    @jaguar: awful, hope he is better soon!!!!!

    @winniebee: Glad all ian looking well, and he is definitely a "boy"

    @MrsRcCar: Beautiful babe!

    First Zika case in my county Travel related but still....

    @MrsRcCar: Yay!

    @FaithFertility: Yeah, plus who knows how many unconfirmed travel related cases are walking around.

    @FaithFertility: Unless you plan to be intimate with that person or that person's partner, I wouldn't worry! There's no evidence that a person can pass it to another person other than through some form of intercourse.

  4. whiskers

    kiwi / 657 posts

    @winniebee: For me the bigger concern is people walking around with it unaware/carelessly and introducing it to our mosquito population.

    @whiskers: I haven't heard anything about mosquitos being able to pick it up from humans... But who knows?!?!

  6. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

    @whiskers: oh you mean....like a human with Zika gets bitten by a mosquito and then the mosquito starts to transmit it?

  7. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

    @winniebee: Hahaha funny! I know that.... DH on the other hand wants to put me in a bubble

  8. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

    @whiskers: Is that possible?! I mean makes sense!

  9. whiskers

    kiwi / 657 posts

    @FaithFertility: @winniebee: @Miss Ariel: http://www.cdc.gov/zika/transmission/

    "Mosquitoes become infected when they feed on a person already infected with the virus. Infected mosquitoes can then spread the virus to other people through bites."

    @jaguar: Yikes! Hope your hubs feels better soon!

    MrsRcCar: Hi, baby!

    I'm feeling less flutters these last two days. When should I worry? I would have thought they would have started to feel more like kicks but not really and suddenly I don't feel much at all. I have my anatomy scan this Friday when I'll be almost 19w so I guess I'll have answers soon enough.

  11. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

    @whiskers: ahhhhh I mean it makes complete sense! So nieve I am!

  12. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

    @Amorini: Don't worry at all baby is so small they can roll to face your back there for kicking into your placenta or nothing that you can feel!
    With DD I woud FLIP around 18-19 weeks when I would go days with out feeling her flutters I went to OB twice for Doppler and NST they assured me all was ok!!

    @whiskers: aha. I didn't fully get that part of if. Yikes.

    Thanks guys, he's feeling a bit sorry for himself but we'll get through. At least he's sick now, instead of when baby is here (all going well) - so we'll see how he goes.

    No advice on the flutters, as I've still got nothing over here but pudge.

    Rough night over here. I can't sleep on my belly anymore, so I kept waking up to pee and change sides. My hands fall asleep if I cross them in any way, and if I lay them out straight to get my blood moving one of the cats would come up to demand petting. Then the stupid birds who nest in my bushes woke me up once I was comfortable and my allergies made me sneeze like 11 times in a row. I was complaining to my husband and he laughed at me. I need to go buy pillows this weekend so I can build my fort. But first, caffeine.

    @jaguar: no flutters here either. But I have a tilted uterus and didn't feel my daughter until 18 weeks. I think it will be a similar timeline this time--maybe the tiniest bit earlier because I'll know what I'm looking for. I'm 14w4d now.

    @avivoca: yes, caffeine! Hope you can get some more rest over the next few nights. I have been waking up to pee a ton....but your night sounds like an #allthethings situation!

    I almost have DD2 weaned. I have to say I'm not looking forward to doing it all over again so soon.

    I'm pretty sure I'm starting to feel this baby - which is super early for me.

  20. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

    @whiskers: Wow, I can't believe you nursed through the first trimester! I weaned right before we got pregnant and even that seems so close to when I'll have to do it all over again!

    I forgot to mention that baby boy did not like being poked with the ultrasound wand yesterday and I felt really big kicks and pushes during my ultrasound! Otherwise I have only felt a few questionable flutters.

  21. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

    @jaguar: hope he feels better soon. I feel like having a sick husband is actually worse than being sick myself!

  22. avivoca

    @winniebee: That is so cool! I still haven't felt big movement but I get a few kicks here and there. This baby is really active in the evenings.

    @whiskers: Good for you! I'm really impressed you made it this long. Because E was only nursing once in the morning when I got pregnant, I dried up pretty fast. Be kind to yourself in these next few months...try to get a little baby-free relaxation in if you can!

    Has anyone started talking names? We are thinking Oliver Jacob for a boy and Eleanora Mary for a girl.

  25. avivoca

    watermelon / 14467 posts

    @MrsRcCar: Ours are decided. Aster Caroline and James Michael.

  26. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

    @MrsRcCar: Not really. My husband vetoes everything always - he likes very traditional names. Names that were previously in contention....Dylan, Owen, Grant, Cameron, Matthew. (Middle name probably James). We already have Tyler John and Ryan Joseph.

  27. MrsRcCar

    grapefruit / 4712 posts

    @winniebee: usually my DH and I are on opposite sides with names but I think we may have struck gold. 🙈
    @avivoca: Great names!

  28. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

    Our little one already has a name, just have to work on a middle name. That is, if she continues to be a girl. I still haven't seen girly bits on a scan yet!!

  29. whiskers

    We talk names, but I won't commit for a long time. I have a short list I analyze every once in a while. It's just a balance between style and popularity to find the name that fits.

    @jaguar: 💗💗
    @whiskers: I can understand that. 😊

    We have a boy name picked out, but no idea what we'd call a girl.

  32. YouGotMe

    No names picked out yet over here. We are really bad at it and picked LO's name at the last minute last time.

    I'm 15 weeks over here and still dying of "morning" sickness. I'm on medication for it but still throwing up every other time I turn around.

    Now that we know it's a boy, hubs and I have created a name shortlist. We had a girl's name picked out, but that's obviously not going to work. I really really want Theodore but hubs isn't sold. So I've also put Samuel and Dashiell on the table. Knowing us, the baby's name will be decided in the next week or so. We're pretty quick once we start negotiations.

    Well, I take it back, we saw VERY obvious girly bits at today's OB visit, squee! So looks like she's a she, for sure!

    @avivoca: awww stinks! Sorry about rough sleep!
    I am with you on the darn birds, we have a loved crazy moving bird that sings his heart out at 3 a.m.

    @whiskers: Well you get a few months off!

    @MrsRcCar: Yeah we have a boy name he will be a Jr. With intials AJ so that would be his nickname!

    If a girl we are about 90% set on Olivia Hope or Olivia Faith
    DD is Giuliana Grace!
    Gahhh I'm dying to know

  36. mfa_lady

    @FaithFertility: My hubs LOVES the name Olivia!

  37. mfa_lady

    pomegranate / 3921 posts

    It's 5:40 over here and we've been up with DD for an hour already. She's been sick (recovering from last week's croup) and so is very stuffed up. When she wakes early she just can't settle herself back down because of teeth coming in and her snotty nose.

    Considering that I went to bed at 11 last night...it's going to be a long day.

  38. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

    @mfa_lady: sorry!!! Yes, DH likes Olivia too, I like Olivia Hope but he is a Scandal fan and days it sounds like Olivia Pope😂

  39. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

    @FaithFertility: I think Olivia is beautiful!

    @mfa_lady: Poor thing! We had Georgia up sick with a cold all last week and nobody slept well, it was awful. Hope she feels better soon.

  40. avivoca

    watermelon / 14467 posts

    @mfa_lady: Oh, I'm so sorry! I was up with H for awhile last night looking for her paci that was right next to her head, and then I stayed up for a long time being angry about the way the republican nomination is going.
