@artbee: interesting! do you take it the day before or when you first start feeling the effects? i assume benadryl is ok during pregnancy? i usually get a migraine when the heat/humidity peaks right before the storms arrive. the storms are my release, i love them

I really feel like it's a girl! We should be getting our anatomy scan in about 5-6 weeks, so hopefully baby will cooperate and we will know!2. How far a long are you and what fruit is your LO this week? I am 12 wks 5 days, and according to the app on my phone, Baby D is the size of a lime!

Probably work, but it's still kind of up in the air. A lot depends on how the DH is doing at work!4. Any parenting disagreements between you and your SO? None so far, we work pretty well as a team and have a lot of the same desires when it comes to parenting. So we will have to see once we are actually parenting in practice, instead of theory.

We just have a list of girls names: Harper, Avery, Lydia, Helena (a family name), Lilly, and Vivian, and just one boy name.6. Which pregnant celebrity do you enjoy reading about?

I have a strong feeling it's a boy. This pregnancy is so different from my last, way less migraines and no acne. I think that was all because of LO's girl hormones. Also according to the Shettles method (we didnt' do it on purpose) it would be a boy.

@MrsCastro: I had an NT scan, but it was 11w6d, so too early for gender. The doc said the baby's results were an A++, so i'm very proud of baby's performance on its first exam! are you having one?

c-section... my other two births were both c sections.We waited this long to announce because our first baby had trisomy 18 and is our angel baby and we wanted to wait until our test results. So my last pregnancy with E was very stressful but thankfully she came out healthy. Even knowing this current baby is also fine doesn't completely take the stress away but it helps.

@Pirouette: we've been slowly sharing since about 12 weeks and I'm 14 now. The whole world still does not know, but about half of my close friends do. I'm in no big rush to share the news and am fine with people being informed gradually. But it's also our 2nd, so it feels different this time around.

We bought our stroller and carseat this month to take advantage of the Britax free ride event, and in anticipation of car shopping this month. When we went to test drive the Honda Fit last weekend and pulled out all the baby gear to make sure it fit, the salesman thought we were crazy, since I wasn't due for six months!10. I want a water birth, which my hospital allows, but haven't discussed it with my OB yet. -
I bought our first baby related thing yesterday!! They are pretty gender neutral since we won't have our gender scan for another month (still thinking girl though!!), but when I saw the Pants one, I had to get it. DH HATES wearing pants and will usually strip down to his skivves when he gets home.

How is everyone else doing? I'm 15 weeks 2 days and feeling pretty good despite the acne everywhere (Seriously, I got a zit on my LEG the other day!), the headaches, and the fact that I have terrible poops (every 3 days if I'm lucky, sigh). I love being firmly out of the first trimester! Only 5 weeks to go exactly until our gender scan! We are getting so EXCITED!

@mrsdoily: I'm 13+5 today, and knock on wood I'm feeling pretty good. I'm feeling much hungrier but trying not to overdo it. It's been very humid in Boston so it's making me pretty tired but overall can't complain!

My last pregnancy I had bad acne, I ended up getting a prescription from my ob that helped a lot. This pregnancy I don't have acne, instead its dry skin. So far I'm not loving the second trimester. Still crazy tired, nauseous and migraines are getting worse. Last pregnancy neasua was gone by 10 weeks!

Feeling better. I'm 16 weeks and 3 days. Just getting over the flu. Didn't really have morning sickness at all this pregnancy. Just soooo tired all the time and lots of headaches that seem to last for days. Other than all that, I'm feeling good.
