Ugh, so DH just called and he has to work Friday. The day I have my 3 hour test scheduled. And I'm scrambling to find a babysitter.
I think I'm going to have to reschedule for next week when I have a sitter available.

3rd Trimester GTKY:
Weeks Pregnant: 31w2d
Weight gain: 8lbs (lost a bunch in the first tri)
Decided on Name (Y/N): Elliot Ryan (although DH is a little unsure)
How are you feeling: So-so. Lots of BH contractions and some sciatic and general aches and pains. I think I'm less comfortable overall than I was with my last pregnancy.
How is labor prep going? Um... we've got my mom lined up to watch M when I have the baby, but not much else in the way of plans. -

How are you feeling: I am really starting to feel pregnant.....lol MY feet are getting so fat....and I can't sleep, but other than that doing good!
How is labor prep: ummmmm not much....we have to schedule our Hospital tour and L&D class for this month!I am super Hungary today......so she must be growing, because I usually don't have a crazy big appetite!

3rd Trimester GTKY:
Weeks Pregnant: 28 +5
Weight gain: ~25 lbs (boo)
Decided on Name (Y/N): I think so, Charles Steven (aka Charlie)
How are you feeling: Generally ok, but pretty stressed out a lot of the time. I have a lot on my plate between now and December and that doesn't even include planning for Charlie's medical care and whatnot. I know it will all work out in the end, but it can be hard to see that at times.
How is labor prep going? (hospital classes, hospital bag, alternative care for other LO, etc) It isn't really. My care is being transferred to the MFM at ~32 weeks so I can deliver at the hospital with a level 3 NICU and the heart surgeons. I am sure that after that point I will start worrying more about hospital tours, packing my hospital bag, and arranging for a family member to stay with us for a few weeks to help out with LO#1. -

Decided on Name (Y/N): 95% sure it'll be Logan Matthew
How are you feeling: Pretty good! I have heartburn, but I just carry Tums around with me to manage it. And pelvis pain, but I think I'm actually getting used to that, so it's not bothering me as much. But whenever I walk anywhere more than a few feet, I have to peeeeee!
How is labor prep going? Not taking any classes since this is #2 and I like to pretend I know what I'm doing. I THINK child care is taken care of. Despite all the arguing with my mom, she seems on board to take care of Xander and we got a new mattress for our futon so she can sleep comfortably. I need to get sheets and pillows though. I also need to update my care instructions with his asthma information. Haven't started packing my hospital bag yet...

3rd Trimester GTKY
Weeks Pregnant: 31w today!
Weight gain: ~13 lbs
Decided on Name (Y/N): We're pretty set on a name, but we are waiting to meet him to make sure it fits.
How are you feeling: Feeling fine! I am having a fair amount of BH contractions (mostly brought on by walking my dog), and get out of breath pretty easily now. I also think my little guy is lodged on my right side, so it can get a little uncomfortable at times. But I'm still loving being pregnant and feeling his big and small movements
And hiccups. How is labor prep going? (hospital classes, hospital bag, alternative care for other LO, etc): We have a hospital tour/all-day class scheduled for Oct 11; I'm really looking forward to that. I need to start getting a hospital bag together, but keep putting it off! I keep telling myself it's too soon, but it's really not... Ha. No LO to figure out care for, but we are trying to figure out what we'll do with our dog. I think we'll try to board him while I'm in the hospital?

How are you feeling: Physically okay. Def starting to not sleep as well due to bigger pump and DD constantly having a party inside! Mentally I am stressed! Can't believe it's already Oct and I feel like there is SOOOO much to do
How is labor prep going? (hospital classes, hospital bag, alternative care for other LO, etc) Have class/tour on 10/25, def have NOT packed hospital bag at all, probably won't do that till early Nov?? -

I had my glucose test today. The drink wasn't that bad. I had orange and it just tasted like flat orange soda. The phlebotomist blew a vein in my arm though... Ouch! We had a repeat ultrasound today to check on my placenta which HAS moved up! The tech gave us another peek at our little cutie! -

@FaithFertility: Haha! I swear I have had pregnancy brain/baby brain for about 2 years (since I was pregnant with my first). At least you seem to have realized it was a candle before you took a drink!

I went in for a 30w growth US today. He's about 3lbs6ozs & breech so I have to coax him into position hopefully. His head is on my upper left side and he was sitting cross legged. He didn't want to cooperate much at all. He had his eyes open so I got a cute pic of that at least.

Weeks Pregnant: 30w6dWeight gain: 3-4lbs so far. My GD diet is working apparently. lol
Decided on Name (Y/N): Yes & no. We have a list & know one of the names, but not decided on it being 1st or middle.
How are you feeling: Pretty good so far. Starting to get uncomfortable at night & tired a lot. Heartburn is back, but only at night.
How is labor prep going? (hospital classes, hospital bag, alternative care for other LO, etc) We've done the hospital tour & have done 3 out 4 baby classes through our OB completed. Need to work on a hospital bag though.

you guys.... I HAVE TO GO BACK FOR THE 3 HOUR TEST. ugh.
apparently he likes for it to be under 130 and mine was 136 so they are making me come back. they blew out my vein today during this test and she said "let's hope you don't have to come back for the three hour test. you'll be in a world of hurt" because i have bad veins... I DON'T WANNA -

@whenoceansrise: Booo, I'm sorry!!! It's so easy to fail the 1 hour test. I hope you pass the 3 hour one! Just make sure you're hydrated beforehand to help your veins.

Weeks pregnant: 28 weeks
Weight gain: around 20 ...nine of which was last month...I got yelled at
Decided on name: Sullivan McDowell
How are you feeling: I'm feeling well, I am wondering if I am nesting as everything needs to be done yesterday. Also I have been on the 4:14am ( yes on the dot ) wake up plan lately which just makes me cranky haha!
How is labor prep: We did more the first round. I kinda feel like I have been to this rodeo before but I do want to do something other then pack the hospital bags ( which I plan to do this weekend ) -

Soooo.....I decided to take the rest of the school hear off at my job come Dec when I leave:) FMLA and sick leave gives me 60 days payed and with winter break and spring break falling in my time frame.....it would put me back to work April 6th ....DH and I decided I would take a maternity leave of absence for the rest of the year from April to June 4th....!!! I am so happy we decided this! I am looking forward to the time with LO, and will resume my teaching job come August
