Hello! So, I'm here at the hospital. My water did break and when dr checked me he was surprised (as we all were) that I was already 6-7. Honestly, I don't know if I believe him as contractions are not very strong or often, but they'll recheck me in 30 min. I'll be so sad if I'm not that dilated. I think I'll have a baby today, though!

@auggiefrog: epidural scan be such a blessing. I didn't progress past 4cm despite 24+hours of labor until I got an epidural. They placed it, I took a nap and woke up and had my son. There's nothing wrong with getting one and giving your body a chance to rest.

He's here!! It was a weird labor (I started and stayed at 7 cm, with no regular contractions for 12 hours), but a dose of pitocin at the end did the trick! I had him 3 hours after I started the pit, so not bad. Name is still TBD, but here's a picture. He was 8.84 lb, 19 inches, and was born at 6:40pm.
