I'm due July 12th, but I have a feeling that our LO will be coming a little earlier. He's measuring in the 80th percentile for height and weight and I'm a petite momma-to-be. My DH is linebacker size so it's not too surprising our little boy is taking after his daddy.

I heart the Olympics. I can't wait to be able to watch the entire coverage. I actually got our LO a USA onesie to wear.

@mrs. wagon: I didn't get the email from the tags and LOL at my desperate attempts to get the July thread as booming as the May thread! I am so jelly of them

Update: found my first stretch marks about 2 weeks ago and they're getting worse each day. AWESOME. Oh, and I ate McDonald's twice on Mother's Day. Holllllllaaaaaaa

Ooooh, yay, a summer thread! I have accepted that the June thread will never boom like I want it to so I'm glad to have somewhere else to call home.

I'm due June 14th, expecting a girl and so incredibly excited to meet her. I had my first cervical check today. No dilation (I'm 35w + 6 days) but the head is really far down. Doc said the baby's head is so low that it looks like it will be a good L&D experience. I really hope she is right.

@krsmall: I'm planning on buying one of the Gap London onesies that are at Gap right now as LO and I will be watching all the coverage and cheering for team Great Britain all the way.

@HabesBabe: haha - we will get THIS board booming. Just like the May girls.

@banana: have you started getting the, "oh, you're going to be pregnant ALL SUMMER??" comments yet?

@HabesBabe: that's what my husband called it, too! My favorite parts of the class were when I was being massaged. We found my hands really enjoy massaging.

@mrs. wagon: wouldn't that be great!

@HabesBabe: pelvis pain already. Maybe we will all have our bébés in good time and not have to wait ages. We took a condensed childbirth class, so I really feel like there wasn't nearly enough massaging going on. Hrumph.

@mediagirl: Oh right. You're due June 9th right? Ahhh! You must be so excited!! That's right around the corner! Yay!!!! June is a great month. My whole family is born in June (Mom, Dad, Brother). Including my best friend. I love June! Well, my wallet doesn't like June but I love it.

@mediagirl: exactly! People always say 'well at least you won't be pregnnt in the sweltering heat of July & August. Either way, it is already pretty warm and being this heavy just ain't fun.

@mrs.wagon: OMG, now that you mention it, I think THAT'S why I didn't love carrying my baby all the time. He was born in April so by the time it was July/Aug/Sept it was SO HOT that we would be sweating after 15 minutes. I only carried him if we were in a cool place, like the mall or at home if the AC is blasting. But I never really put two and two together until now. I'm excited to be able to carry this baby in Fall/Winter now!

@plantains: This may sound dumb to everyone, but what is soooo bad about being pregnant in August? besides feet and ankle swelling and general uncomfortableness? because I'm feeling all of those things already.

@marley: @banana: I think people just like bringing up the worst for you to think about. It's hotter in August so it must be worse, right? Whatever. When you're in the home stretch, you're miserable no matter what the temperature is outside!

Speaking of which...even with my massive cellulite outbreak, I'm considering pulling out a bathing suit that is slightly too large for me pre-pregnancy and seeing if I can squeeze into it to try out our pool on Memorial Day weekend.

@mediagirl: @banana: go for it! I think I'll pass though...I've been averting my eyes everytime I see myself in the mirror these days. : (

@mediagirl: good luck with your too-large pre-pregnancy swimsuit! i tried on two of my loosest fitting pieces pre-preggo (they don't match, hahaha) and ended up looking like a sausage: http://copygr.am/babermann/190132235515960854/
