Appointment went great! Doctor said everything looks great and gave me an EDD of January 10 based on measurements
We got to see the baby on the ultrasound and hear the heartbeat.
They even gave me a disk with a few pictures, and one is animated so you can see the heartbeat.
Not much to see, but there is a baby! -

Just got done with my appt too. Looks like the nugget is measuring at about 6 weeks. The machine she was using didn't calculate due dates but I'm guessing around the end of Jan would be close. Won't get an actual due date til I see my dr at 10 weeks. But we got to see the heartbeat, it's at 132 - so that's right in the good range. Otherwise everything looked good and I will try to post a pic later from my computer.

@charmed: Yeah! It's amazing how just a few weeks can make a difference in the size--your baby looks huge compared to mine! Glad it was a good appointment, and that's so fun they gave you those images.

Just venting.
Today I bought chicken chow mien but only ate 3 bites! I ended up just drinking more sprite...(so bad!) and half a bag of microwave popcorn. I'm going to give my lunch to DH for his dinner and probably just eat some microwave frozen food or box mac and cheese.
On a side note this is exactly what happened with LO. Does this mean I'll have another boy?

Hi all. Sorry I have been a bit absent around here. Assuming all goes well at my appointment today, I will actually step up and chat without fear (and come out of my weirdo closet with my real user name). So glad to see that so many of us have had great appointments this week - hoping everyone's good luck rubs off on me.

Sorry I've been absent around here too! LO is sick again. We made it through his entire first year without one single cold or flu, and in the past two months he's had a head cold, croup, and now the flu. He is straight up refusing to sleep, too, so that's not helping. And we are supposed to go to a wedding out of town tomorrow, with my mom watching him overnight... no one seems very excited about that plan now.

Hello lovely January mamas!
It's been a very sad day for me but my fertility doctor is very hopeful for the future and I know that this pregnancy just wasn't meant to be.
I wish you all the luck in the world with your pregnancies. I probably won't hide this thread because I'm genuinely excited for all of you and very interested in your pregnancy journeys. Plus, I'm very excited about getting to snuggle @OliviaObivia:'s baby when it arrives
I'll be celebrating with all of you in January, albeit in a different way. We're going to make my due date a family day, where we do something really fun each year.

Totally coming out of the closet as the former MOJ... I still am not saying anything to anyone openly, but if they bust me, oh well. Life is too short. So so so so relieved and happy to be part of this group with a **hopefully** sticky baby this time around.
We saw the little blob's heart beat today at 7w1d - my updated due date is 1/23/15. All looks great and I am so glad. My midwife was awesome and so thoughtful - she got straight to the ultrasound before any of the paperwork/questions since she guessed (very correctly) that I would be anxious. I was trembling on the table afraid to look when she did it, but it was great when she said - there is the heartbeat! World's largest sigh of relief.
Thanks all again for being such a great group. Looking forward to sharing a happy and healthy nine months with everyone!!
