@winniebee: We try to get K down right around noon as well. Somehow daycare doesn't get her down until after pretty consistently and I don't know how she does it there, because she's pretty cranky at home.

@FaithFertility: Poor G, hope she feels better soon. E slept in our bed last night too 12-6 and he's not a co-sleeper usually either. I told DH he just wanted to give me some vday cuddles
@AngelicOne: congrats on the new apartment! Do you have theme-plans for M's bedroom?@Miss Ariel: OMG, congrats! So excited for all of the pregnant December mamas

@MamaG: Ugh - that's the hard part because I have to pick M up from preschool at 1 so the earliest I can reasonably get J down is 1:30. He's going to be a disaster.

And just when I thought things were improving, k threw up all over me. She did cough and gag first and the vomit followed a few seconds later. This was right after we got home. At least it wasn't in the car.

@MamaG: ohhh no

But was happy out at dinner low sleep needs this child!!!!!

@MamaG: Oh no I hope it's short-lived!
@FaithFertility: Oh that's so nice. They must be so thrilled!

@FaithFertility: Awww how sweet. Did you tell in any special way? Big sister shirt?
Ended up co-sleeping with E again last night 12-6 (and then back in his crib for an hour). He's not sick or anything so not sure why he's waking up and deciding he doesn't want to stay in his crib.

@josina: G signed her Vday cards to my parents

@KayKay: sorry it took me so long to respond! DH never got a full time job, but he has been doing some freelance editing work and has booked some weddings for videography and has been doing very well with that! i'm jealous though that he gets to spend more time with M than me! thanks for checking in!

anyone else's lo been having some major temper tantrums? m has been doing the whole laying out and kicking and crying when he doesn't get what he wants or when he gets frustrated with one of his toys.

Can antibiotics make a baby hyper?! G just won't nap and she acts as if she isn't even tired?!?!
She napped 12-12:45 yesterday and is still not asleep for the day today

@whenoceansrise: Not too many she stamps her feet sometimes....lol

@whenoceansrise: Luckily not yet. He does scream if he gets mad, like can't pick up something he wants, or if a book gets stuck. Sooo loud.

@FaithFertility: E will sometimes go that long without napping on the weekends.. but we've never followed a strict schedule either.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@josina: we seem to be in nap hell on weekends, there is no schedule anymore!
Between being sick skipping naps, IDK what she needs!
She isn't going down!
I guess no nap?!? Bed at what 6?!
I turned on projector mobile and music maybe she will watch and fall asleep?!? If not I guess we skip it!

@whenoceansrise: thank you! And K throws those tantrums ALL THE TIME. She loves playing with megablocks and is pretty good at it, but sometimes if they won't go together the way she wants she flings herself to the ground. Or if you take something away from her. She actually did it once a few weeks ago when dh picked her up from daycare and she didn't want to leave.

@whenoceansrise: J throws his head back and cries when he doesn't get something he wants. We had a few babies the same age over here this morning and they were all doing some variation on that at one time or another! Crazy babies
@FaithFertility: Oh man, that sounds like a tough day! Is she on steroids in addition to antibiotics? (I forget if she had croup) The steroids that are often given for croup can definitely make you hyper! I hope you're both feeling better after the car nap!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MrsF: She had croup as of last Thursday but finished those steroids Monday!

@josina: I really wanted to do this Snoopy set (ordered the lamp from Zulily awhile back & had issues receiving it, so was going to do something else, but then finally got it last week)

@FaithFertility: when the kid is sick, do whatever it takes to get that nap!

@FaithFertility: @josina: Thanks! I love the colors & also loved Snoopy growing up. Figured we can change it when he's a little more vocal about his likes later on. LOL

@MamaG: @FaithFertility: Sorry about the sick kiddo's!
*knock on wood* that K's been well, but we had a playdate and the mom just told me K's little boyfriend has a virus, soooo who knows now! I just take it day by day!
@FaithFertility: Aww to your dad crying. Such an exciting time And really sorry about G! I know Benadryl made K hyper.. She's prob not feeling herself, just do whatever it takes and don't worry about it! I've had to rock on occasion but when she's 100% she goes back to normal without any problems.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@whenoceansrise: Good to know your DH is doing well! My DH spends more time with K too and I am totally jealous also
K now does this slow-mo tantrum thing... When she gets told no... She starts to form the frown.. And tears well up but it's like she's seeing what we're gonna do first to decide if she's gonna full-out cry or not. And everytime, I start laughing so hard b/c it's just so funny to watch and then she starts laughing too, lol.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@AngelicOne: Cuute! Love Snoopy!
@winniebee: I totally give up trying to figure out naps. Some days I feel like she's on the brink of going to 1, other days I feel like she really needs 2. When she's at daycare, she naps from like 11-12 or beyond, and will nap again from like 3:30-4:30 and somehow still go to bed at 8:30. At home, we force an early nap at 10, and she will do 40 min to an hour, and then again from like 2:30-4. We've never tried 1 nap at home, so if she does 1 nap it's when we're out and it's never that long so it sucks!
nectarine / 2053 posts
@snowjewelz: m does that sometimes too but it hurts his feelings when we laugh at him so we try not to. haha!
