@mtex14: You're about 4 weeks right? I had a lot of cramping and low back pain when I was at that point, along with major breast tenderness (which I still have). My cramping has subsided but I still have occasional low back pains along with the ever wonderful m/s.

@mtex14: at 4 weeks I had on and off cramping and breast tenderness. The symptoms would definitely come and go!
@Mrs.Panda: You are so sweet to keep us all organized! My next appointment is tomorrow. It's a "come on, let's see a heartbeat appt!" same as @ChiCalGoBee:

And maybe we should tag our calendar and appointment updates with a *** or something, so it's easy for Mrs. Panda to spot? That seems to work well in other threads.
So ***my next appointment is tomorrow!

@mtex14: you're very welcome that's what we're all here for, to support and help each other. I am 6w 4d so I'm just a little bit ahead of you, so any questions don't hesitate to ask
Has anyone noticed their boobs growing yet, I've had a lot of tenderness since the beginning but didn't think they would actually grow yet, but my bras are all getting tight, so the other day while at the mall I decided to get measured and I've already gone up a cup size. I was busty to begin with and the fact they've already gotten bigger terrifies me...anyone here that already has a LO, how much did you grow with your first?

@Mrs.Panda: You're awesome. I have a doc appt/ repeat ultrasound on 4/1. Hoping to hear the heartbeat and see a bigger little bean this go around.

@katieleigh_82: I was a 32F before I was ever pregnant. I wore a 32G at the end of my pregnancy, and my nursing bras are a horrific 34H/I. I will say that they've recently settled out closer to an F/G again, and I haven't noticed them get any bigger this pregnancy.
@Mrs.Panda: You're amazing! Thanks for keeping us all in order!

@mrs.panda: First u/s is April 9th, first appointment with OB is May 28th
@katieleigh_82: Mine are still just a little sore. I'll only be 6 weeks tomorrow, but I haven't noticed any major changes. With my daughter they never really grew.. just sort of got puffy? I'm a B cup to start, so I'd welcome a change upwards haha

@rattles: yikes, those are some big girls! Does your back kill you?!?
I was a 38D and they just measured me at a 38DD, anything above D makes me nervous I already have issues with neck/back pain from them I can't imagine them getting bigger. DH on the other hand is thrilled other than the fact they're so sore I won't let him hear me haha!
@Sophs Mama: yay we're having our u/s the same day! I promise, you don't want them to grow, they're overrated lol, but I'll gladly donate to you if you really want them

Oh my goodness there is so much activity on this board. If I miss
1 day I'm behind two pages I love it though!! I had my appt today. Everything looked wonderful! I'm measuring a little ahead now. So my new EDD is 11/7. I couldn't hear a heartbeat because the machine doesn't have audio? She said the ones with audio are more powerful and they don't use them this early on. But we saw major flicker. Heartbeat was 167! I go back again in two weeks, and then they made me an appointment for the nuchal testing with a genetic specialist on 4/25. Has anyone had this done? I mean they didn't say it was mandatory but they also didn't give me a choice. They just scheduled it. Thoughts?
@Mrs.Panda: thank you for doing everything!! ** my new EDD is 11/7 and I have another appointment on 4/11 and genetic testing on 4/25.

@DeannaY1230: I was gone for several days and there was 5 new pages I was so shocked at how much I missed! Yay for a great appt today and for seeing the "flicker"! Bummer that their machine didn't have audio I think that's the thing I'm most looking forward to is actually hearing the heartbeat...now I'm worried about what kind of machines my Dr's office has.

@katieleigh_82: don't be worried. They can still show how fast the heart is beating and you can really see it

Can I please vent for a moment? I am SO OVER spotting. It has been a continuous cycle between pink, sometimes red, brown and back to pink since Sunday night. It has got to stop at some point, right? I mean, at least I know what is causing it, but every time it picks back up again my stomach can't help but drop and it is not helping my nausea (which coincidentally seems to pick up every afternoon, as does my spotting) to see blood. I would really just like to go an hour without having to worry about it, but of course, that is how often I'm having to pee these days. Just so tired of it!

@Sprite: I'm so so sorry you're having to deal with the spotting I can't even imagine how scary/stressful that must be for you. Hoping that it stops very soon and that the morning or afternoon sickness gets better quickly as well. Hugs!!!

@Mrs.Panda: such cute pictures! That's so cool that you can start seeing the head and limb buds, not just a blob!
Does anyone know at what point they stop doing internal ultrasounds and start doing abdominal ones? At what point can you actually hear a heartbeat, not just see it?
apricot / 305 posts
@Sprite: at least the nausea should still be a reassuring sign that your one babe is stuck in there really well?
@DeannaY1230: very cool! How far along were you with this ultrasound?
***My next appt is another ultrasound on April 9. That should be my last RE appt before graduating to my regular OB. Super mixed feelings about that since I LOVE my RE!

@thisisme: I was wondering the same things about internal vs external u/s and also when the heartbeat is audible. Lots of us going in on the 9th!

@thisisme: I heard my baby's heartbeat at 6w1d
@katieleigh_82: I believe they start doing external US when the uterus rises from behind the pubic bone so after the first trimester?

Hi ladies! I've been away for a little bit but I'm loving all these updates! First appointments are coming up so soon for those of you who haven't had them yet!
****My next appointment is 4/15 - the day before I hit the second tri! I can't believe how close that is. Felt like I'd never get there.
@thisisme: I heard the hb at 6w5d. I think it just depends on the equipment your doc uses as to whether you'll see it or hear it.
@Mrs.Panda: Thanks for keeping up with the list!
@Sprite: So sorry about the spotting. I had it for a couple weeks from 6w to 8w and I know I was so over it because every time I went to the bathroom, it was a reminder. Hope it passes very soon.

@Mrs.Panda: thanks for doing this! I am having both an US and appt with the Dr on the 9th. Since my Dr is a high risk OB, he actually has a separate US clinic in his office. So we have an US appt at 1pm and then go to the other side to see the doc at 1:30

@katieleigh_82: I lumped everyone's appointments as US if they had a regular appointment just so we can know if we can expect pictures

@Mrs.Panda: thank you so much for putting the list together!
Every afternoon around 2, I get a general sick feeling to my stomach. It's not nausea and it's certainly difficult to explain, but gosh it makes me feel so off. It's almost like an upset stomach. I cooked breakfast food for dinner and I got a whiff of the bacon as I was cooking it...let's just say I didn't eat any bacon.

@Mrs.Panda: Gah, I'm so so so hoping to hear it tomorrow! I'm not afraid to tell the doc I know people who've heard it way earlier;-).

@mtex14: Mine go back and forth from day-to-day if that helps? I look more bloated some days than others, and level of nausea (even though I don't think I've had proper MS yet) varies from day to day and time of day. I also had an intensely sore back for the first week or two, and that's since dissipated. Hang in there!
