@katiew92081: I know right!! I think he is just super nervous. He was really cute when we were eating dinner, all the sudden he was like I am getting so excited for Nuggs (our nickname for her) to get here. I said I thought you weren't ready, he said he isn't but he can't wait to meet her and snuggle with her.
I just know I am going to melt seeing him hold her.

Just in case any one doesn't see my other thread, we are at the hospital. Water broke around 915 to tonight. Having some contractions, about 5 mins apart, just feel like period cramps but really feeling it in my back. Doctor checked maybe an hour ago, 95% effaced and 3 cm. I have a feeling it is going to be a long night. I am the only one in labor on the floor right now. Going to try and get some sleep but I know I won't be able too.

39 weeks today and I officially have a cold/sinus infection. I'm hoping it's one of those pre-labor signs? Wishful thinking, I know. I couldn't sleep at all tonight so I am going to work from home today and hopefully get some rest. Other than that I had virtually no contractions all weekend but 1 small piece of mucus plug fell out yesterday so that was exciting.

My doctor is on call at 8, so I am excited she is going to be delivering. Started potocin to help move things along. Having lots on contractions but I can feel anything. Last check was at 5 and I was at 5. Doctor will do another when she gets here. Not doing many cause they don't want to risk infection since water broke. Hopefully we will meet our girl this morning!!

went to the midwife...had mild contractions the whole time I was there and told her about the mucous plug. She said it's the right kind of contractions, so I'm told to stay home and rest and keep her posted.
DH drove me to my appointment, cause he's paranoid of me driving, lol. It was nice for him to be there, though. He's only been to one other appointment. He heard her tell me to rest, so I have been banned from the grocery store (was planning on doing that, lol) and even he's telling me to stay still, lol.
So, we'll see. I have my mom on standby for ds, and dh is at work, but his phone isn't leaving his side.

100% effaced, between 8-9cm, baby is at +1. I feel SO much we are making progress and shouldn't have to have a csection. I hope next report is with a picture and name of our precious baby!!!!

OK...dh is on his way home, and we're heading to the birth center! Contractions have been 2 minutes apart, getting a little unbearable, and getting some bloody show. If this isn't it, I don't know what is!

Update: was 5 cm when mw checked at 3. Killing time waiting on baby to show. We're a little bored cause there's no Tv lol. It hurts though!

Reagan Claire was born at 234pm. She weighted 8lbs and 4 ozs and 20 1/8 long. I only pushed through 7 contractions and she was here. Much easier then I thought it would be. She scored a 8 and 9 on the Adgar test. We breast feed on one side, she lacted great and then I alsmot passed out. So we are going to try again soon. I am feeling much better nuts tired from not sleeping last night at all. We are so in love. She already loves her Daddy!

Congratulations to everyone on their newest additions and good luck to those who are yet to come!! Sorry I've been missing lately, but we just got internet at our new house. DH has given me permission to share the name of our daughter but won't let me post a picture of her. I told him that's fair, since we don't post pictures of Henry anywhere. So I'm happy to report that Emma Rose and I are doing well and she -still- has red hair.
Yes, red. Not carrot top, just red. I can't believe it. By this time, Henry's hair had faded to a reddish blonde, not this auburn color. She has her daddy's hair and her mother's temper. Boy, she can be vocal when she's so inclined! Henry's still adjusting, not sure what to think of this squalling thing. Especially when she's wrapped in his A+A blankets (which he keeps trying to grab even when she's still inside!). But we're all doing great. Still adjusting, but great. Hopefully I'll get in a routine and get a little more sleep soon!
