@jaguar: @Pumpkinspice: Hurrah for the second trimester!!!!!
I'm 15+6 and STILL sick. Hope this gets better soon. It's been 10 weeks of nausea and vomitting
On the plus side, I'm definitely showing! Here's me this morning:

@sslm: @jaguar: You guys both look beautiful! What sweet little bumps!
I'm 14 weeks today. My husband and I have both noticed a rounder belly, but when I showed my parents and his parents this weekend they all looked at me like I was a little crazy. I think maybe its just different standards.
I am having such trouble focusing at work: all I want to do is think about baby, work on baby projects, read about baby, etc. Doesn't help that I work at a place where all my clients are pregnant or parenting little babies, so I see them all day long and am constantly reminded!
We are planning to move shortly after the baby comes, so I can't really get started on much of a nursery, which is bumming me out.
I have been working on a quilt made out of some leftover fabric from a wedding project I did. Also started a burp cloth project this weekend.
Oh- and we picked out fabrics for the nursery (when it does happen)!
I got a blueish/gray fabric with white damask, and a fabric with two shades of yellow in small stripes. Also a little green fabric. Going to make a crib skirt, changing pad covers, a lamp shade cover, and maybe a few other little decorations with whatever is left.
Are you guys working on any projects?

@sslm: @jaguar: lovely bumps!
@hergreenapples: yep.. delivering with a midwife. I have a team of three and one of them will be there on the day. The birth centre works on a ballot system here so I was just lucky! I hope you get a midwife.
I don't feel like I have much of a bump... feel pretty chubby this week! haha
Am counting down the days till our gender scan. We booked an elective for next week since I can't wait any longer! When is everyone else having their scan?
hostess / wonderful watermelon / 39513 posts
@jaguar: So cute!!!
@AprilFool: Our scan is on December 10th. We might pay for an elective scan at 16 weeks!
pomegranate / 3398 posts
@AprilFool: We will probably have ours around the second week in December. Seems so far away but this will be my last baby so I don't want to rush any of this so we will wait!

@Pumpkinspice: Ya know, December FEELS so far away - but it's not too far. We're nearly in November! x

@Silva: I'm over work. Gave my notice for 2013, so I'm on the countdown. 8 weeks to go... I stop at Christmas.
@AprilFool: I'm always chubby! But embrace that belly, lady!
@autumnlove: We're being cheeky & having a scan at 16 weeks. I am impatient and can't wait to see Baby Jag again!

So, we *should* get to find out the gender a week from today! They tried Monday, but couldn't make an absolute call one way or the other. I think we're going to buy cribs this weekend on our trip to see my in-laws. I feel like that's our first "big" step in preparation, so I'm excited to have the done. I suppose my real first step should be to clean out our nursery so it can be a nursery, but I'm avoiding that.
@jaguar: @sslm: Ladies, you look fantastic! So cute!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@Mrs. Blue: How exciting! I want to shop shop shop, but we're saving up for Christmas break.
Well, Mr. Jaguar is away for work for nearly 5 weeks (in Germany!) so I'll be on my lonesome - just me, the fur babies & our apple baby. We hit 15 weeks tomorrow!

I hope it's an uneventful 5 weeks while he's gone, Jag! And that he brings you home something cool

@blackbird: Thanks love! He wants to find out the gender first & then he has promised to bring me home lots of cute baby clothes.

Anybody have any "gut" feelings yet on what you're having, boy or girl? I thought for the longest time that I was carrying a girl because it was always a girl in my dreams, but a couple of nights ago, it was a boy in my dream and now I'm thinking boy...
Our anatomy scan isn't until December so it feels like forever to wait to find out!
cantaloupe / 6017 posts
@bpaig: I'm thinking boy, too, for some reason. I have had three dreams, it was a girl in two, but a boy in the most vivid/detailed dream. I've just always pictured myself having a son, which probably has something to do with it.
We're team green, so I have a long way to go until I find out!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
I have felt boy from the beginning. I wanted a girl so badly at first, but really... I'll be quite excited if Baby Jag is a boy!!
hostess / wonderful watermelon / 39513 posts
My gut says boy! But my gut said boy last time and we have a baby girl!
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
I *think* girls, but I'm definitely not absolutely convinced. We get to find out Friday, and this week is going SO slow since all I can think about is Friday arriving! I'll be super excited either way!

gut said girl and we had an elective scan today and it is a........
GIRL!

Alright, April mamas, since we are right in the window where people are just finding out the gender or will be in the next month or so, I thought we could steal this idea from the March mamas. Let me know if I left anyone off or if I don't have the right info for you or when you'll find out about gender.

Had an appointment today and heard the heartbeat at 140! Feeling a little more at ease now
hostess / wonderful watermelon / 39513 posts
I had an appointment yesterday with my OB's Physician's Assistant. She said the measurements for my NT scan were normal and they are just waiting for the bloodwork to come back. She listened to the baby's heart and it was at 161.
My next OB appt will be in 4 weeks!
@sslm: I love hearing the heart beat!
