@dcw6411: Me! I seem to forget throughout the day and then feel parched when I get home.
apricot / 382 posts
@MrsSCB: I'll try some of that today. Thanks! I just added a little trader joes lemonade to my cup and I was able to get it all down but I'd like to avoid juice.
@agold: Me too. Pregnancy is so odd sometimes!
apricot / 382 posts
@pregnantbee: right?!? And then who wants to chug before bed? You spend all your time peeing at night!
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@dcw6411: Exactly!! Oh and we have a Soda Stream at our house. It's so much fun drinking that with a squeeze of lemon and lime. Maybe the fizz would help?

@MrsSCB: Lacroix are great! They are expensive thought but I like the raspberry 2 liter of the publix brand too.

guys this thread is on fire and I can barely keep up!
@T.H.O.U.: every time someone mentions Publix I want to cry because I miss it so much. once I had a dream about their fried chicken.
@agold: still over the moon for you who is next to find out? is it your elective u/s, @MrsSCB?
@pregnantbee: he sounds like a tough little dude, at least pain-tollerance-wise when I was a child I had stitches on my chin SIX separate times over the course of maybe 8 years (wet concrete, playground accidents, bikes, you name it) and every time my dad got me ice cream or a milkshake afterwards, I was like, that was totally worth it. I could see how stickers would do the job, too
I hope you don't feel terrible about the whole thing anymore. and where is the dog in all this?! and did you figure out who gifted you Gold?
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@LCTBQE: LOL. I've had stitches at least 2 separate times on 2 separate areas. Now I know how my parents must have felt when that happened! I also totally blame the dog. But I still feel like it's ultimately my fault for trusting him to be independent with the dog in the first place. Lesson learned, right? This morning he said, "mommy, I don't want to hold the dog next time." DUH. Of course I agree.

@mrschickpea: OMG OMG you felt kicking!! that is so incredible... ooooh guys I can't wait. you will have to tell me if you find any tall-people mat leggings. All the stuff I've been looking at has like 26" inseams? and I have the belly-button pooch, too--I was wearing control top tights in that picture
@Pirouette: this is awesome; your MIL needs her own sitcom. and wtf about that company--it's like, they had one job and it ostensibly wasn't that hard? lolz.
@shootingstar: agreed about the jump to last-read feature... I assume they're just trying to give as much incentive as possible to get people to join Gold, but yeah it seems unfriendly that it's not standard.
nectarine / 2461 posts
@pregnantbee: aw, that is so stinking cute yep, sounds like never again--dog leashes and bikes are like water and electricity.
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@LCTBQE: haha I know, the whole thing was ridiculous. Side note, if anyone wants some it's a girl scratch off cards, I'll send them free of charge! Lol
I ended up buying a onesie and having my daughter bring it to my parents and tell them it's for her baby brother. They were soooooo excited! They thought we weren't finding out till the anatomy scan.
grapefruit / 4717 posts
Oh, forgot to tell you all! Had my OB check-up today, and baby's heartbeat was strong and regular. She's on track with growth, and I'm on track with my own weight gain. Phew! 2-ish weeks until the anatomy scan!
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@Pirouette: Ack! That's so exciting re: how you told your parents! Love it!

@Silva: @pregnantbee: yup. It's sad. I think I have a mild hernia there too from last time. Hopefully it doesn't pop out too
nectarine / 2461 posts
@pregnantbee: @Silva: that's cool! (right? or not right?) here is something that I have always wondered but never asked: does everyone's belly button end up popping out eventually, or do some people's just flatten and never pop? is it wrong to *want* a popped out belly button? and when does it go back in?
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@T.H.O.U.: @Silva: Mine stopped at flat last time, so I'm hoping it will stop there this time, too! LOL.
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@Silva: haha I've never actually had an innie or an outie, so my belly button is always flat!
@pregnantbee: Yay for a great appt and being on track! And thanks, I was a little worried she'd launch into an argument about it being her baby sister, but I think she's starting to get it
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@LCTBQE: Haha. Mine never went past flat. I don't know if people seek out wanting it to pop? I feel like it's kinda like a turkey being done?? LOL.
nectarine / 2461 posts
@Pirouette: that is so, so, so sweet
@pregnantbee: glad everyone is healthy and on track!
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@LCTBQE: thanks! And yet again I think "why didn't I record the moment on video?!"
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
@LCTBQE: Mine already popped this time, but that's because I got an umbilical hernia with my last baby.
kiwi / 506 posts
@pregnantbee: I guess I have a really deep belly button but it was never flat or popped, it was still kind of in.
apricot / 442 posts
@LCTBQE: I don't know if it depends on starting size, but I'm a 12, and last time my belly button just got very very shallow and sorta stretched out. No pop.
clementine / 928 posts
@LCTBQE: It was so neat! It will be so thrilling when you feel them!
I'm on the taller side (5'8) with a long torso so my pants are usually fine, it's the stupid shirts that are too short! I also have a 36-38F breasts I found Gap leggings to be good length wise and even Old Navy has these yoga leggings: I like them because they are thicker and not see through!

@LCTBQE: I have the DEEPEST belly button, so this should be interesting lol! Every doctor who has ever seen it always comments on how deep it is. I'll probably stay an innie! Stay tuned

I feel like the baby must be moving a lot, because I can tell sometimes my (tiny) bump will stick out more on the right and sometimes it's more even. But I can't actually FEEL the baby move yet. So weird!
PS: a week from today we find out the gender!!! Assuming baby cooperates...
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@MrsSCB: Lol. The shapes my son made were hilarious. My belly looked like a trapezoid at times! 1 week!!

@MrsSCB: The best is when you're talking to someone and your LO is putting on a show! Everything from hiccups to flip flops to cannonballs.
@pregnantbee: So glad for a good appointment!
@LCTBQE: I am on the taller side with a long narrow torso. My belly button didn't pop last time. Just sort of flattened out. The weirdest part was what it felt like when you pushed in on it. *shudder*
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@pwnstar: Me, too. Phew. Now not even 2w 'til A/S and another OB appt 2w later.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
Off to the OB and an ultrasound. Praying baby cooperates!
