@LCTBQE: So funny! I have been meeting up with my girlfriends all of the time, too!! I'm even thinking of trying to meet up with my favorite boy cousin and his new cute girlfriend if I can squeeze it in. Because, you know, it will NEVER be the same after the baby comes.

@Silva: OMG! Your baby could be coming today?!?! That's crazy!! I am so excited for you. I hope that everything works out great for you. Keep us updated. I hope you don't get too uncomfortable. Will your husband be able to come home quickly if you need him to?

@pwnstar: You look so very adorable!! Can't believe you have your c-section tomorrow. You still have the cutest body shape. And I love that your belly button popped out! I was sort of hoping that mine would, but apparently I have a super deep innie. Does your belly button pop back in after you have the baby?

@agold: I hope it pops back in! Last time it just flattened out. So I was really surprised that it popped out this time!

@T.H.O.U.: @MrsSCB: @agold: Thanks y'all. 💜 This has been quite a ride, and I'm so glad I was able to share it with all of you.

OMG - has Hellobee always had talking advertisements on this website? They are so f'ing annoying to me. I just noticed them today, although yesterday I heard them and couldn't figure out where they were coming from. Pretty much almost hate this website now.

@pwnstar: No matter what your belly button does, you look absolutely adorable.

@agold: I have an ad blocker on my browser at work. I feel bad but I can't have all that stuff in my face.

  8. agold

    grapefruit / 4045 posts

@T.H.O.U.: Maybe I can figure out how to do that, too. Can you still listen to pandora if you have the ad blocker? I like to have my sound on because I hear when emails come in. But the HB ads are doing something like crashing the website constantly. I always get something that says "shock wave" "reload".

@MrsSCB: I know, I'm really trying to be grateful for an uncomplicated pregnancy, too, but feel the same: done-zo. (and I'm a full week behind you!) the cycle of insomnia, gurgling acid in my throat, nausea and fatigue are all feeding into one another, plus baby boy has started kicking the shit out of my ribs, which were already splitting apart--gahhhh. at least we're healthy and not fielding office comments

@Silva: exciting!!!! that's great that you're having steady contractions. keep us posted, all my fingers are crossed for an easy delivery (if it's happening now, that is!) dying to know if it's a or

@pwnstar: you look amazing I've also been wearing my husband's calvins, but he told me I only get three dedicated pairs because I'm stretching out the waistbands. I wrote our fetus nickname on them in sharpie

@agold: I know, I have plans to see a different friend EVERY day for the next week. and everyone keeps saying "so the next time I see you you'll have had the baby!" whaaaaaa? and my belly button popped out, too, around week 33 or so--not crazy about it but I suppose we have bigger fish to fry. also haven't noticed the talking ads? I'm on a Mac, not sure if that's why.

@LCTBQE: My friends keep saying that same thing to me! Its so crazy to hear.

@OldpuebloJenn: You look great! Are you working out today? I was told not to exercise because of my low fluid. I was thinking about taking a spin class on the evening of the 18th since I will be on maternity leave then and will feel better if I happen to do anything to trigger labor!

Speaking of labor... nothing going on on my front! I had my 38 week ob check. Still zero dilated and nothing effaced. Phew! I just need one more week for work, and then maybe a a couple of days to relax. Then I'm cool if baby girl comes.

You all are so gorgeous with your almost fully baked babes. Thought I'd share this crazy comparison photo. 39w 5d vs. today at 12d post-partum. I'm wearing an ab support belt with the hope that things return to more "normal" than they did last time. Hopefully it helps!

ETA: 4 yo used my iPhone to take the "after" photo. LOL.

@pregnantbee: holy shit, I want to look like that!!! you give me more hope than obama in '08, lady.

@coopsmama: @OldpuebloJenn: yesssss mamas awesome about the workouts, and coopsmama your patience is inspiring.

@agold: sounds like everything is going your way so, it's no fun, but I'm trying not putting too much stock in the old wives tale labor induction techniques OR in the dilation/effacement numbers--everyone's experiences seem to vary so wildly. I just had a friend over for dinner and made plans to see her in a week, but with the caveat "if he still hasn't come" --I'll barely be 39 weeks, but it feels good to dream. did you get your wheels yet?

@pregnantbee: wow, you look amazing!! What kind of belt did you get? I was just looking into them earlier this evening.

  34. pregnantbee

    grapefruit / 4717 posts

@MrsSCB: Thank you. This one is just a boring medical belt by ITA MED. I bought it on Amazon 4 years ago -- not sure that they still sell it or if it's the best option now. I'm totally willing to buy another if it's better than what I have. Let me know what you find.

@avivoca: Which one do you have? Trying to decide if this one is good enough or if I can do better. I'd do anything if it meant I won't have a top pooch like I did after my first.

Another dramatic and difficult posterior labor... Baby had an insanely long cord, like over 3.5 feet, and it was wrapped around his neck twice and arm once. So there were several scary hours. But he was born on his due date! And a boy! Very alert and latched right on.

    More later!
