PS. Remember my stupid friends and some family who I have been ranting about? I had an all-time low moment last night with a cousin of mine on facebook last night. He posted something SO inappropriate on my wall regarding pregnancy/labour, and I've had issues with him in the past on there, and just wanted to rip my hair out, DH was blown away. I de-activated facebook for now, I need to remove myself for everyone's safety, and definitely not looking at texts from the two friends that started it all. We'll see if I come back, but for now, gone. I was literally on fb when the post happened on my wall last night from my cousin, and I was trying to figure out how to lock my fb down as it's such a trial trying to figure out how to lock anything down on there these days, so I was fed up enough with that too.

Went for a huge walk/hike this morning with the dog, then nap, and now going to try to crochet a baby cocoon!

Here is what I finished this weekend, my fave so far.

@Beebug: thanks for that list! I can't believe we have so many graduates and the month is just half over I definitely think you are next! You go to the doctor on Wednesday, right? Adorable hat, also--I'm debating trying to learn to knit to keep myself occupied over the next two weeks.

@TurtleDoves: Woohoo!!! I was at a 10 for awhile before I pushed and I seriously think that helped him move down even more so that delivery was a breeze! Hoping it's the same for you! It won't be long now friend

Here's Elliot at a week old today! He had his second pedi appt and he's doing great. He gained 8 ounces since his appt last Thursday (my milk came in Friday morning lol) and he's just as healthy as can be!

@mrskc: and you pull up from behind to surprise everyone! I can't believe Alexander is here! Congrats congrats congrats, and I hope you're enjoying every second. Can't wait to see pics and hear the story - you must have been in shock! Since you and I were pretty close in due dates, your baby boy has shocked me into reality that this really can happen any day!

my last day in the office was last friday so this is day 2 working from home! it's weird being home all day, but I guess this is a little preview of what's to come, sorta. ha. i've been to the grocery store every day for the last few days - been stockpiling food and cooking a ton!

Just got back from my 39 wk appt...I am now 2.5cm dilated, woo hoo! So some progress is happening at least! Still not effaced, but baby's head is low. She was able to sweep my membranes which was uncomfortable but not terrible. So now we wait!

@Beebug, I know you have your appt tomorrow...anyone else with appts comig up?

Anyone (that's still preggo) going through a new bout of crazy itchy tummy? My stomach and back are SO itchy!!! I am putting cream on and it definitely helps. No stretchmarks yet either....wonder if they'll come yet!

Had lunch with a colleague today, that was great, got waxed, that was not as great, lol....pedicure too, felt good!! Went to Costco, and visited colleagues at work, walked the dog twice, now on to the couch for some laziness until DH is home. Leftovers meal tonight, and off to the rink for a hockey game tonight!

@Beebug: I'm 2 1/2 weeks post and am back to my Pre-pregnancy weight. I gained 40 total and was down 30 by the time we returned home, having baby in NICU probably helped that a little.

@jessiejo17: Holy crap, really?! Good for you!!!! There is light, haha, that makes me so excited that you are already at pre-preg weight!

@Mrs.B: Adorable pics....definitely making me want to have them done!!

40+4, another day here!! I had about an hour and a half of contractions (all at least 60 seconds long) but between 7 and 13 minutes apart. DH and I were SO excited and then they stopped, so now I am definitely disappointed! Appt is today at 2:30. Went for an hour and 10 min walk/hike this morning, now on the couch and baby is moving lots....!

I can't tell if I just lost my mucous plug or if it's just some bleeding from the internal exam I had yesterday....could sweeping the membranes cause the mucous plug to come out?

@CarrieLouWho: I'm 16 days pp and still spotting! Just when I think I'm done it starts up again.

hey all, just got back from the docs -not much progress, still almost 2cm, i was 50% effaced - but he's still up high, but she could still feel his head.

did the membrane sweep - yikes, intense. a little crampy now -- hoping that helps things along, but we'll see!

next week at my appt. i'll be 40 weeks and she said we'd set an induction date for sometime after that, maybe 41 weeks or so - i hope I go into labor before that point!

@hellobeeboston: sounds like a good appt!
@Beebug: yay! the 23rd is SO close! So at least you know if baby doesn't come before then, you'll be meeting her soon I totally understand wanting her to come on her own also--I really want that whole experience of going into labor on my own and I think it'll make the labor process easier too! I think it's really normal to be emotional about the prospect of an induction--it's a pretty big thing to think about! Hope you're feeling good.
