@BandDmommy: I hope you feel better soon and getting some help with the kids!!
@winniebee: I think it's the wonderful 3s...DD has been waking up a few times at night for the last month, and up at 6am...shoot me now.
Sorry ladies, so hard to keep up! I've been sick or dealing with sick kids for the last month. First I got rotavirus, then DD gets it...then she gets sick with a bad cold passing it on to everyone in our house. A and I are still sick with a bad cough, and he has had a stomach bug for the last week. Gross green mucus-y poops. I've been getting by on 4-5 hours of broken sleep.
I really hope everyone has been doing well on the sleep and health fronts...

@josina: aww, it sounds like he is doing well at daycare. I never got a big grin from my girl when I picked her up from daycare, so I wouldn't feel too bad!

@Freckles: ahhh boo to all the sickness...roto virus?? NO FUN!!!

@FaithFertility: I've decided unless people are going to provide some positive commentary, I'd really rather they just ignored my child and move along. We wouldn't openly critique the eating habits of an adult, so shut it on my kiddo

@FaithFertility: ugh to the comments! She may have just been overwhelmed by all the people. I am not looking forward to the stranger danger phase though...

@Freckles: Yeah, we were at a Bridal shower last week end and she was a ok......so it got me thinking!

@Freckles: That sounds horrible I hope you're all feeling better soon!
@FaithFertility: She was probably just overwhelmed. And I'm with you on the comments. It's so hard to ignore them in the moment though!
My MIL called today and she could hear J fussing in the background and she says "I don't ever remember my boys crying or fussing". Um. Really?!? You had four children and none of them ever cried? And just say that her children were magical and never cried.... How is it supportive or helpful to tell me that while my child is crying? Grrr.

The onslaught continues....Ryan woke up for the DAY at 445. And Tyler soon after. I've got their sore throat now. Is if too early for a mimosa?
Happy Mother's Day to everyone!

Happy Mother's Day, ladies. Hope all the kiddos are great today. And if they can't be great, know that they love you to the ends of the Earth even if their little 5/6 month old selves can't really show it yet. You are all amazing.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!! Hope it's a good one, especially if it is your first.

We have had crummy sleep here lately, but last night H slept 4.5 hrs then 6 hrs. Best sleep EVER, by far! Seriously, by far far far (usually a "long" stretch is 3 hrs. Maybe 4). Probably a fluke, but I'll take it. Happy mother's day to me!! Hahaha.

I hope you all had wonderful Mothers' Days today! You're all amazing moms and I feel so lucky to be sharing this roller coaster called motherhood with this group

@FaithFertility: man, I wish that A would sleep on his belly!
DH took the kids to the playground and what did I do with my free hour? Cleaned and finished up laundry. Oh how things change when you have two. before anyone thinks I'm crazy this was after I came back from a relaxing pedicure.

@winniebee: We're all about early wakeups here, but 445 is NOT ok. I hope things got better from there (mimosas and all!)
@theotherstark: So glad that you got a great night of sleep! What a perfect mothers' day gift
@AngelicOne: I hope the transition to the p'n'p goes well!
@FaithFertility: cute

I hope everyone had an amazing mothers day!
@theotherstark: Yay for the great sleep, hope it continues! I asked E for that and no go.
@FaithFertility: E does longer naps on his tummy, but since I get no sleep that way we r still in his back. He actually hasn't rolled over in awhile, too busy sitting.
@FaithFertility: Aww.

So M went down in his PnP great (put him in there already sleeping). Though I have been up at least once an hour either checking on him, rolling him back over to his back (doesn't roll belly to back yet), feeding him, or just calming him back down (when he's on his back already). I'm gonna call this successful so far.

Whenever the weekend hits, I fall so behind on this thread!
@AngelicOne: Glad to hear the PnP is working for you so far!
@Freckles: Jealous you got a pedicure! But even doing laundry with no kids underfoot is a luxury these days, so I feel you!
@theotherstark: Glad you got some sleep before Mother's Day! How was last night?
@winniebee: Ugh, your kids are just mean to you in the sleep department. How are you feeling?
@MrsF: Ugh, I hate it when people have selective memories! Sorry!
@Freckles: Yikes! Sorry to hear about everyone being sick!

Happy Belated Mother's Day to all you wonderful Mamas!!!
For Mother's Day, I got to sleep in! GLORIOUS. I mean, after the 5:30 wake-up to nurse and then pump, but then I got to go back to bed until 9:00 while Hubs got up with the kids.
