@bronxvillebump: aww I'm so sorry it's been so rough for you. Growing a human is hard, I never appreciated all the BS that came with pregnancy until I was there too. I hope things get easier for you!

@mrs. champagne: yay! A boy! Congratulations! I was so excited when I found out DS was a boy, I can't wait for him to start hockey

@bao: eek! You're next! It's gotta be a girl, if nothing but to even out the numbers

i'd love to hear what everyone is doing for nursery. we live in a 2/2 so DS will have his own room and DD has a crib in our large master. we'll move them into a shared room after the first year.

i think i'm going to do a little nook area with a rocking chair, changing area, the crib and hang some tissue balls from the ceiling and prints behind the changing pad. nothing really exciting though!

@Bao: oh I hope everything is fine and you just get an extra look at baby. Congrats again

@matador84: we did a square accent wall for J so I'm thinking of a vertical stripe wall of different widths for this baby. We have the bedding (a purple/green/yellow Noah's Arch theme) so it would be in those colors plus a few extra. We'll probably do the same green color on 3 walls for her as we did in J's room. Here's a pic of the square wall:

@matador84: We don't know if baby is a boy or girl yet (36ish hours left, but who's counting? ) but I know what I want to do for the nurseries. I will post more once I know, but for a boy we are going to do a baseball theme (with a loose Mariners connection since that's DH's favorite team) and for a girl we are going to do shades of pink and gray (gray walls for sure).

@Mrsjets: Wow that looks awesome!

I have no idea what I to do in the nursery this time. I don't think I'll have the time to hand-cut all those butterflies like I did last time, but I still want to do something special. We'll probably do gray walls again. I like the way it goes with the white furniture.

@Bao: when is your next appt?

I'm stuck working from home today. DH has the flu and DD has an awful cold. She's so miserable I'm taking care of both of them, but trying not to get sick myself. But DD coughed all over me last night, so I think it's a matter of time.

I love hearing about nursery plans! We're in a rental that we can't/don't want to paint so we'll have white walls and bring in lots of color with the decorations. We want to go with white furniture and we kinda have a crib picked out, just gotta get DH fully on my side. We have a theme all set for a boy (northwest lumberjack) and if it's a girl were not 100% sure what we'll do but I have a few ideas.

Just had my anatomy scan today. The baby had all parts and all organs. Don't worry, I asked several times. It is so weird to think that the ultrasound tech is the only one in the world who knows our babies gender. Ahhhhh it's still killing me.

So far I have gained 6 pounds, the heartrate was 130. I have not felt any kicks yet I don't think. I don't know? And they moved my due date up 3 days.

My next appointment is November 25!

Just got back from my ultrasound a little bit ago. Baby I is a BOY! We are so, so, so excited! He definitely wasn't shy about letting us know he is a he! I yelled out "BOY" before the tech and she said "hang on, let me just confirm it really quick...yup no question that's a boy"

Baby is healthy and looks great. I apparently have an anterior placenta AND a partial placenta previa. I'm not sure my placenta actually covers my cervix, it's just really, really close to it. So we will go in for another scan at 32 weeks to make sure it has moved up enough to deliver vaginally.

@Bao: It was correct for my due date...but the conception date (which I guessed based on my O date) said I would have a girl. So I guess it was right if you go my my LMP/due date. The conception date would probably be a bit of a guess anyways since I can't say exactly when it happened
