@mrsf: yikes! glad you never had to deal with it, but still...way too much bad stuff in this world you can have zero control over (and even think you're doing right...)!

@MrsF: Its really scary how much we can't protect our children from, no matter how much we want to or how hard we try.
@faithfertility: lol. Nope, thank goodness, other than diving off of things, the couch, his changing table, the bed - he's too used to me always being there to catch him, I hope there doesn't come a time when I'm not!
I think a E hit a switch yesterday with walking, all of a sudden its his preferred method of transport, lol.

Just got back from 1 year photos! Exhausting! I can't believe next photo session will be in March for a newborn!

@josina: Matthew is really clingy and whiny lately too. He will want dada, so dada takes him and mommy takes the opportunity to run to the bathroom or something and then he starts whining for me.
@BandDmommy: She looked adorable in the IG pics!
DH might have to go to CA for a week in January. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to tag along, or just go crazy dealing with a 14 month old by myself for the week! LOL

@AngelicOne: G is the exact same way these days kinda breaking Daddy's heart

@BandDmommy: Ooh, can't wait to see! Heading to IG
I haven't decided if we're doing pro 1 year pics yet...
@AngelicOne: Oh my goodness yes, he wanted daddy the other night and then scream-cried when I went to the bathroom. Silly baby.
Tough decision on the CA trip... would there be lots of free time to some fun things while you're out there?
persimmon / 1050 posts
@FaithFertility: Aww poor DH. Matthew wants DH sometimes when I have him, but it's not too often.
@josina: Doubt DH would have much free time during the day, so it'd just be M & I. I've never been to this part of CA, so no clue what there is to do. I'm reaching out to my cousin who lives an hr away to get her take on it. It's Fremont if anyone knows anything about it. LOL

Hanging out at the ER this morning. Ped didn't like her breathing at our follow up this morning and sent us here. I'm growing impatient. We had an X-ray - clear. And a triple breathing treatment. They aren't providing many answers.

@MamaG: Oh no, I hope all is okay and its just an extra precaution!! Keep us posted!

Thanks ladies. No real diagnosis other than she's acting asthmatic which isn't uncommon post RSV. We are on breathing treatments every 4 hours around the clock for 48 hours. And steroids through Tuesday. We get to follow up with the ped on Monday again.
They also said her ear still has some fluid, but since she's not feverish or bothered, they aren't going to do another course of antibiotics (she just finished on Wednesday!).
She's miserable. She was contained by being held for 5 hours in the ER. She got a couple of short naps in but is overtired.

@mamag: poor baby. Hope y'all get some rest and recovery over the weekend.
We survived the travel thank heavens for family security lines and family bathrooms. Shout out to the guy that gave us a thumbs up as I trudged through the airport, E in the ergo on my back, pulling one carry on with the infant bucket seat overtop, and another carry on with a 3 year old riding on, carrying on a conversation about how the bakery smelled like chocolate

Last night was restless. I think the heavy doses of prednisone and albutirol have her amped up. I'm hoping she can settle some today and get her sleep reset. She's also cut at least one more tooth, possibly three!

@MamaG: awwwwww poor girl I hope she's feeling better soon, and that she is able to nap well today
@KayKay: nice job!! Super mom

@AngelicOne: personally, I wouldn't want a long flight at this age. Haha. H would just want to walk around the whole time. But my husband works long hours and travels for work, so I guess I'm used to being on my own! A week is a long time, though!

@MamaG: Scary. I hope she's ok!
@KayKay: You're a rock star!
Ryan's cold took a turn for the worse so I had him checked for croup yesterday. Of course he wouldn't cough at the doctor so she could tell. He seems a bit better today. Doc said to call if worse and they'll give a steroid treatment.

@MamaG: Poor baby and mama That five hours in the ER must have been brutal! I'm sure the prednisone and albuterol are making it hard for her to sleep too. I hope this is short-lived!

@KayKay: go mama go! I'm impressed And I always appreciate a well-timed thumbs up or smile on those sort of adventures.
@winniebee: Poor R I hope tonight is better!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
I am not going to say anything about Ryan's sleep because it is all probably related to being sick.

@winniebee: well glad he is getting some good rest!
Hopefully he is better soon!

@theotherstark: Luckily it's only a 2 hr flight for us from AZ. LOL We've done 3 hr flights so far and they are manageable. Our flight to SC in 2 weeks will be the fun one as it's like 4 hrs to Atlanta, then another 1 hr flight to SC.
@winniebee: hope R feels better soon.

@MamaG: Poor thing! Hope you and her both can get some better rest!
@KayKay: Suuuper mom!!!
@BandDmommy: I am so nervous about our photoshoot and I just have 1! I can't wait for #3! He's gonna be another cutie for sure! Did you decide on a name already?
@AngelicOne: How much time does he have to spend at work each day? What area will you be? I think depending on the answers of those two things! I'm totally stalling taking K back to Asia b/c I just don't feel like dealing with a 15 hour flight and 13 hr time difference...
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: Yikes! K's cold is still raging too. She actually sleeps fine, but she wakes up at 6am everyday now! And she is suppppperrrr clingy and superglues herself to me pretty much 24x7.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@snowjewelz: 6 am is good in my world! Sorry she's still sick. R's cold is still raging too. And he's working on a bunch of teeth. He was in an awful mood this morning!
pomelo / 5660 posts
@snowjewelz: I thought we had a name but DH is being very difficult. We have a middle name though!
