I'm at at 10 weeks and 3 days, and holy cow- the last 2 weeks have been unbearable in terms of the fatigue. I am really far behind at work because it takes me so long to do everything- I'm falling asleep at my computer and can't concentrate!
I'm hoping it will start to get better soon!

Also, I"m totally embarrassed but I've already gained about 9 pounds! I was small before, and have been eating well & still exercising, but I can't believe its that much weight! Everyone keeps telling me its totally fine, I haven't been binging on doughnuts, and that I will gain weight the way that my body needs- but holy cow! 9 Pounds!

@mountainmama I put on weight really quickly too (about the same as you) and was horrified but am almost 14 weeks now and have been the same for the last 3-4 weeks. So it will stabilise!

@jaguar only one more week to go!

@mountainmama: I think it will level off! Don't worry too much, everyone is right, you'll put on weight as your body needs it

@jaguar: Yay! Just one more week!!!!!

    Thanks everyone!

@mountainmama, I put on 10 pounds in the first 10 weeks. I'm now 14 weeks and haven't put ANY more weight on! A girlfriend of mine went the same way and only put on a total of 33 pounds, so it's ok! Really

@jaguar: 11 weeks!!! Before you know it, 12 will be just around the corner, my dear. I have 3 more days (turn 12 weeks wed!) and I can hardly contain myself!

@sslm: sending lots of healthy thoughts to you, lady! Feel better soon!

@Mrs. Blue: @sylvie_b: Thanks ladies. Every day I hope it's the day my ms will be gone!!! It's not today, sadly

I saw Mrs. Blue's bump pic on the bump thread (sooooo cute!!!). Has anyone else starting showing? I feel like I have a freakishly large "bump" for 13 weeks.

@sslm, meeeee. I'm showing so obvious at 14 weeks, it isn't even funny. Even my MIL and SIL were like, "whoaaa, cute!" because it's way out there.

@sslm: A very cute bump! I'm almost at 14 weeks and my bump is not as defined. I do notice that it appears larger in maternity clothes!

@autumnlove: @blackbird: @serendipity: @Mrs. Blue: Thanks girls!!! I like that I'm showing a little, especially since everyone knows now but I still think it's super early! I hope it doesn't mean I am going to get super huge haha.

So I just got asked if I was sure there is only one baby in there... LOL. Oh boy.

@sslm: I'm just now admitting to everyone that I'm also having an April baby, but I've been stalking this thread for months. Anyway, I was going to tell you that people have been asking me about whether it's only one, and asking "are you sure" when I tell them it's just one. It's fun to be showing but I'm so nervous that I'm going to get HUGE.

    Hi all.
I was supposed to have my NT scan this week and was so anxious to get past that final step. On Sunday while running errands with my sister I started heavily bleeding (immediately bled through my pants). I called the OB and drove to the ER while continuing to bleed heavily. I stayed in the hospital that evening and miscarried naturally. The doctor helped me to pass the baby and decided I didn't need a D&C. The baby measured 8 weeks. I passed out a few times because of blood loss so I spent the night and got two transfusions. We're doing ok, still in a cloud of disbelief.

I want to thank you all for your support during the first trimester journey. I don't mean for this post to sadden the thread, and I hope that most of you are past your first trimester and wont become more anxious because of my post. I'll wish you all a continued happy and healthy nine months.

@savanarunner, I am so sorry for your loss. The ER is a very overwhelming place to miscarry, I'm glad they were able to take care of you, though. Take care of yourself

Some scary news for us. Ultrasound was picture perfect and all looked good - nuchal measurement was 1.4mm & low risk with age (1:3800).

Unfortunately my bloods were concerning and our overall risk went up to 1:169. I'm a mess, but we aren't doing further testing. We will love this baby no matter what.

On the bright side, baby was perfect on the ultrasound. Fast asleep, measuring exactly at 12 weeks, then flipped into a headstand and started flailing. Very cute.

    Grrr. I give up.

Your bloods aren't that bad, actually, Jag! Your results were WAY more positive than mine. Mine were more like...1/24 chance. Depending on which blood results you're looking at, they'll be able to tell you a lot more at week 20...the 'markers' and stuff are either there or aren't, and that helps a lot. Like heart defects, etc. There is a blood test you could do that is more definitive (MaterniT21 test), and isn't invasive.

If it helps to put it into perspective, your risk is now only 0.5%. And every child has a 2-3% risk of mental handicap risk. So your risk is still VERY low! I remember the genetic counselor giving us the 2-3% number and being surprised that is the "every baby has this likelihood" number

@jaguar: I think the fact that your ultrasound was good is really promising! Try not to worry too much. These things seem to be wrong so often!!

I know I am late to the party but I hope you guys don't mind another one to join! I have been on the May 2013 board since I had thought my EDD was May 8 (that is my due date according to my LMP and cycle length). Apparently I have NO clue when I ovulate. We were shocked when we got the BFP and shocked at the dating ultrasound as well!

    EDD: April 28

How far along?: 11 weeks 1 day

How long TTC: we were NTNP...for two months.

First child?: No, second! Our daughter is almost 15 months.

Any feeling about boy/girl: My gut tells me that it is a boy.

First doctor's appointment: Our first appointment was Sept 13 to have blood work done then we went back Sept 25 for a dating ultrasound. On Thursday, we have our normal monthly appointments starting and we get to listen for the heartbeat!

How do you feel?/Symptoms so far: I am feeling much better than a few weeks ago! I cry very easily and I am getting headaches but I don't get nauseous all the time anymore.

Who have you told?: So far, just my BFF and my husband's BFF. We will tell the family next weekend after we hear the heartbeat on Thursday!
