OMG! OMG! OMG! I got a BFP this morning! I did the little cheapy test first and the line was sooooo faint, so I followed up with First Response and the digital ClearBlue and both said PREGNANT! I busted out crying... while we haven't been trying as long as some, the last 15 months have been looong. SOOO excited. Calling the doc in a few to get some bloodwork done. Anyone else? Baby's ETA is 10/3...

Thanks! Still not sure if I believe it though! Had a month of high stress (my mum is terminally ill, and sick in hosp) and I was due to start clomid this cycle... Which I was thinking about putting off because of everything!! So feeling a bit in shock still I think!

@CarrieLouWho: Wooo hoo! That is such great news! If you can't keep it in-make a concrete decision to tell.
@MuzzyBee: Oooohhh! Good luck, sounds promising!

@MuzzyBee: congrats! A line is a line, right? So sorry to hear about your mom though, that's really rough.

@sslm that's what I keep thinking... Will test again later in the week and fingers crossed its a bit darker. My mum has been I'll for a few years but has got suddenly a lot worse in the last few weeks. It will be good to tell her (will wait at least until first ultrasound) as I haven't told her about the clomid cycles or anything!

@MuzzyBee - will be sending baby dust your way so those lines get darker! Also hope that your mom gets better!!!

Soooo... looks like it's me and maybe @MuzzyBee... any more October Babies yet???
I've had a few symptoms - abdomen cramping + I am EXHAUSTED.
I had my bloodwork done on Friday and my HCG was 170, I went back this morning to make sure it's increasing and haven't heard back yet. We actually get to do an ultrasound sometime next week as long as my HCG & Progesterone levels are at the right level.
Have been plotting out how to tell the grandparents, we are going to after we have the first ultrasound. 2 more weeks of sealed lips... sigh! Thank goodness I have HelloBee to share with!!! :o)

Got a darker positive this morning do I guess I'm in! Going to the doctor tomorrow too.
I've been feeling really sick most of the day but less in the afternoon, extremely thirsty and uncomfortable in my stomach - sort of a bit crampy but not very painful.
Will that be a 6 week ultrasound @carrielouwho? I'm really confused about when the ultrasounds happen (I think it's different here anyway)

Yay @ Muzzybee!!! Got my second set of bloodwork back yesterday and my HCG was at 590 and Progesterone was at 39, so doc says it all look great! We go for a U/S on 2/15 and I think I'll be around 6.5-7 weeks. I think we're getting one that early b/c we had just started seeing an RE. I was happy they did the bloodwork though, definitely makes me feel better!
When I called my regular gyn, they didn't schedule anything until 9 weeks. So, I think it depends on who you go see...
@Banana - we are so excited for October! Babycenter says our due date is 10/3 which is our anniversary!!! I know that we probably won't deliver then, but what a coincidence!

I'm waiting on the doctor's phone call now for my blood work, but I got 3 positives this weekend. I'm guessing I will be end of Sept/beginning on October.

Yay!
Fingers crossed for you jessiejo17
Hoping I can get a scan letter from my doctor tomorrow (even if I have to wait a couple weeks for it) but I have been told that it is uncommon to get one before 12 weeks here!

Thanks ladies! Is it normal not to have a doctor's appointment until 8 weeks? I hate not knowing before then, they said my blood looked good, but didn't ask to schedule another one or anything to make sure it was doubling. I'm scared since my sister had a big problem with miscarriages (had 3 before a sticky preganncy) and I would like to keep on top of it.

I'm sort of the same Jessie! I know I'm at high risk of ectopic due to scarring from cysts on my tubes... Maybe if your OB is understanding they could schedule you extra stuff?
Here they don't normally see you till end of first trimester and I can't wait that long!!

The only reason I go tthe bloodwork and will get an early U/S is b/c I was seeing a reproductive endrocrinologist. We just started seeing him in December. I wasn't sure who to call and my regular Gyn would only schedule the U/S at 8 weeks. So, I think it's normal.
@JessieJ, I bet if you called and asked for bloodwork to follow-up they would do it. It's not an expensive test and the piece of mind it would give you is worth it! Can't hurt to ask!

Saw my GP and have a referral for a scan at 6-7 weeks, so have about 2 weeks till I go for that
Also got blood tests done today so will know the results hopefully tomorrow!
Also got a referral to the high risk maternity team as I have a blood clotting issue
Hope the other October girls are doing ok!!
