Who have you told? How did you tell them? How far along were you?
As of now only WB, HB, one good friend, LO (:D) & DH (of course!) know...I am 4 weeks 3 days

Yay, I can't wait for December! Bring on the super-pregnant Thanksgiving!
Right now I've only shared the news with HB, a handful of midwives, and my husband. I'm in week 7 right now.
My birthday falls really close to Mother's Day, so I'm thinking about telling the family then, in week 11!

@chopsuey119: Wow!! That's awesome!!! I am having a REALLY hard time not telling my MIL & my mom!! My mom even called me yesterday & told me that my dad & her knew I was feeling "blah" about my old summer clothes that didn't fit & she wanted to take me shopping the next time she visited!! I had SUCH a hard not saying "maybe to A Pea in the Pod!!!!!!" lol

so far only DH and HB know. If all is well after the 8 week appt then we're going to tell family and probably some close friends (esp the friend whose wedding i'll be in at 30 weeks preggo! eeek) Then tell work and everyone else after the first trimester. still deciding on whether to make a FB announcement or not. today i'm 6 weeks 4 days! almost to the 8 week mark...

I have only shared the news with my hubby, HB, my yoga instructor, and my running group leader. We're going to tell the family on Mother's Day. I'll be 8 weeks then.
I'm a bit worried about sharing the news with DH's sister as she likes to post EVERYTHING on facebook. We're going to nicely ask her to keep the news to herself.

We've told our parents and siblings as well as the side of the family with whom we celebrated Easter, since we wouldn't see them again for months. We asked them to keep it quiet though, and so far so good. I'm 7w3d. If our appointments go well, we'd like to go public around our first anniversary when we'd be 11w2d.

Parents, siblings, grandparents, and a few friends. Hubby told co-workers. 7w4d. Grandparents leaked it a bit to others, and a cousin guessed. Most likely time to hear the heartbeat is 10w5d, which is 4 days before our first anniversary. We'll announce it more widely then.

I got my BFP on April 7 and told my parents, brother and sister-in-law at a family dinner about a week after that. We're going to tell my husband's parents when we see them in person next month. (My folks live nearby; my in-laws do not.)
I think I might tell a close friend tonight - besides just wanting her to know, we're both going to be at a bachelorette weekend at the end of the month and I could use some help with general subterfuge.

congrats to everyone who's due in december! my edd is december 1st
so far we've told both sets of parents and a few close friends. my parents are SOOOO anxious to tell the rest of the family, but i'm making them wait until 12 weeks. can't wait until everything is out in the open - i'm so horrible with secrets! only four more weeks and then it's sharetime.
