K really needs to stop pooping at night! Makes our MOTN process so much longer! She actually gave me a good 10 min today of just laying on her playmat awake. I just never know with this one!
I hope going to your moms is a nice change of pace. I'm always so happy to have my mom around when we can visit. (Nana is my favorite toddler entertainer).

I am so fearful of co-sleeping/falling asleep with her that I won't do it at night... wish I could but my fear is to great!

@FaithFertility: I'm pretty sure I fell asleep nursing while sitting up last night. If I were laying down I definitely would! Sounds nice though...

@FaithFertility: that's what I do at night and we co sleep! I never thought about co sleeping until we just.. Did it! We just make sure to clear a space between us for her and we don't pull up our comforter past her feet. When she feeds on one side that faces the edge of the bed I put my body pillow there. But I usually have my arm around her and she can't roll anyway.
During the day now I cheat too by not burping her.. She just nurses and fell asleep laying sideways on the nursing pillow and I just left her.

Rough night last night for us too. J didn't fall asleep 'till around 2
I think we hit the six week growth spurt right on time. SO fussy and nursing nonstop.

I loved the snuggle session! WE shall see how it goes, I could always get a co-sleeper thing for the bed!

Ugh, I don't know what happened, but I logged in to check my work e-mail and had an e-mail from my boss saying that for some reason I've been placed on unpaid leave and that he can't record my labor for me. When I went to check my latest paycheck, I realized I wasn't paid for January 1st!!! And presumably I'm not being paid for all of this week, even though I had plenty of vacation time to cover at least 5 more weeks of leave!!! WTF!!!!

@FaithFertility: I nurse laying down at night.. I started setting a 20 minute alarm in case I fall asleep. By the 5 or 6 am feeding I just let him sleep on my chest.
@Adira: oh no! So will you get paid for the next 5 or not at all? My boss tried pulling this with me, saying he didn't remember saying that I was getting paid... And that was 3 weeks after we had already cleared it up! I was livid! Luckily I had it in writing and our controller knew it, so it worked out. Hope the same for you!
I am exhausted today and want nothing more than to sleep all day, but of course when I try to nap I cant.

@josina: I don't know what is going to happen. It's not my boss's fault. He was actually pretty upset when he found out. He went to enter my labor for the week and for some feelreason I'm no longer listed as one of his employees in our system. He called HR and payroll and found out I was placed on unpaid status, but he doesn't know why since I had vacation time left AND as of the 1st, I should have received another week of sick time plus floating holidays. Something weird is going on. I hope he's able to clear it up soon or he figures out who I need to call to get it fixed.

Speaking of $ troubles, cost us like $300+ to get LO's super minor tongue tie clipped! So glad we didn't go back for a 2nd round? Did everyone's hospital bill come in yet? Mine came in and I had to pay 2k+ and K's bill was like $800+.

My mom is here with me till end of next week bc DH has school for his doctorate. she is convinced DD is spoiled with being held! Maybe she can help K get better at napping then!

@snowjewelz: It's not a bad thing to let mom take over and give it a try. When my mom was here and K was going through her horrible gas, my mom was like the baby whisperer, she could get her to calm down and sleep relatively easily.
I've received my bills as well, as well as multiple calls from the hospital wanting payment - they are pushy! I owe just under $1K for me and K's bill is still stuck in insurance, but will be about $250. I also just got the anesthesiologist bill this week. And lab bills are rolling in too. Everyone wants some money!

@snowjewelz: my hospital bill was $2500 and I'm pretty sure I have another bill coming from the clinic for $500. Haven't seen a bill yet for Ethan but he is on my husbands plan and his is better.
Gahh, I was apparently so tired this morning I called Ethan a her in my last post! Edited to fix.
@winniebee: I was THIS close to sleeping and he woke up. Now he's passed out again on my lap but I know as soon as I fall asleep again it'll be time to eat.
