    How is everyone feeling today?

I'm beyond exhausted! Sleep has been eluding me for days now & it's definitely catching up to me! I was up 3 times last night (not counting the times P woke up). I just want to sleep! Not just that, but it's making me a crazy shebear from hell! UGH I'm so moody & with my mom having surgery tomorrow (which it's looking like I will NOT be able to go) my emotions are volatile & dangerous! boo!

@Runsyellowlites Thanks for sharing! I totally understand with waiting to tell your father... I am the most nervous to tell him. Even though I am 30 YEARS OLD, my dad thinks I am 16 still and every time I would mention the word baby in the past he would get all red and yell at me "You are wayy to young to think of that, stop being silly". HA!

I am sorry you are not feeling well today. I have been having soo much trouble with sleep now also but I think it is because of anxiety with being pregnant and still trying to process it. I also am TIRED OF FEELING LIKE BARFING 24 hours a day, body is killing me and I think I want to chop off my sore heavy breasts. lol

Bloating is also a huge issue.. my tummy just feels soo uncomfy and big and yet it is SUPER DUPER EARLY!

So much to catch up on from being away for the weekend! Just a quick update here, I started spotting dark brown all yesterday with mild cramps all day, and it continued today as well, this afternoon it turned to red, and so I called my nurse practitioner, I guess there policy is to send me to the emergency room, so here I sit, waiting to go in....hopefully all is well. Called dh to come in cased they do an ultra sound....fingers crossed all is well.

Only DH and I know so far! Not telling until a family vacation around 9 weeks and no one besides family until after the NT.

I don't have many symptoms other than peeling a lot and on and off sore boobs and on and off cramps.

@Mrsk: oh no! Hoping it is nothing. Good luck!!!

We told my parents and my little brother. Also I told my 2 besties. I think I'm going to tell my other siblings in a week and a half on a family trip and my husband can tell his family whenever. I know it's early, but like a lot of ou said... Someone's the support and positive thoughts are worth it!

@runsyellowlites: Tired too. I was up with DS a lot last night and should be taking a nap right now...but I feel too tired to even take naps anymore. Boobs are killing me, I just pumped and got barely 3 oz on a low setting because they hurt so bad. Starting to get moody too!

@Mrsk: sending you sticky baby thoughts! Hope all is ok!!

Just got done with my first appointment, been a nauseous nervous wreck all morning (due to work stuff too). Cam did fantastic at the appointment. I brought a bunch of toys and snacks to keep him busy, they were super cool about him being there. All they did was a pee stick, will get bloodwork and a pap at my next appointment August 5th.

Symptoms are coming and going, so I'm trying to make the most of when I feel good. Been ready to cry at the drop of a hat lately too. Now I just have to wait for Monday for my dating ultrasound! This is going to be a super long week. Fortunately my husband is off that day, so he can help wrangle the boy.

@BronxvilleBump: I got bloated pretty early with P.... so far no bloat here this time. GL telling your dad. My reservations are only b/c a comment he recently made that we weren't in a position to have P... we've since then taken a small personal loan from him so I imagine his feelings are only magnified. boo.

@Mrsk: Hope all is going well!

@matador84: I think my supply has been low too... it's crazy hot here & I'm having alot of trouble drinking enough water. Hopefully I can keep it up for awhile, I usually get colostrum around mth 4.

Hi everyone - I'm still a week out from my first appointment and it's killing me!! Honestly I didn't know days could go by SO SLOWLY! I'm also in a perpetual state of fear that morning sickness will start with a vengeance every day and Dr. Google has not been a friend in that respect. I'm 6w6d (according to LMP) now and so far I've had some light nausea but have been able to eat and function fine - may it pleasepleaseplease continue!! Besides that I've been so tired, going to bed at about 830 every night - i was on vacation til Monday, been back teaching for a few days and its kicking my ass.

Tonight my husband and I are going to a house auction for the house of our dreams, and I will just be so elated if we get it - the only two things on my mind these past 3 weeks have been house and baby - it would be nice to get one secured away today at least!

@mrsk - I really really hope everything is okay for you and that you get to see your little squiggle on an u/s! Good luck!

@Mrsk Good luck! Any updates? Sending good thoughts!

I believe I have started feeling minor ms. I'm not actually throwing up so I'm not sure, but it feels a lot like motion sickness or maybe a slight hangover. It feels mostly in my head area (headache, dizziness). There was one point where I thought I might throw up but it never happened. It's really hot here to day (feels close to 100*F) so I'm not sure if that's part of the issue. Also I have been burping a lot all day long (not normal) which could be from an upset stomach?

@debbiei8: I've been getting overheated feeling REALLY quick these days & it greatly attributes to the bits of nausea I've been having. It's just so hot here in Texas this time of year. blegh!

I think I should add tiredness to my list of symptoms. I just had an hour and a half nap!

@Mrs. Champagne: Nice! I managed about 45 minutes earlier when P was napping!!! I think I just need to accept that I'm going to live tired for a really long time! lol

@Mrsk: I hope everything turns out ok. I'm thinking of you.

My first betas came back today. It was 88.6. I think I'm 11dpo. The nurse who called said that was a good number, so I'm feeling hopeful. I go back on Thurs AM to see how they've risen.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts, I'm STILL here at the hospital...holy crow, I've been here for 5 hours! I had an abdominal U/S and they couldn't see anything, which I expected, as they told me not to eat or drink anything when I got here, so I had an empty bladder. Then they did an internal exam, my cervix is closed! Yah! Which is good, so we are waiting on blood work results, and they are going to schedule a Transvag U/S for later this week. Dh and I are hanging out here, playing on our phones....so good news I think so far, but the dr did throw out the term threatened miscarriage, which after much research seems scarier than what it might actually be....hopefully!

Looks like today will be the day we tell my dad (dun dun dun). He's coming down to see my mom (for her surgery) so I know there's no way I could not not tell him seeing him face to face.

@Mrs. Champagne: Don't worry... You will experience a whole new level of "tired" (one nobody should know) BUT then your mom super powers kick in & you get really good at managing regardless of sleep, sickness, rain, or snow. Tehe

@Mrsk: Hope the trans vag gives good news!!

@runsyellowlites: Thinking about your family today! Hope your dad can be excited for you.

Today has been rough I have been dizzy all day. Every time I stand up my vision gets blurry. My blood pressure is always on the low side of normal. I took it today since I have access to the machine in the office and it said my blood pressure was: 96/59 and that my pulse was 74.

Wishing you the BEST of luck today @Runsyellowlites!! No matter what, once he meets his beautiful grandchild he will fall head over heals in love.

As far as how I am feeling today.... Just AWFUL! Tossing and turning all night (again), crazy baby dreams where I'm about to give birth and my cell phone has no signal and I can't reach my husband, I'm extremely tired and can hardly get around to do anything.... this 95 degree weather does not help! Boo =P

@Mrsk: Have they checked your HCG levels?

  25. Mrsk

    apricot / 287 posts

Well after spending 7.5 hours waiting around the emerg they sent me home last night whiteout getting any results back from the hcg. I had another ultra sound scheduled for this morning, but then got a call from the dr, my hcg levels are at 92, and so comparing that to the link @matador84 posted, it doesn't look good, the dr said, based on those levels and the amount of blood yesterday, I've miscarried or am in the process of it. I'm supposed to go back Friday to get my hcg levels checked again to confirm, but I would have been six weeks today, and I'm very sure of my ovulation date, so it looks like its over. It's been a craptastic day, having a really cold beer or several and just trying to feel calm. I feel so silly for telling my parents this weekend, now I have to call them and tell them....I think I may get DH to do it for me, I just don't feel like talking to them about it right now. Rationally I know these things happen for a reason, but it still seriously sucks.

    @ChattyCathy: Boo them!

I'm exhausted!!! And bloated feeling (pretty sure it was the mcgriddle I had at 5 this morning). We've been up since 4 & have traveled a total of ~250 miles today (still not quite home).

Moms surgery went well though & my dad took the news okay so it's still been a fantastic day! Now just to get some SLEEP!!!
