Just had her 6 month visit...whew! Glad that's over. I've been dreading these shots since she's so much more aware. She was a trooper though.

@sorrycharlie: I used the percents from baby connect too! So not sure how accurate they are or if they're based on breastfed baby or not.

Boo, Miss A doesn't have a six month checkup so I have no idea on weight or length!
I can however tell you that A was 8.9lbs at birth (no idea on length) and I would estimate she might be 17 or so pounds?
She wears a mixture of 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes and a couple of 0-3 items that were either ridiculously big or have stretched!
We have four teeth with one about to cut through and another three visible, teething is not fun!
In terms of milestones, Miss A has mastered rolling, sits really well and (wait for it...) commando crawls! Girlfriend can get everywhere she's not supposed to and our house is in major need of baby proofing... We're also starting to get more consistent with offering solids everyday and doing a mixture of BLW and purées.
And here's a pic of Miss A exploring under her cot:

@Kemma: Oh my goodness! Crawling?! I'm so not ready for a mobile baby, but I can tell he wants to move.
@TurtleDoves: What a little cutie! Our little guys are pretty close in weight and length!
We now have 2 teeth! His two on the bottom have broke through
nectarine / 2834 posts
@hilsy85: he is such a string bean!
@mrskc: DD has her 2 bottom teeth too! She bit me for the first time today while nursing. Holy heck did that hurt!
We're just back from our 6 month visit (even though it ended up being a sick visit)
Birth - 6'15", 20 inches
6 months -15'7", 26 inches

@Tidybee: I know! It's so funny because I don't think he's that skinny...? He doesn't look skinny here!
nectarine / 2834 posts
@hilsy85: No he doesn't! He looks great! C has tons of rolls and in my opinion is a little chunker. She looks way more than a pound heavier than L! But somehow she's only in the 35th percentile for weight.
coconut / 8475 posts
@hilsy85: he looks totally normal! Percentiles mean nothing to me.
squash / 13764 posts
@Tidybee: yeah I dunno, I guess it's all in how it's distributed? @TurtleDoves: ha I know I should just Ignore them?
pomegranate / 3917 posts
@hilsy85: C looks like him too, her ribcage is a little wider, yay for stringbeans!! I don't think she's skinny (him, too!) just definitely no baby fat for C in her belly area.
coconut / 8681 posts
Omg these babies are adorable!! How are they growing so fast???
@hilsy85: I never thinks L looks super skinny in pics. I think he's just tall! He looks perfect to me
@Kemma: oh my gosh she's crawling!!! E is working on it but that picture is a reality check lol
@TurtleDoves: Ahhhhh cutie! His face kills me. Every time. Such a sweet boy.
We haven't had a 6 month appt. E was sick at 4 months so he had 4 month shots at 5 months and his next visit is in a week and a half at 7 months.
Birth: 7 pounds, 6 ounces. 20.5 inches.
6 months (not dr stats!!): Around 19ish pounds- he was 18 at 5 months. Over 26 inches.
Milestones: Mastered rolling, sitting unassisted, is working on crawling and sitting up. Doing really well with solids and is starting to try to self feed.

@Running Elley: ahh that hat! so cute
@Beehive: they really do have similar stats! Go J for putting on some pounds!

6 months - 13lbs 14 oz (10th percentile)
My peanut is growing and now that we've started solids I think she'll really start to pack on the pounds! She's a great eater so far

she basically cried the entire time the doctor was examining her, she has terrible stranger anxiety. then she got her shots, which made her cry even harder! she was hyperventilating afterwards because she was crying so hard. poor little pea.

@SleepyMonkey: aw poor baby girl!
@JessicaMcB: wow long and skinny for sure! What a cutie!
nectarine / 2054 posts
@SleepyMonkey: That's so funny! I didn't realize they were so similar. Maybe that's why they like each other so much. But poor L! J hates the doctor too, he does his scared cry where he cries out of nowhere and his eyes get big. It's so sad. I think he doesn't like being on the exam table.
