@jhd: this was me yesterday! I ate and ate and ate! You're right, though...it feels good after so much nausea! Not that mine's gone, but you get the idea

@luckypenny: @T.H.O.U.: @jhd: Thank you for your feedback, ladies! I just keep thinking "10 weeks???" Time has been flying by so I keep thinking about how fast 10 weeks goes by, but that should give me plenty of time, you are right.

So heartburn actually ended up as constipation. I ate cukes and took some colace so hopefully I'll get relief.

The exciting part is that I have an appt tomorrow and I get to hear a doppler!

@megz06: i understand your concern based on your proximity to shopping. i also have to travel quite a ways to get to a place with lots of shopping options! i hope you find something that works!

Ug...it wasn't heartburn, wasn't constipation...it's a horrible stomach bug. I kept alternating from sweating to shivering all night and had to get up about every 2 hours to use the bathroom. I feel better this morning, but weak and thirsty. Glad I'm going to the Dr. today. They can tell me what I can take to feel better.

Quick question: is anyone else getting random/sporadic pressure in their pelvis? I'm talking very low. It feels almost as if I either need to go, or I just had sex while also having AF cramps. Not sharp, more like a dull throbbing, but occasionally more painful that other times. Is this something I need to be worried about?

  22. Dandelion

    watermelon / 14206 posts

@LovelyPlum: is it round ligament pain? Does it happen when you make sudden movements?

  23. Dandelion

I'm at my ob office and theres a big sign that they are running 45-60 minutes behind schedule. Ugh!

    @Dandelion: that's the worst!!

  25. megz06

@LovelyPlum: I do get very low, sporadic pressure, but mind sometimes is kind of twinges of dull pain, especially when I sneeze, cough, or make a sudden movement. My doctor wasn't concerned, but I would ask your own doctor to make sure. Mine told me it will be normal to have some twinges along the way.

@Dandelion: That was what happened at my appointment. Luckily I work there, but I checked in with the nurses at 10, which is when my appointment was, and I didn't get in until 10:40, and the doctor didn't come in until 11. She was busy pulling a band-aid out of some kid's nose, lol. Ah, the wonderful things we get to look forward to.

@LovelyPlum: I get very random and sporadic pains in the pelvic region, very low around my pubic bone area and a little higher. it's like a pulsating / sharp quick stabbing / pinching sensation. sometimes it's dull throbbing. i would describe it as "pain" and it's uncomfortable and always noticeable, but on a pain scale, it registers as a 2-3. it's just discomfort. i think it's RLP and the uterus continuing to stretch. i wouldn't worry unless the severity of the pain continues to worsen, or if the pains move up and begin to feel like intense menstrual cramps.

@SupernovaJ: yeah what you're describing is rlp and its my worst enemy lol. Its technically harmless even though it does hurt. I tell dh that his kid is elbowing me lol

  28. LovelyPlum

    eggplant / 11408 posts

@Dandelion: @megz06: @SupernovaJ: sometimes it's similar to this, so I figured it might be RLP. But it's also extending up to my ribcage. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that I raked leaves for a long time yesterday. I'm going to try to lay down when I get home from school, and see if that helps.

How was everyone's weekend? I'm finally over my stomach bug and feeling much more human again.

I've been feeling a lot more movement this weekend.

Tomorrow morning is the first official meeting with the lawyers concerning our stillborn. Not sure what to expect but we're glad to see some action starting to take place.

@Dandelion: glad you are feeling better! DH & I had a nice lunch date yesterday. Feeling much better, only nauseous in evenings & it was so nice to do something normal!

@Dandelion: I'm glad you're feeling better and good luck at your meeting

I was sick this weekend too had a low fever (99.7) but felt terrible. I think it was just a little cold mixed with allergies. That's why I've been MIA. I even made DH stay home on Friday to take care of me while DD was at grandmas. She's also not sleeping great so I'm exhausted. Feeling much better though.

What can I do for allergy relief?

  37. LovelyPlum

    eggplant / 11408 posts

@Dandelion: it was so-so. Yesterday morning was really nice-I took the dog on a long walk, and this evening, we just chilled. But I've felt awful all day today, and all day yesterday. I'm going to call tomorrow, just to check in, because I've felt pretty weird. Hoping it passes soon!

Good luck tomorrow. I hope that you have a productive meeting and that you can get a clear plan to move forward.

And yay for movement! I think I felt some today, too. So exciting

  38. LovelyPlum

    eggplant / 11408 posts

@jhd: that's so awesome Glad you were able to go out. DH and I had an impromptu date night on Friday, and it was so nice.

@luckypenny: yuck. Sounds like it was rough for a lot of us this weekend. I hope that you are feeling better. I've been taking Zyrtec every day for allergies. Are you taking anything now?

  39. luckypenny

    grapefruit / 4582 posts

@LovelyPlum: haven't taken anything yet. Wasn't sure what is/isn't safe.

  40. LovelyPlum

    eggplant / 11408 posts

@luckypenny: gotcha. I desperately need allergy medicine, lest my head explode and my asthma get out of control, so I've been on it from the beginning. My doctor said it was OK, but I can understand wanting to ask before you take it. In the meantime, what about some nasal spray and a humidifier?

ETA: I thought I had found a chart of which ones were better to take, and which weren't, but I can't seem to find it now...
