Congrats everyone!! I can't believe I'm the only one on Team Green in March!!!
Just had our scan this morning and everything looked great! DH
almost wanted to know the sex but we stayed strong. -
@sheskrafty: Yay for a great scan! I would have liked to do Team Green, but DH was not for it at all. IDK if I could have held out...though I do tell DH we should go Team Green if/for #2.

I'm team blue!
Baby boy is healthy and growing on track, but wouldn't face the right way (stayed in fetal position) so I have to have another ultrasound so they can finish the check-up and see the heart!

@Adira: Yikes. My scan in Thursday 11/8 at 1:00- so i will be on to update after that.
Thanks to everyone for the info on how to handle stress.... i am still not doing great- but am trying to take some time to just let myself relax.
Also- thank you to everyone for the kinds words regarding my gram... she did pass away yesterday morning, and we are glad that she isnt in any more pain.

My girl wouldn't let them get a picture and measure the back of her brain. So my next appointment we have to have another ultrasound. But I am not complaining! Esp since that will probably be the last one unless I have an issue come up.

@Adira: @smurfette: Thanks! I didn't realize the next one will probably be the last ultrasound! If that's the case then I hope we get better views! The baby didn't even want to show his face much because his hands were in the way. I tried moving/bouncing/walking/turning, but baby was stubborn!

@penguin917: I had a similar problem - baby fell asleep during the ultrasound with his head low in my pelvis, so the tech couldn't get a good view of his brain. She tried poking his butt to wake him up, tilting me at an angle to see if gravity would help move him, and having me walk around. Nothing worked! But finally, right before she gave up, he moved just enough that she could see the brain!

Been a while since we did this!
~How far along? 21 weeks
~Gender: Girl!!!
~Total weight gain? About 15 lbs, hang head in shame. I am working out and watching what I eat, I just gain weight so easily
~Maternity clothes? All bottoms, can still wear most pre-preg shirts and cardigans, but they are starting to get tight.
Stretch marks? Nope.
~Belly button (innie/outie)? Innie. DH asked me last night when it will pop and does that mean she is done cooking. I said no, not like a turkey timer!
~Sleep? Mix of good and bad nights. I get up min 2 times a night to use the bathroom
~Best moment this week? DH talking to her, always rubbing my belly, telling her he loves her. I think it is has finally kicked in we are having a baby.
~Worst moment this week? Work has been stressful
~Miss anything? Glass of wine and sleeping on my stomach
Cravings? Candy
~Most worried about? Every appointment I worry they won't find a heartbeat.
~Most excited about? Registering tomorrow with a girlfriend, want her Mom advice.
~Movement? My placenta is right in front, so feeling so movement but not super strong kicks yet. Waiting for the day when DH can feel her.
~Nursery progress? We got two cribs from my cousin, and DH said the cherry was is a lot nice then the white one. Afraid that it is going to be hard to match the dresser/changing table to it. They are at my parents house, so we are going to decide next weekend which we want. I really wanted white furniture. Need to start clearing out the room.
~Names picked? First name yes, still working on the middle. Keeping them a secret till she gets here.
~Milestones? Hard to believe we are halfway through already. -

~Miss anything? Soft serve ice cream.
~Cravings? Canadian After Eight hot chocolate mix.
~Most worried about? I just want to get to viability week.
~Most excited about? Viability in three weeks!
~Movement? All the time, very strong. She's a little Hope Solo.
~Nursery progress? Not setting up a nursery in this house, so... none.
~Names picked? We have a list of five. I doubt we'll narrow it down until she's born.

Total weight gain? 13 lbs (out of the 25 I'm allowed... I'm starting to try to keep track of what I eat from now on...)
Maternity clothes? Totally switched to ALL maternity clothes this week! Tank-tops, shirts, sweaters, jeans, slacks, etc.
Stretch marks? None yet, but my mom says they are coming!
Belly button (innie/outie)? Still an Innie - hoping it stays that way!
Sleep? Pretty good! I fall asleep really easily, although I often wake up once or twice to pee.
Best moment this week? Buying a whole new maternity wardrobe!
Worst moment this week? Realizing I haven't been as sensitive this trimester and can't orgasm as easily...
Miss anything? I miss wine! And orgasms...
Cravings? Chocolate!!
Most worried about? Just having a healthy baby... and getting the nursery set up in time... yikes
Most excited about? Going registry shopping this weekend with my parents!!!
Movement? The baby is definitely kicking my bladder - that's cute, but not fun, haha. And sometimes he'll kick my stomach - that's more fun.
Nursery progress? ZERO progress - I haven't even started to clean it out and I'm FREAKING out about it

I started my registry today!!!! Soooo excited now! Plus my mom bought this TOTALLY CUTE sleep sack for the baby while we were out and about. AND we picked up paint samples for the nursery! This is starting to feel real.

@Adira: Glad that you got paint samples. See you are making progress! I did a good portion of mine today too! Well the one at BRU, still need to do BBB. Then I went to Carter's.....girl clothes are too cute! I found some cute stuff on clearance though, including baby's first Easter dress. It is March 31st, so baby girl needs to get here by then!!

Maternity clothes? Often at least one piece a day now, usually a layering tank or tee. Tried wearing my new Gap Always Skinny full panel this weekend but they still kept sliding down. Yet, the elastic hairband trick isn't so comfortable anymore.
Stretch marks? None yet.
Belly button (innie/outie)? Still an Innie - hoping it stays that way!
Sleep? Not good. Backaches, stomach aches, and countless bathroom trips. Plus, I've been waking up EARLY!
Best moment this week? Overall shopping for LO, reading to her, etc.
Worst moment this week? Being cooped up in our mountain cabin while everyone is out skiing. Scared to go out and slip on ice and bear the cold.
Miss anything? Wine.
Cravings? Coffee.
Most worried about? Baby growing because everyone seems to think my bump is small.
Most excited about? Getting the nursery painted asap!
Movement? Definitely a lot of bladder kicks and she loves to kick at night!

@shopaholic: I LOVE the name Kaitlyn! Before we knew the gender, that was one of the names I was trying to convince Hubs to go with, but he's not a fan of the nickname "Kate" which is totally what I'd be calling the kid, so he kept vetoing it. We finally decided that if we were having a girl, we'd name her Kaelyn - close enough for me!
24 Weeks today - VIABILITY!!! Woohooo!!!!
Also, Glucose Test scheduled! Fun! It's on December 7th. Anyone else have theirs scheduled yet? Anyone know if the drink is as bad as people say? I'm nervous!
