@FaithFertility: Sorry about the weird night but it's GREAT that she fell asleep on her own! I'm too impatient to wait 20 min to see if she'd fall alseep lol but maybe I should! B/c in my mind I'd just be afraid that she'd get overtired and cranky!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: Yes I was just like what do I do? She wasn't crying it was late so I just let her be about 20mins later out!!! I'm pretty sure it was a fluke but I'll Def try to wait longer as long as she isn't cryi5

@FaithFertility: To me that's still good news since K has never fell asleep on her own except for in the car (and that is still assisted since the car is moving!)

@snowjewelz: E is in the 10 hr sleep club too.
@FaithFertility: Yay for her putting herself to sleep! Ethan did the same last night, it is so nice! Hopefully she keeps it up and you don't even have to sleep train!
So... Good and bad about daycare... Ethan gives my daycare lady a big smile every day, happy to see her, but I rarely get one when I pick him up. Stinker. Glad it's Friday and I get him all weekend!

@josina: Aww prob by then he's tired! I know, I am always jealous of my mom when she sends me these ultra happy videos... Some days she's still sleeping when I need to go to work, and cranky/hungry when I come back! But yes, yay for weekends and mother's day!!

Baby clothes! What sizes is everyone in? I ordered Ethan some 6-12 month shorts from Old Navy and they're pretty tight, not sure if he can wear them. I've got him in 9 month Carters pants already, 6 mo. Onesies. His chubby belly is to big for 6 mo. Pants!

@snowjewelz: yeah, I think E is Definetly a morning person, at least I get smiles when he wake up in the morning.

@josina: We are all over the place In clothes shirts 6 months jumpers/pants and jammies 9-12 months her legs are long!!!
We just stepped up to size 3 diapers today

We just stepped up to size 3 diapers. Old Navy 6-12 month clothes and Carters 9 months. But sleepers are a problem. For some reason our Carters 9 month sleepers are huge and way bigger than the 6 month ones. We are still stuffing her into the 6 month sleepers.

@MamaG: Have you tried old Navy sleepers 6-9 months? Those work for us for now...lol

@josina: M is wearing 9 month onesies from Carters (can still wear his 6 month ones but they are getting tight with diapers on). Shorts & other outfits need to be 9 months to fit his buddha belly though.

@josina: I think Micah is on the smaller size because we are still in 3 month clothes or 3-6 months and size 2 diapers!

Totally depends on the brand! 6m Carter's (though he can wear their 3m shorts!) and 3-6 gap and old navy/ Janie and Jack. Anthong with a crotch he needs a little longer Bc he has a long torso so I got him mostly 6-12 for summer. He's 13 1/2 lbs and 24.5 inches ish.

Agree that it totally depends on brand and how much stuff shrinks. I have some hand me down 6 mo cotton sleepers from Gerber and they are too short! I wish I took them out earlier for her to wear! Meanwhile the Carter's 6 mo sleepers in the towel fabric all still fit great.
K is 15 lbs 25" and pretty much in 6 mo clothes now but still fit size 2 diapers

@AngelicOne: Sounds like our little guys share a birthday and a belly!
nectarine / 2210 posts
@snowjewelz: the same thing happened to us. I think she only wore the gerber onesies once.
Overall she's pretty much in 3-6 months clothes, although there's a few 0-3 that still got. I've yet to even take out the 6-9 to see what we have.

@winniebee: You deserve a rain check for mother's day with two sick kids. No fair!

We're squeeeeeezing J's thunder thighs into size 2 diapers to finish up the rest of the box, but we've been using size 3s at night. He's in mostly 6 month onsies but I swear he needs 9 month pants. Kid's got a belly on him!

@MrsF: Yes we have been squeezing her legs into 2s to long......lol
We just went to 3s!

@BandDmommy: oh no! Here I was thinking that if I had gone this far without mastitis it wouldn't happen... But I guess I still could. Hope you feel better soon!

I'm not sure what I did to deserve this. Tyler went to sleep at 9. Up at 1130. Ryan up at 2. Tyler up at 330. Ryan up at 5. Tyler up for day at 6. Of course it's 630 and Ryan still sleeping. It's my husbands birthday so I need to do my best not to be a massive bitch.

Ladies: Did you get mother or MIL anything from your LO?
This is all new to me?
honeydew / 7283 posts
@winniebee: I'm so sorry. It's so hard to have any patience with two kids on so little sleep and you certainly don't deserve any of this! Hugs mama
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: I signed my LO's names to the flowers for MIL. My mom didn't want anything (and I believe her!) but we will see her today. I got her a card but only signed my name on that one.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: he will understand! Hope you have an easy day!
Kara broke her record for how long does it take to go to sleep.. 3 hours! Nursed, was sleeping but woke up once she left the boob (that's 50 min on the boobs). I rocked her, left her.. Nothing. Nurses again. Got massive poop instead. Changed and did some quiet play again and nursed again and finally slept at 10...
I really wanted to clean last night so I can have a light day today but guess not!!!

@FaithFertility: my moms pic frame says grandma and me but card is from me. I have nothing for MIL.....!!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@winniebee: aww, sorry!
@FaithFertility: I did get my mom a chat works book of my Instagram photos of E. I might try some kind of footprint/poem craft for mom and MIL today...
@snowjewelz: She must've know that dirty diaper was coming! Or she wanted to stay up late since it was a Friday night!
nectarine / 2210 posts
@FaithFertility: my in-laws are in Alaska on vacation, and my mom died three years ago, so I haven't really had to think about it... But otherwise I'd probably get a card that said grandma on it.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
I just did cards from the kids and flowers for MIL and a gift card for my mom. I've had better years! But stretched thin this year.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: ohhh man hope she sleeps good tonight and gifts you a good stretch
