@anonysquire: realistically, my blabber mouth will never stay shut. Luckily, we don't even have any contenders to blab about right now.

@anonysquire: hope you feel better soon.
I have finally been able to eat more food! I also have been able to back my Zofran finally. I am hoping to get that 2nd trimester energy boost soon. N and I seem to have the same sleep schedule now. Poor Dh doesn't really know what to do with me. I am going to talk to the doctor about my chronic low blood pressure and see if we can figure something out. I am waking completely exhausted every morning. I feel like I havent slept in ages.

@MrsRcCar: Thanks!
I just got back from my appointment today. I am 15 weeks today and was so scared they would not find a heartbeat. Yes I realize I am scared for every appointment. Oh well. Well they did and it was 150! Now I want to look up that old wives tale about the heartbeat to determine the gender. Also the midwife asked if I eat a lot of veggies or am vegetarian, because my urine is very alkaline. Well it looks like I have somehow tricked my body into thinking sugar is a vegetable!
How is everyone doing today?

@anonysquire: I fail at these giant threads because I can't keep up with everyone, but I promise you didn't kill it! lol!

@anonysquire: lol, nope- I've just been out of town all week, so I haven't had much time to HB We'll get more and more posts as everyone progresses and starts feeling things.
I'm up and down- more good days than crummy days lately, thank goodness! We went to a football game this weekend and got a ton of kicks when the crowd cheered
And it's completely normal to be a wreck before you hear the heartbeat each time, I swear my heart stops every time until I hear it!
clementine / 854 posts
@anonysquire: my blood pressure is always high at the dr because I'm so paranoid there won't be a heartbeat. I have an appt today. Can't wait to hear it again!
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
@prettylizy: @lemondrop: Ok good. I have a crappy work schedule where I work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and have Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off. So I'm boarding it up in the middle of the week instead of the weekend. Ugh!
@lemondrop: I can't wait to feel kicks! And seriously my midwives must think I'm completely insane. When they finally do see the baby or find a heartbeat I'm always like, "oh something is in there" or "oh I guess the baby is still alive". I'm just a big old negative nancy.
@futuremama: Surprisingly my blood pressure is low there. I feel so calm in the environment but stressed about the baby if that makes sense? How did the appointment go?
clementine / 854 posts
@anonysquire: the appt went great. My bp was back down to 108/70, and baby's heartbeat was around 150. The dr kept losing the heartbeat b/c the baby was moving around so much. We also scheduled our anatomy scan for 11/1. In less than a month, we'll know if I've got a little boy or girl growing in there!
pear / 1699 posts
I woke up to so much movement this morning! It lasted 5 mins! I just layed there and enjoyed it My anatomy scan is Oct 15th in the evening (that's weird right) - and I can't wait to find out the sex. Times flying...

@Mrsjets: ohhh exciting!!!
i keep thinking i'm feeling little flutters but they aren't for long and are pretty rare!
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@Mrsjets: I can feel movement too! It doesn't last long though and is only when I'm laying down.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@anonysquire: sorry it's so hard to keep up! My last due date thread had a Facebook private group that was sooooo much easier to keep track of, but I'm trying to stay up to date on here! The HB theory was wrong for A, she was always in the 130s and she's a girl
pear / 1699 posts
@Mrs. Champagne: @futuremama: I hope you feel them soon too - it will make your heart swell! I took until 20-21 weeks with J!
@bao: that's how mine started a few weeks ago. I forgot how much feeling the movements attaches you to the baby. All of a sudden I'm all sappy
@anonysquire: lol at the "oh something is in there" - I totally get that feeling too! J's HB was always in the 160-170s so it was wrong. This baby is about the same.
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
@futuremama: Eeee so exciting!!!
@Mrsjets: I cant wait for movement!
@Bao: Ya this is kind of hard to keep up with, the format I guess. I'll try not to read into the heartbeat thing too much
@Mrsjets: I wish there was a fairly correct old wives tale lol. I know I could just go get an ultrasound but I just want to be team green but kind of know. If that makes sense?
So this week was my last week of working on my current schedule and now I am taking a break until next week where I work 3 days and then I will start my nail school October 15. So excited! But I am feeling pretty crappy lately. Just heartburn non stop and aches and can't sleep. Sorry for complaining. Just want to feel amazing!

Oh hey, if it isn't too much to ask, can someone post an updated duedate or weeks along list? Those are cool!

@Mrs. Champagne: I think mine is a boy, too. I will be shocked if it's a girl. I had the same feeling with DS. With S I didn't have any feeling either way.

@Mrs. Champagne: girl! But dh thinks it's a boy. One of us will be happy lol. No in kidding, either one would be wonderful!

@Mrsjets: Here you go!
I had to make an adjustment to the logic, since it was doing some funky rounding, so let me know if anyone's dates/weeks are wrong. I'm also trying to add the gender (or green) next to the name, so help me keep track of that

I think I feel baby wiggling! It seems when I'm being still the last few days I feel some flutters and kicks. I'm 17 weeks, so makes sense I think!
@MrsRcCar: wooo!
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@Mrs. Champagne: I've been feeling it for a week or two laying very still (16+4) and felt it around 17 weeks with A so I bet that's it, so exciting!!

@MrsRcCar: congrats!!!!
I've been feeling just generally blah the past couple days. Like lazy and tired and aches and pains and everything in between. When does 2nd trimester goodness come??
watermelon / 14206 posts
@anonysquire: It comes for about 3 weeks in the beginning of the 2nd trimester, lol. With S, I was tired and groggy all 9 months. Not so much with this one, thankfully! Have you been able to rest a lot?
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
@Dandelion: luckily yes. I went back to PRN status (as needed or to fil in when people are sick) and with my other job I make m own schedule. Next week I start nail tech school so hopefully I can snap outta it! How are you doing?
watermelon / 14206 posts
@anonysquire: Cool, nail tech school!
I'm doing good. I have my next OB appointment on Friday, but other than that, no pregnancy news. Just normal life over here.
grapefruit / 4712 posts
@anonysquire: Nail Tech school sounds like it would be fun!
Yesterday I was in melt down mode pretty much all day. Poor DH was trying to make things better but I think I really just needed to sleep and cry. I feel much better today. We were told yesterday that the house we put an offer in on got 5 offers all at once and accepted another offer. I was crushed. I adore and love my parents for letting us live with them but we need our own space....
In terms of pregnancy news over here not too much happening aside from finding out that we are being blessed with another little boy.
This weekend we are having another birthday party of N at my IL's house. I am really looking forward to it.
One question for your ladies: How much have you lost or gained at this point?
My weight has been constant for the last two appointments, before that I had lost 11 pounds. I am pretty sure if I don't put some weight on my doctor is going to shoot me....
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
@Dandelion: ya I'm excited! Normal life is good
@MrsRcCar: I've waited years to do it so I'm very excited. I feel like I've gained enough for all the ladies on this board. When I get weighed at the midwives they always say we like healthy moms. Ummm so I'm healthy? Aka chubby!!
watermelon / 14206 posts
@MrsRcCar: I haven't gained anything. With S, I had lost almost 10 pounds by now, but time around I'm just holding still where I started.
pear / 1699 posts
Hey ladies!
So I had to pull over while driving home from work last night to throw up...it was awful. Luckily I had a bag in the truck to contain it and didn't make a mess. I had to stay parked for 15 mins until I felt up to driving again. I had a headache all evening and then pow! I feel fine today
grapefruit / 4712 posts
@Dandelion: I feel better knowing I am not the only one who is just holding steady....
@Mrsjets: I am glad you are feeling better today! Did you have this sickness problem with your first? I know I didn't take medicine for morning sickness last time...
@anonysquire: I think normal people gain weight....DH always reminds me that I am not normal and in fact I lost 30 pounds the first time around. I guess I am just more concerned about it because my doctor keeps harping on it.
watermelon / 14206 posts
@MrsRcCar: I lost 11 pounds with S in the first half of the pregnancy and by the end I only gained enough to be 10 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight. As soon as I delivered I was 20 pounds under my starting weight.
grapefruit / 4712 posts
@Dandelion: My other OB/GYN was supportive of me as long as baby was ok and I was ok. We both ended up just fine. I have since lost 30 more pounds. I am not aiming to lose weight at all but I am extremely mindful of what I put in my body. I try to eat healthy as much as possible and continue to be as active as possible because it is going to be cold soon, and I know I won't be as motivated. I am really not a fan of cold weather. However my DS and dog keep me moving all the time at home. My current doctor constantly takes about me adding "Milk Shakes or Protein Shakes" to my diet. I keep telling her that I don't eat dairy for medical reasons and she just rolls her eyes and snorts saying " Well I guess we will see how this baby turns out...." In case you hadn't guessed she isn't my favorite.
