@Mrs. Sunshine: Yes! The other day I was in such a sour mood and DH came into the bedroom and I just busted into tears. Like a really ugly cry. Poor DH didn't know what to do or say!

@SunshineMcC: yes, I had the upper stomach / rib area discomfort last week. It was kind of like I was bloated up top? It was not fun. The only thing that really helped me was drinking cold sparkling mineral water.
It only seemed to last for 3 or 4 days though, and now I've moved on to having heart palpitations and pressure in my chest which I am a bit worried about given I have a heart condition. Very glad I am seeing the high-risk OB this afternoon and my cardiologist next week. I am hoping that things are just shifting round... it seems like the discomfort is moving 'upwards' so to speak... fingers crossed that's all it is.

@lulu22: Yes, fingers crossed here for you too. Glad you have an appointment today as well - hopefully that will give you some answers and relief. I'm also wondering (as silly as this is) if my bra is just getting too tight, and digging into my skin near my ribs. Oh, the joys!

@SunshineMcC: oh yes that's a point! maybe try those little bra extenders? for me, the pressure seems to be worse when I'm NOT wearing a bra, because my breasts are so heavy now and it feels like they are 'pulling' at my chest without a bra!

@lulu22: I don't think I'll ever know what that feels like! I'm very very small in the chest, and now that my breasts are a little bigger with the pregnancy, I think they finally fit my bra correctly! This is one pregnancy symptom I'm thoroughly enjoying! LOL. And I hear you about the sparkling water. Maybe not the same thing, but keeping hydrated has been so hard for me. I'm normally great at drinking water all day, but nowadays I can only drink as much as I'm supposed to if it's sparkling or slightly flavored. A little more expensive, but definitely worth it!

@ineebee: yes! for some reason sparkling water is so much easier to drink! Some mornings I can't get out of bed till DH brings me a glass of it... haha.

@meredithNYC: That's a good way to describe diclegis..."softens the edges a bit". That's how it is for me, too. Makes it a little more tolerable!!
Had our scan this morning and baby looks great!! HB was 164 and measuring right on track. We are so relieved and thrilled! My RE said I could graduate to the OB, but said he'll do one more scan next Tuesday, then we'll be done. I'm to schedule my first OB appt. for two weeks from now. Yay!!!!

Our scan went great too! I'm measuring 8 weeks 5 days (i thought I was 7/2), hb was 182. My new due date is 4/23 &my next appointment is the 29th! -

Wow, I've been off the board since last week and looks like I missed a lot! I tried to read it all, but it's too much to reply to everyone.
I am 12w 3d, and as much as I keep wishing that I was turning a corner with the nausea, it is still here. Maybe a little less often? But that makes it almost worse when it comes back. Hoping that I have less than 2 week, as I'm pretty sure it cleared up by 14 weeks last time.
I was peeking at the March bump thread and I don't have anywhere close to a bump yet! I thought you were supposed to pop earlier with #2, but so far, nothing. Anyone else think they are getting a bump? Especially #2 mamas?

@NeekieRose: I am a first time mama but I'm convinced I have a bump at only 11 weeks. I've only gained 1.5 lbs so I'm not sure where its coming from. I'm sure its only bloat! I'm excited to get a "real" bump but right now I actually wish I could hide a little longer!

@HappyBluebird: I am hoping to hide for awhile longer too. I don't want to tell work for at least another month or so. I'm overweight, so even if I do start to get a bump before then, I'm thinking they could just assume I'm gaining weight! Ha

@NeekieRose: I'm kinda hoping people think I'm just gaining weight! Never thought I'd say that! Guess it isn't a far stretch since they probably see me eating more than I was before being pregnant

@NeekieRose: I had the same thought when I peeked at the March bump thread, too! I'm a first time mom, but a majority of those bumps were significant! There must've been a mix of first and second time moms in there, right? At almost 11w, my belly is definitely fuller than it usually is, but nowhere close to a bump, except after dinner! But I call that my food baby.

@NeekieRose: I'm only 9 weeks with #2, but no visible bump yet. Still just look kind of bloated. I am tall, though, and with LO #1 I don't think I started really showing until maybe 18 weeks or so? But of course, by the end I was still gigantic anyway, lol.

@Rockies11: My DH also cleaned out the whole fridge last night WHILE I was trying to cook dinner and I was ready to strangle him. I had to leave the room until the smells cleared. I cannot even imagine doing it myself, you are a rockstar.

The second is me at 8 weeks now....considering vacation & that I haven't been eating as clean as usual I was worried I was just getting fat but I haven't gained any weight yet!@NeekieRose: I love your hair!

I don't have a picture, but I look as pregnant as I did at 9 months with my son (note I never really looked pregnant with my son). I am probably the only one to notice but ugh. I know it is all bloat because I have lost about 5 pounds this pregnancy (I lost weight with my last one as well).

This is my grainy headless huge bump picture - I have looked like this from 6 weeks onwards - I am now 9 weeks. Because we have had so many problems (and because of the nature of my job) I don't want to tell anyone about the pregnancy until after the NT scan, so I have the fun of trying to hide that thing every morning! It is mostly unsuccessful.

@Mrs. Sunshine: It is cute, and I love walking around with it on weekends, but I just look like garbage at work because I am wearing baggy clothes and scarves and blazers, rather than cute bump showing shirts! And I still have to wait 3 more weeks, grrrrrrr.

@Rockies11: We are in the middle of a heat wave. And where I live, there is no a/c (because it doesn't typically get higher than 83 degrees). So my work uniform is black pants, a polo and a sweater. This was fine until today when it was 94 degrees. Ugh I was so hot and it is miserable but I definitely show.

@Rockies11: love the bump! It might sound silly, but I can't wait for that! I can only imagine trying to hide it though. I've been wearing sweaters and coats over my dresses to work - and the President of the company actually said something to me yesterday, asking if I was cold!! Yikes! I plan to tell around 14 weeks or so! Sending you lots of creative bump-disguising ideas!
