husband and I got our new KING SIZED bed!! Its so nice having more room - we've been sleeping in a double for the past 8 months so its nice to not think about him when i am rolling from side to side!
Besides that its steady as she goes! Are there other team greeners up in here?

  11. Mrsjets

    pear / 1699 posts

@hazeleyes: I know, right?! I'm trying to be patient and think about other things.

@math.nerd: Congrats, a boy! How exciting! I was due June 1st with my last but had him May 19 and still catch up with the Junebug Mommas, those few days don't make and difference and even if they did everyone is so supportive...so you better stick around!

@debbie18: it's so hard to keep up with a thread this big, I always feel like I'm a few days (or weeks!) behind! Yay for movement! And I feel liked I've also gained pretty fast, I hope to taper off a bit now.

@scarlettbegonia: yay for a healthy baby, that is the most important thing! That said I could never been team green until the end - kudos to you

Who is next for their anatomy scan?? I want to find out some more genders! Mine is the 25th...

  13. Dandelion

    watermelon / 14206 posts

@Bao: mine isn't until Nov 15. I'm so tempted to give in and ask dh if we can go to a boutique since I'm far enough to find out that way lol

  14. HazelEyes

    clementine / 811 posts

@math.nerd: Congrats!! And absolutely be on this thread! I am in the March and April groups bc it could happen in either month.

@ScarletBegonia: We're Team Green!! Its starting to be really hard now that the anatomy scan is so close and my friends who are due near me are finding out, but we're going to do our best to stay TG

  15. Bao

    GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts

@Dandelion: That would be a fun experience! Are they pretty pricey?

  16. Dandelion

    watermelon / 14206 posts

@Bao: we did it with s and did the mega package with dvd and cd and all that and it was $150. I'm really thankful we did that.

But for just a gender determination its only $35.

  17. Bao

    GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts

@Dandelion: oh wow that's not bad!

  18. anonysquire

    cantaloupe / 6923 posts

@Bao: my scan is the 28 but were team green

I'm officially ready to show. I know I am jinxing myself. Someways I have a tiny bump (or chubs, I can't tell) but the past few days my stomach has been like super flat. It's so weird and I'm freaking out that the baby isn't growing. Ugh! I just want a kick or a huge belly or something!

  19. MrsRcCar

    grapefruit / 4712 posts

@Bao: My next scan is Oct 28! I am so excited!!
@Dandelion: The elective ultrasounds are so much fun! We just did one earlier this month! Completely worth it! Mine was $195 plus I paid $18 more for a heartbeat stuffed animal that I can squeeze when I am nervous.

I have a very small bump, but people aside from DH and I say that they wouldn't have any idea that I am pregnant. I am hoping for a bump soon. I do get the comfort of getting kicks tho.

  20. lemondrop

    bananas / 9118 posts

@Dandelion: DO IT!! I'll happily be an enabler on this one! Even though we had an idea that it's a boy from our nt scan, we still did a 16 week elective for fun. This one was $75 for gender. We'll do a bigger one around 30ish weeks since we got great photos of Cam at that age.

My co-worker said I popped this week Nice feeling not to just have the food baby anymore! She then asked what week I was, and I had to look it up on my phone app since I couldn't remember. My husband asked at dinner how far we are, he couldn't remember either. Poor baby #2, neglected already. I go between being excited and terrified of having another, this pregnancy is going so fast, March will be here in no time, not sure if I'm ready, but so excited to meet him... I'm so confused!

I have the anatomy scan on Tuesday, so it will be nice to see him again. He's been kicking up a storm, I love having a posterior placenta soooo much after having an anterior last time. I'm still having morning sickness, but it should go away in the next couple weeks if it follows the same pattern as last time.

@Bao: My scan is next Thursday! A week today. Can't wait!!

  22. Dandelion

    watermelon / 14206 posts

@lemondrop: It's hard to justify, even $35, since my insurance completely covers all ultrasounds in the doctor's office, lol.

I've popped, but you can only tell when I'm standing and wearing certain maternity clothes. Some of them are good at disguising, but other clothes might as well have an arrow to my midsection, lol

  23. fussygal

    pomegranate / 3580 posts

@ScarletBegonia: Ooh, team green - I admire your will power I couldn't do it lol. Glad to hear baby is looking good!

@math.nerd: Yay, boy! Congrats. You better stick around!

@Bao: Mine isn't until Nov. 8th - feels so far away.

@anonysquire: My belly did the "flat" one day, bump the next a few weeks back and it freaked me out, too. Then the past few weeks it's popped and there's no denying it! I'm sure yours will do the same soon

  24. BabyBoecksMom

    GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts

    @math.nerd: Congrats on the boy!

@Dandelion: That's a great deal for the anatomy ultrasound. I would totally do it.

@lemondrop: I'm 2-3 weeks behind you, but I popped this weekend, too. I had been having awful pressure/pain all weekend, and then it went away and left me with a bump. Definitely earlier than last time! Oh, and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one freaking out a little bit still.

@anonysquire: I hated that stage the first time around. But it will happen. You should start feeling the kicks in the next couple of weeks.

I think I'm dying. I started 10 hour nail school days on Tuesday. So I've only done it 3 days.... But everyday I come home and fall right asleep and keep waking up and not getting good sleep then waking up and going back to school. I'm so exhausted. So I'm stuffing my freaking 4th day. I'm pathetic! But I did catch a cold and don't want my nose running on clients. Only 6 more weeks

@anonysquire: @Dandelion: Yes, this! Most days I work for a couple hours in the evening, but Wednesdays I teach all day, when I get home I have energy to eat and go to bed, that's it. Thursdays we do NOTHING- it is my recovery day, I almost always feel crappy. So we may make it to the grocery store, and not much else.

    @Dandelion: good to know lol!

@lemondrop: Oh man the grocery store is such a chore! I keep pushing it off until we have like zero groceries.
