G woke at 5:20 I swore it said 6:20 on my phone so I just went in her room and got her up thinking she gets up at 6:30 anyway!
Walked by the clock in kitchen and I see 5:50

E is on 48hrs of fever 104+. UGH. Took her to the dr yesterday, but aside from an ear infection (which the doc said is unlikely to cause such a high fever), it's likely just a virus. I think it's probably the same crummy cold/crud that K and I had 10 days ago, since her nose is like a fountain of nasty green snot. As long as I keep her medicated and the fever stays down around 102-103, she is relatively ok, although gets tired basically every 1.5-2hrs. But outside of that, clingiest. baby. ever. And of course the almost 4 year old totally understands and is fine with not getting much/any attention while I take care of her sister
On top of all of that, DH was on-call and hardly home for 2 nights this week, AND we made an offer on a house Sunday and have been dealing with inspection results/negotiations all week.

Mama needs the weekend. Stat. Kids aren't sick on weekends, right? RIGHT?

@KayKay: Hugs to you! Moving is exciting though, amidst all the craziness! I hope E feels better.. I have been holding my breath for the next sickness, lol. K got to 102 this time and it was RSV. Last time she got to 104 it was ear infection.
K has been sleeping like a dream lately! Remember when I was having issues with her napping till 4:30 then up till 9? Well, she does nap till 4:30 still some days, but she is asleep at 8:30 ON THE DOT. At 7:30 on the dot she asks for paci and lovey and asks to go upstairs to change. It's crazzzy!! And she has been sleeping till 6:30! Who is this?!

E was up at 4 am this morning and wouldn't go back to bed, hung out in our bed for an hour before DH finally got him to go back to sleep in his crib.

@FaithFertility: not a ton... It was more of a feeling. I had my af on January 1st and there was the fact I hadn't had another, but assumed that was because my cycles weren't back to normal.
I've had a cold the past week, so a lot of potential symbols I was attributing to that. Things like having stuffy sinuses, dry skin, upset stomach, gagging when I brushed my tongue.
But I got tired of waiting for my next af to show up. I kept asking dh if I should test and he said there was no way and not to waste my money. Ha!

Gahhh 101 fever last night up at 3:00 would not go back down! She finally passed out in our bed on me

We now have two coughing kids. I didn't sleep much between all the coughing. Lots of snotty noses too.

I'm finally feeling a little better but now the kids are coughing!!
I'm confused about Ryan's naps. He goes down without a fight 2.5-3 hours after he wakes up and seems very ready for it. But then fights afternoon nap and has skipped a few times this week. And today napped 945-12
so probably another no nap day. I'm guessing 1 nap within the month.

@winniebee: I think that's how a lot of kids show they are ready for one nap? Basically you have to start powering thru morning and then they collapse in a puddle of tired by the afternoon? Or that's the goal, anyways

We have sickness going on around here too. I caught something last weekend, then DH got it Monday & M got it on Tuesday. We are in snotty, crusted nose city here.
In other news, we are moving to a 3 BR apt the beginning of next month.
M will have his own room finally!

I think sleep on an incline helps as she is propped up on mine or DH arm!
She will not go back down in crib, I know it's starting a bad habit that I pray she doesnt get used to,but so hard when they are sick! -

@winniebee: We're having similar issues with the nap. At first he would refuse his first nap and then take the second, which was fine, but now he's been taking a morning nap and refusing the afternoon nap - which makes us all cranky! I might have to force him to drop the first nap

@MrsF: ugh yes! Well yesterday he took a long morning one only. And honestly wasn't that cranky. And then sleept 7-645. Which had me convinced to give him 1 today ...but then he was yawning at 845 so I put him down and he slept 9-1030. But now it's 245 and he's not asleep for afternoon nap. Pretty sure this means we just have to force it too. Guessing we will have to do a 12pm sharp nap for a week for it to stick.
