So how is everyone's bump coming along? I'm 28 weeks in this pic (a couple of days ago) and would love to see your bumps! Btw, I've had two people (both of whom are in their early 20's and very far from being prego) tell me that I look huge. What the heck!

@kjpugs: Doctor told me I don't have to fast, I can eat beforehand, just don't have a doughnut for lunch (my appt is at 3:30)

Fortunately and unfortunately, I think I've gained just as much weight in my hips, butt and thighs as in my belly which are conveniently concealed by the black pants

Who else is doing professional maternity photos and/or one of those maternity casts? DH and I saw them hanging on the wall at a house showing we went to. It's not my thing, but seems like it could be a good keepsake.

@Sadieloo: thank you! I just got out of the interview. This would be my dream, and the perks are awesome and very family oriented. It is a position they are creating, so if I was hired I would be building something from the ground up. I don't know if I'll get a callback, but my fingers are crossed.

Ladies, you all look fabulous! Everyone is glowing, and seriously, the only thing people should be telling us is how beautiful/radiant we are. I can't wait until October when we get to meet our sweet babies!

I can't wait to see what the team green people have (boy or girl), and when everyone delivers in relation to our due dates... undoubtedly some will be September or maybe even November... who will be early, who will be late, what will we all name our babies (those who share) etc etc... so many beautiful unknowns! It's such an honor to experience this with you guys!

ALSO... My 3- hour test went well! The old lab tech doesn't work there anymore, and I am so glad. She was a real peach, let me tell you. This guy was super nice, he explained things really well, alternated arms with the sticking so I barely bruised, and just seemed happy to be there. The solution was twice as sweet, and in the third hour I definitely got tired. Afterward, I went to Chick-fil-a, where I double fisted a coke and a large water. The coke wasn't that good, but helped my sugar come back up. I downed that water like it was going out of style.

@kjpugs: I will not be surprised if I go a week late According to LMP, my due date is 10/4, but ovulation puts it closer to 10/12. Ultrasound has it as 10/6, and she's measuring on track for 10/4-10/6. I was a week late, but my husband was early. S who knows? I just want this baby to bake for at least 40 weeks.

@evansjamie: I'm HOPING to go on or after my due date, mostly due to maternity leave including Thanksgiving, and since my mom already scheduled her visit for a week and a half after my due date. I ovulated a few days later than "normal" and baby girl has been 100% measuring on track exactly (literally- every time!) so who knows!

@kjpugs: my lmp put me at 10/28 but the ultrasounds have consistently put me at 10/22 so my OB changed my EDD to 10/22. I was on my third round of fertility meds so I think I may have ovulated early.
ETA: my original due date was perfect for maternity leave so I'd like to make it to 10/28!

How much weight have you guys gained? I'm 26 weeks and have put on 10-11. Everything I read says it should be 15-20 so I'm nervous.

@ladybee: I've put on 1 lb. I asked my doctor and he wasn't concerned. I started out with a little bit more, but nothing crazy. That's still down 3 lbs from my first appointment. Baby girl is measuring ahead and is growing just fine. Apparently I have a very fast metabolism when I'm pregnant, just like my mom.

@ladybee: I think I've put on close to 20 pounds since my 10-week appointment. More like 24 if you go by my BFP weight (adding 4 pounds for the doctor's scale).

@ladybee: As of my appt last night i'm up 20lbs for 28 weeks. I took the biggest jump in the last month about 7lbs in 4 weeks i think its partially due to our vacation and the ice cream stand being a block away.Also while i would love to go on my due date (10/9 is my late grandpop's birthday) I think i might go early. At the antomy scan baby was measuring 10 days ahead (and theres no way my dates are off) both me and my brother were born really close to our due dates, i was born on mine and my hubs was 2 weeks early.
Had my 28 week appt last night. Everything is going swimmingly. BP is normal, baby's HR is 150 Doctor now wants me to start counting kicks every day. I signed up for the breast feeding class and i now go every 2 weeks until week 36.

@EVANSJAMIE: so happy to hear you passed your 3-hour! i'm surprised they didn't put an IV in right away for the first draw and subsequent ones instead of constantly sticking you. envious you celebrated with some chik-fil-a!

@mrs. mochi: I don't know if I passed, I'll find out today. And I did ask about that, they don't leave an IV in, which is kind of terrible. Thank goodness I have good veins!
