@pregnantbee: Congratulations!!
@agold: We had such a nice DINK life too! We totally didn't enjoy it for long enough, lol. And we used to live in a much smaller and less expensive townhouse that I bought by myself. We've now doubled our old mortgage, added a child in daycare and soon a 2nd! It's amazing to think of all the money we used have LOL.
But honestly, we must've been really boring before because I don't feel like there's a whole lot that we used to do that we can't. Movies I guess? Oh, and I do miss being able to take weekend trips to our favorite spa and hotel in the White Mountains. We can still take DS (and have) but it's harder to go in the hot tub and get massages with him in tow. But I mean, that's not exactly this huge chunk of my life that's missing.
@Pirouette: I'm really excited to be having a summer/fall baby this time. DS was born in November and we spent so much time inside. I'm so looking forward to having a baby and being on maternity leave at the end of summer/beginning of fall when the weather should be gorgeous around here.

@Pirouette: YES! This is my plan. I was so focused on "breast is best" that I never even though of formula as an option. A ton of my pp anxiety came from dealing with breastfeeding and making sure I had enough for daycare, etc. I'm really hoping to be more relaxed about that this time.

@pwnstar: @ShootingStar: Thank you!
@agold: He is so excited. I think he's been rooting for a girl and is thrilled to have one of each.

@ShootingStar: I agree! As much as I'm cringing because I always said I'd make sure I was never in my third tri all summer long, I do love the timing of an end of summer baby! I'm going to try to wear this baby, which i never got into with my first because she was too small and we never left the house!
@pregnantbee: I know, I was completely blinded by breastfeeding. I'd still like to breastfeed for sure, but I hope to take a much more relaxed approach to it.

@MrsSCB: Thank you! Sorry! Remember, I'm due end of July :), so earlier timeframe for me.

@Pirouette: Let's help each other remember we discussed this. It's so hard to take off the BF blinders!

@pregnantbee: seriously! we'll definitely have to remind each other when we're in the thick of it. because those damn hormones, they are powerful and can cause selective amnesia

@MrsKerch: I did placenta encapsulation and will do it again. Maybe placebo, but I could tell a difference in days I forgot to take them. I always tend to be low in iron, so it helped in that regard too.

@pregnantbee: congratulations! How exciting! You're making me second guess being TG!

@pregnantbee:
Horray!!!
DH and I got into on the phone after E's Doctor appointment. It was a dumb agreement. However I ended breaking down and crying telling that I am terrified of my appointment tomorrow. I am so scared because of this bleed business that there will be no baby tomorrow. He tried to calm me back down but I was ugly cry sobbing at a red light with my kids in the backseat. It's bad. Please keeps us in your thoughts tomorrow and hope that my appointment goes well. I have never had bleeds like this before.

@MrsRcCar: I'm so sorry you are so worried. My husband doesn't outwardly express the same panic and worry over the bleeding that I do. But just breathe. I've been having all sorts of bleeding and each of my ultrasounds have been okay. I'm praying and hoping the same for you tomorrow.

@pregnantbee: Oh my gosh, hooray for a girl!! I have one of each right now and it has been sooo much fun. I'm thrilled for you!
And wow; seems like I am not the only one having trouble sleeping! That's just crazy to me because I didn't realize it was a common first trimester symptom. Sorry we're all in the same boat, minus you my lucky friend @HLK208!

@MrsRcCar: tomorrow cant come soon enough! I'll be thinking of you and anxiously awaiting your happy update. Even without bleeding, the first tri is agony, so I completely understand how you feel. We are here for you!

@MrsRcCar: Oh you poor thing! That is so hard. Bleeding is such an emotional experience. I've had it with both of my kids and I can assure you that I was in the same place and there were lots of tears.
And if I'm being honest, my first ultrasound is Friday when I am supposed to be 10w1d and I am SO afraid that there will be nothing on that screen when they bring it up. I've not had any bleeding or anything out of the ordinary but I'm realizing that is just a fear we mothers get to have. It's rough.

@agold: @Pirouette: @coopsmama: Thank you ladies. I called and talked to my momma. My mum had several miscarriages due to luteal (sp?) phase defect. Her body didn't produce enough progesterone to get into the second trimester. I have had two other pregnancies resulting in my boys. They were complicated but I would much prefer those complications over the bleed. My mum just told me to just go into tomorrow with the attitude that today I am pregnant and everything is ok. I am going to my appointment tomorrow alone with my two boys.

Let's hear some of the weird pregnant dreams lately!
I had a very vivid dream last night that I delivered my little peanut at 33 weeks. It was a BOY and he was the sweetest little thing. Labor was only 30 minutes long and he was delivered in two pushes I didn't have any tearing, he didn't have to be in the NICU so we went home just hours later!! Haha. Oh and the best part was while he was sleeping at home? I worked out
Yeah, right.

@CoffeeMom: Thank you!
@OldpuebloJenn: @MrsKerch: I'm actually thinking about placenta encapsulation this time because I didn't have a good recovery last time. Maybe it was a normal recovery, but I had a hard time with it. Just between physically feeling better and emotionally handling all of the crazy hormones. I wonder if this would help?
@HLK208: Not quite. I didn't sleep well last night. But basically at this point, I'm dying to tell family and work. So much so that I asked if I could move my NT scan a week early. It works out b/c I guess I was scheduled during week 13 and it's ok to do after week 12. SO it's next week! Dying for "The Sweater Chronicles" to end. Dying for my family and local friends to know!
@OldpuebloJenn: Thank you! I actually have no idea how we made it all the way through as TG last time around. It was an amazing delivery surprise. I think it's going to really help us bond to the baby and also help our son understand what's going on now that we found out this time! It really does make it so real. We get to say "her" instead of its or "the baby's", etc.
@MrsRcCar: I am so sorry you are dealing with this. You are definitely in my thoughts, and I will be looking for your update tomorrow. When is the appointment? xoxo
@coopsmama: Thank you. We're so excited. I really, truly, thought it was going to be another boy, and I would have been thrilled. This is another whole ballgame. Who is older? Any differences (besides anatomical) that you'd like to share? I love their hair! As for your first appt, coming up, even though we've been through it before, the first trimester sucks! If you're not worried about losing the baby, you're worried about chromosomal abnormalities or growth/anatomy issues. I'm hoping we can all rest a little easier when we cross over to the 2nd tri.
@HLK208: That sounds like the best L&D EVER. I have tons of dreams about not being able to find a bathroom. Hahaha. Like they're all disgusting or in really awkward places. Then I wake up to pee. HA!

@pregnantbee: it's at 8 or 8:30. Super early for me. Hoping for good news to brighten the rest of my day.

@MrsRcCar: Thinking of you!
9 weeks today!
Is anyone else still feeling nauseated all day? It comes and goes in waves, but it's still all day for me (I had an awful night last night). Sometimes I feel better after I eat, and sometimes it makes it worse. And the headaches. They're better than what they were, but they're also still hanging on too. *augh*

@pirouette thank you for your advice! Sometimes I forget that it's as much my responsibility to ask questions as it is theirs to care for me! I will start a list on my list ap on my phone. Haha.
@oldpueblojenn & @pregnantbee - I'm glad to know I'm not alone in this department. I need to add this to my list of questions for my doc when I go in next.
@mrsrccar - Thinking of you today love!

@pwnstar: yes to nausea and headaches I didn't have morning sickness with my first, and I honestly thought this pregnancy would be the same! I feel like i was misled!!! I'm not even 7 weeks so i'm worried how much worse it could get. Yesterday was a really bad day for me as well. and I do NOT cope well with nausea. I've had to take some tylenol for the headaches too because I literally can't lift my head sometimes.

Wish I had better news but the baby stopped growing at 7 weeks and we found no heartbeat today. I am crushed but it felt like I knew too.
