Man, I forgot how quickly the exhaustion sets in lol either that, or it's because I quit drinking energy drinks in the afternoon....I'm ready for a nap!

@BUNBUN: Welcome! I had a chemical in May, so I’m right there with ya! Congratulations!

Made my first doctors appointment today, 8/30/19! They said that they'll have the entire list of appointments either at that one or the next one, so, that's interesting. I hope they consult me about the time, cause I work about 45-60 minutes away from where the office is. I can't take a half day off for every appointment!

@JennyLayneAZ: @CatchAFallingStar: How are you ladies feeling? I've been super busy the last week (just closed on a house) and have been really lucky on the nausea and exhaustion thing so far. It's freaking me out though, because I had terrible exhaustion and reflux with my last pregnancy! First doc appointment is in 10 days and the wait is excruciating. I'm gaining even more respect for my mom's generation who just had to wait it out for 9 months with little to no data for reassurance along the way.
nectarine / 2690 posts
@BUNBUN: congratulations on your house! I'm feeling mostly normal. And yeah, it's freaking me out a little bit. My boobs are a little sore, I'm peeing more often, and a little more tired than normal... that's it lol.
DH wants to announce this week and and I'm over here internally freaking out that it's too early. But...i also know if something happened, we'd tell everyone anyway, so.... 🤦♀️🤞

Oh, I am having another weird symptom. I'm getting dizzy super easily. Like, I have to be careful how fast I turn the corner walking down the hallway at work because I keep making myself dizzy! It's a bit annoying to say the least.

First doctor appointment: Sep 11
Any symptoms so far? Mild nausea, but not as bad as my last two pregnancies, so I'll take it. Had some SERIOUS bloating yesterday too.
Who have you told? DH and 2 of my best friends.
I've had a TFMR and a CP in the last 6 months so TTC #3 has been pretty stressful. I'm still really nervous and having a hard time feeling the excitement, but I really hope this can be a sticky, healthy baby for me. The funny part is my due date is exactly the same as my DS2 and I had thought I'd avoid TTC in August because of it, but after the losses I couldn't put it on hold. And now here I am, 8 months out and wondering what I'll do if they have the same birthdays or if I'll be in the hospital or what. If I even get that far... Yeesh. Hope y'all don't mind my craziness
nectarine / 2690 posts
@JennyPenny: Welcome
bring on the craziness, we all have a bit of it in us anyway lol that's funny that your EDD is DS2's birthday...my EDD (based on my calculations) is DD1's birthday too lol My mom made the horrible joke that DH and I must only have sex once a year
LOL

@JennyPenny: popping in to say congratulations!! Am rooting for you mama my DD is an April baby and it’s the perfect time to have a newborn (as you already know!)
H & H nine months to all you mamas and mamas to be!

@Autumnmama79: Thanks! I hope you and the rest of the Sep mamas are doing well. Almost there!

@JennyPenny: what made it even worse was that we were on a family call with myself, my sister, mom and DAD lol ugh thanks mom, not funny! 🤦♀️

@JennyLayneAZ: Lol! With my first, we announced to the whole family at Christmas and my mom immediately goes "oh, so you conceived on that vacation you went on?" and my younger brothers looked super uncomfortable! I wish parents could pretend they don't know how babies are made
apricot / 430 posts
@JennyLayneAZ: @JennyPenny: OMG, this baby was conceived on vacation and I'm terrified someone will ask something like "so, did this happen at your parents house or when you were staying with friends at the beach..." OMG, please don't work out when and where i got down and dirty!
Apparently, a cousin of a friend did name her first after the type of tree she was conceived under TMI!
nectarine / 2460 posts
@BUNBUN: Lol, well DH and I were in St. Thomas probably when DS1 was conceived and I did push for the name Thomas. But more because I liked it and was trying to use that as a bargaining chip In retrospect I'm glad I lost cause it'd be super awkward to ever explain that.

@BUNBUN: @JennyPenny: OMG that's too funny ladies! I mean, I'm 36, this is my second pregnancy, but we don't need to talk about the logistics lol

Happy Monday! How's everyone doing?
I'm doing pretty great. I've decided that this first trimester I'm going to focus on eating well and staying fit. I'm hoping that it will take some of the anxiety away from worrying about all the things that can go wrong. My goal is that by the end of the 1st trimester I weigh the same as I did with DS2 (my healthiest pregnancy) which is 3 lbs less than I weigh today. I'm also trying to drink more water and focus on my posture

Good morning, ladies!
Reflux/nausea returned with a vengeance on Saturday and I was SO. FREAKISHLY. HAPPY.
Glad to be back on nexium, just like my last pregnancy! 8 week sono is Thursday.
We had an awesome weekend with my BFF and her dh and dd visiting from out of town. Just dropped them at the airport My DS was fabulous with the one year old, gives me hope for his transition to a sibling!
@JennyPenny: Those sound like awesome goals!
nectarine / 2690 posts
@JennyPenny: @BUNBUN: Good morning ladies! I'm trying to focus on eating healthy as well. What makes it easier for me is that I haven't told anyone outside of family, and I've been on WW all year. So, if I stopped the healthy eating it would be pretty obvious!
I managed to make it through a "girls trip" for work this weekend and no one suspected anything (as to why I wasn't drinking). So, that was good. But, boy, hormones really change things, don't they? Last year I had the same facial that I got done this year, but this year, I broke out in a rash all over my face and neck on Saturday. So, that was pretty shitty. It was still there yesterday and today its still slightly there, but much better.
I've had a few bouts of dizziness and nausea, too. I didn't have morning sickness with DD so, I was hoping to skip it this time as well. The dizziness is random, but the nausea seems to be linked to when I'm hungry.

@CatchAFallingStar: how are you lady? Haven't seen you around in a bit.
nectarine / 2460 posts
@BUNBUN: Ah wow, that sounds like a fantastic weekend I love that you were excited by nausea.
@JennyLayneAZ: My diet has helped me hide my pregnancy too! I was at dinner with my parents and had to say "ooh, I only have 550 calories left according to MyFitnessPal, so no wine for me tonight"
My nausea has also been fairly minimal so far which helps. It shows up in the afternoons though which is weird. I had a pretty rough 1st trimester with the baby we lost so I'm pretty thankful if I don't have to repeat that again.

First ultrasound today at 7 weeks. Heartbeat was fantastic. I wish I could be enjoying these moments more. I’m still in the depths of a mental health crisis. ️

@CatchAFallingStar: I'm glad you had a great appointment, but I'm sorry to hear you're struggling. I know pregnancy is always an added hurdle when it comes to mental health. Take care of yourself.

Ultrasound showed a sack but no baby. Measured <5 weeks when I should be 7. Going back in 2 weeks for another scan. Beta (waaay back when) was increasing as it should, so no repeat labs. I know it could be fine, but I’m not optimistic.
nectarine / 2460 posts
Oh no, I'm so sorry How terrible that you have to wait 2 weeks for another scan. It seems like torture to have to wait for an answer for so long.
nectarine / 2690 posts
@BUNBUN: I'm so sorry. I agree with @JennyPenny: waiting two weeks sounds like torture!
hopefully all is well

First child? 2nd! I have a newly turned 3year old
First doctor appointment: its Saturday and I just found out today, hoping to call this week!
Any symptoms so far? I had a raging stomach bug starting the day before AF was due. I'm still feeling it 4 days later so I guess that's my lower immune system there lol. No cramps this time before AF.
Who have you told? No one!!! Just took the test an hour ago and DH is working for another hour or two!!

@mrschickpea: congratulations and welcome!! That’s so crazy that you’ve had a stomach bug that long. It sounds absolutely awful. Hopefully you’re on the mend soon and it’s not lingering because of bonus pregnancy nausea

@mrschickpea: welcome and congrats!! I hope you start feeling well quickly!

Good morning How was everyone's weekend. Mine was lots of fun, but I took a hiatus from my healthy eating/exercise plan and the scale definitely showed it this morning
Whoops! I've also started breaking out like crazy. I can't decide if this is more or less annoying than nausea right now.
