@winniebee: We have a Motorola video monitor, so just ordered a second camera for it. I honestly LOVE having the video portion because sometimes Xander will be whining or whimpering and I like being able to see what he's up to. If he's still lying down and just looks like he's trying to get comfortable, I'll leave him alone. But if he's sitting up or standing, I know to go check on him!

@winniebee: We have a video monitor. We are only going to have 1 monitor. We haven't had a monitor in B's room for over a month and it has not been an issue. B will just yell for me when he wakes up.

@BandDmommy: we didn't use one until we moved but this rental house is so big and the walls are plaster so we can't hear him if we don't use one!

Not even sure what to say about this but my husband has to take trauma call on December 6 (38w) and the whole weekend of Dec 13 (39w). I honestly have no idea whether he can pull a favor if I go into labor at one of those times. At least he will already be at the same hospital as me on 12/6 if I do?

    hope you feel better @BandDmommy:

I need to vent, I'm so over working. I'm a social worker in a school with a high need population of students and I love them but it's impossible to take it easy at the job, I don't know how much longer I can do it and right now I feel like I am going to be pregnant forever.

@winniebee: Ugh, that's super stressful and annoying I'm really sorry. I don't even know what to say

@BandDmommy: My vomiting never went away But my midwife did tell me to call in if I had vomiting and dizziness, headaches, etc. Maybe just take it easy and keep an eye on your symptoms? I would call a nurse if the dizziness + vomiting continued, but that might just be me being paranoid.

@magnolia: Yikes. I feel like being a social worker at any time would be stressful, but it must be doubly so while pregnant and tired! I'm sorry!!

@winniebee: Does whoever schedules him know that you're about to give birth? I would have to think that something can be done so he can be there for his child's birth!

@winniebee: ugh. That's the last thing you need to worry about!

@BandDmommy: sorry you're not feeling well! I've been really lightheaded and nauseous lately but I've been attributing it to my BP. Any idea what's going on with you?

@magnolia: that must be so hard to have such a high-stress job right now

Just finished my last appointment! Yippee. I'm all set for a surgery on Tuesday and have zero intent of deviating from that plan. I'm still not dilated. I think the sonogram under-estimated size. They had K at 6 lb 14 oz this morning and I fully expect her to be about 7.5 lb at birth.

I have today and tomorrow left at work, and these days can't go quickly enough.

@winniebee: So sorry you have to worry about his work schedule like that! I hope he is able to figure something out so he is there when you are in labor!

@BandDmommy: Sorry you feel so bad! I have noticed my nausea and dizziness come back as well, especially when I am going up and down from the floor. I hope it subsides soon!

@magnolia: I'm also in "over work" land here. My job is not nearly so stressful, but I am so overwhelmed by all the things I need to do that I am at the point of just saying F- it and coasting until my induction. One thing is for sure though, you won't be pregnant forever! That little baby will be so worth it.

@MamaG: How exciting!! Looking forward to hearing about (and hopefully seeing!) your LO!

@MamaG: So exciting about Tuesday! They told me when I had a growth ultrasound last pregnancy that by this point, it's really +/- a pound, so I'm curious to see what K ends up weighing for you!
