@winniebee: Yeah she has a new top tooth too, these teeth of hers take FOREVER to come in her one bottom one is still 50%....lol

I know I've asked this before but how much is LO drinking:
G has 4 4-5oz servings of formula
@7,11,3,5:30
So 20 oz tops!
I nurse her before bed but latley that is not much or not at all!
Do you give the same with WCM?! Or only offer at meal times?!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@FaithFertility: Ryan nurses 4x a day. First wake, first nap, second nap, bed. (So usually 530, 8, 1, 7). He drinks a lot first thing and bed time is now a double boob feeding but I can't imagine he drinks more than 16 oz total (4oz per feeding). He eats breakfast, morning snack, lunch, two afternoon snacks, and dinner. No WCM (he just spits it out) but lots of water.

@winniebee: our teeth seem out of order. Bottom two, top four and then a molar. She's now cut another bottom tooth and another molar.
@FaithFertility: we are off formula and she gets wcm at meals and water other times. I would guess we offer 4-5 oz each time but her intake varies.

@FaithFertility: J is so clingy too! It's pretty much impossible to get anything done.
@winniebee: I know that one of my kids got a tooth out of order but now I can't remember which one... pathetic. And it's nice to hear that T is getting sick less as he gets older. I'm hoping that J has an immune system of steel after all of this!
@FaithFertility: I've been thawing some of my freezer stash and offering that to him in a straw cup throughout the day with snacks or meals (I just leave it in the fridge all day). I'll do the same with WCM when that runs out. He still nurses at wake up, before each nap and at bed. He gets 3 meals and 2 snacks. I highly doubt he gets more than 20 oz total throughout the day.
When M switched from bottles to a cup of WCM she hardly took any milk for a long time. Her ped said to give her lots of other dairy and a multivitamin. They should be getting most of their nutrition from solids after a year anyway. It's hard not to stress after a full year of focusing on milk / formula intake though!

@FaithFertility: M's 2nd bottom tooth is taking forever to pop through too. It started about 2 months ago, and just noticed today that it maybe popped through!.
M has been super clingy too. It makes it really hard to cook dinner with a kid attached to your leg. LOL
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: ughhh G isn't into water! I can get her to drink.it from a regular cup or my straw!
Thanks guess she is definitely drinking enough!

Okay, I got seriously behind on this thread, so... I suck. Sorry ladies!!
Sounds like there's a conversation about teeth? Logan has six now! Four on top and the two middle ones of the bottom. It kind of looks like he's working on his top canines too, though I'm not positive about that.
Food - Logan gets 3 5oz bottles at daycare and nurses morning and night. When we're home on the weekend, he usually nurses 5x/day.
Both my kids are sick. It's not fun. I actually had to pick up Logan early on Tuesday because he was having diarrhea. He was in an okay mood, but definitely cranky, and he refused to eat any solids, but he nursed fine, so I didn't have to worry about him getting dehydrated.

@Adira: awww so sorry they are sick!!!!
Hope your boys are on the mend soon!!!

Ethan has 4 top teeth and 2 on bottom.
Same as far as being clingy... when i'm cooking dinner I usually sit him in his high chair with crackers or fruit loops and he's happy for awhile... his time to 'sing' if you saw my IG video.
Ethan nurses at 5:30, 2 5-oz bottles at daycare and a sippy of milk throughout the day, nurses at 6 and 8.

@whenoceansrise: How did last night go? I thought of you when I had to get E a 2 am, standing up in his crib.
We have my grandpa's wake tonight and funeral tomorrow. Counting on E to put some smiles on people's faces, mine included.

No fever this morning. But milk for breakfast maybe wasn't a great idea. Covered in vomit. Mom life is not glamorous.

Kara's still sick too I gotta call the doctor b/c she's supposed to get her flu booster but she's not a week overdue and she still has runny nose and slightly congested.
Kara has 7 teeth right now; 3 top, 4 bottom. They seem to be growing "in order", haha. She never even stays still enough for me to really look so maybe there are more...
Right now this is her formula intake:
Morning - 4-5 oz
After nap 1 - 4-5 oz
After nap 2 - 4-5 oz
Before bed - 6 oz
So 18-21 oz. We just introduced her to WCM, but she's only drinking a little bit here and there with meals.

I'm never even going to say that I'm not speaking about sleep. I'm just not speaking about it haha. Last night R was up from 245-345. After big bro was up for a potty trip at 1. Zzzzzzzzzzz

@josina: He certainly will brighten up anyone's mood. I am so sorry for your loss. And I am so glad E got to spend time with him
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: Accck! Ugh, don't look forward to those potty trips lol! But then again, I sometimes have to wake up to pee too, so I can't blame them...
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
I totally have stage 5 clinger too. Poor daddy! When I'm home she only wants me! So he's glad that he spends like 1.5 days with her a week alone!

I decided to cut out the morning feed, so we basically have an early morning (somewhere between 4-6a usually), a pre-nap feed, sometimes a short post-nap, and a bedtime feed. All of a sudden she is drinking a lot more from a cup (water, WCM, BM, whatever), so I'm hoping this leads to a gradual weaning. I'd love to be done with any daytime nursing by the end of the month, and then just gradually wean off the wake/bedtime ones by the end of the year. We'll see.
@snowjewelz: i did the second shot when E had a minor cold (little runny nose, no fever) and she's been fine. i figured if i was waiting until she was totally 100% healthy, i might have like an hour window some day
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@KayKay: Exactly! I'm gonna call to see if they think I should just bring her in!
pear / 1961 posts
@winniebee: depends! if we are just around the house, i think she gets bored and realizes she might as well take a nap if she's tired she gets pretty fussy and will sleep for 1.5hrs if i put her down. but if we are out and about or she goes to her little super-part-time daycare thing, she is way too busy to sleep and does fine with just an extra long afternoon nap. so we're pretty solidly in transition, but it works!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: Hahahah DH kept G home today for this EXACT reason! If I am not there she loves him, if I am she is up my butt......lol
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: Hahaha at least they're smart... They will love whoever that's there lol. DH told me K held out her hands for her daycare teacher finally. They learn who to smooch up to!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@snowjewelz: ugh yuck! Ryan still has a cough too. T had a cold when he had scheduled flu shot and I called ahead and asked - they said it was ok for him to get it.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@KayKay: Ha sounds like G at home she goes right down for that morning nap, but at her sitters the past few weeks No Way...lol she isn't missing a thing.....lol

@snowjewelz: awww so sweet! Sometimes I go to pick up G and she will push off of.me to get back down to keep playing there! It makes me happy!!!!

Low grade fever seems to be back. Hovering right at 100.1 - 100.6. She had a big appetite and ate toast and mini waffles and water a couple of hours ago. What's coming out her bottom is awful and seems related to the antibiotics. She slept about 3 hours earlier and is acting tired again. She's been up about 2.5 hours. I'm going to put her down again but I'm afraid for sleep tonight.
Boo, germs! Go away.

@josina: I am so sorry for your loss . E will certainly bring smiles to everyone.
@winniebee: Ugh - I hope you have better sleep tonight!
@MamaG: What a It's so hard to see these little ones sick. Thinking of you guys!

I was optimistic when J was fever free this morning (though I know that your temp is naturally lower in the AM) but he was up around 103 for the rest of the day He's been very snuggly and sleepy, but not terribly fussy. He's also getting both a second and third molar at the same time, so I'm glad he's already getting so much Tylenol!
I'm so sad that I have to work tomorrow. It's breaking my heart to leave him Thank goodness for our wonderful sitter.

@MrsF: May the morning bring both of our littles a break in the fever!
Anyone who has dealt with ear infections: Could K's fever be related to her ear infections? She didn't have a fever on Monday when the doctor decided she was infected. We started the antibiotics that evening. DH is convinced the fever is ear related. I guess it's possible, but then it would seem that the antibiotic she is on isn't effective and I need to have her seen again.

@josina: last night went good! Took him 40 minutes to fall asleep with only one wake up and he fell asleep after like 5 minutes of me sitting next to his crib. Tonight it only took 20 minutes for him to fall asleep! Hoping this continues! Hope you get good sleep tonight!

@josina: So sorry for your loss. I know M definitely put smiles on people's faces at the memorial for my FIL.
M's 2nd tooth finally broke through yesterday and he started saying Mama! He won't repeat it after us yet, he just blurts it out whenever he feels like it.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@josina: Sorry for your loss, never easy! E will make everyone smile I am sure!!!!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@MamaG: not much experience with ear infections, but just generally speaking I would think that if she has been on an antibiotic since Monday either the fever is from the ear infection and the antibiotic is ineffective or its from some other virus or something.
Have I mentioned I hate sick Friday's? I'm always trying to figure out if the dr needs to see them before the weekend comes...
