@snowjewelz: Woo! Congrats on your !
Haven't felt any kicks yet and I still have 4 more weeks until I will know the gender. Ahhh, hurry up!! As far as symptoms go, I feel great! My appetite is crazy and it's actually kind of nice to actually be hungry for a change.

@whenoceansrise: Feed that bump! Hehe. I can't wait to find out what you're having!

So I have been feeling some movement off and on for probably a week but still nothing that was screaming "I'm the baby moving!" Until over the weekend - mostly at night before bed or laying on the couch. Last night I was laying on my back in bed (tsk tsk) and could feel baby from the outside too! It is crazy what a difference an anterior placenta makes though because I had one last time and couldn't feel movement from the outside until probably 24 weeks.

@winniebee: same here! Dave was able to feel the baby move. It's so cool to feel them move.

@snowjewelz: Eeek, congrats on your little lady!!
So exciting
And I bet you did feel the baby - I was telling my mom that I thought I felt some little flutters at just after 15 weeks (!!!) that were unlike any type of gas or anything I had felt. I was all, oh, it's way too early, so most likely some weird gas or something. She said if you hadn't felt anything like it before, it's most likely the baby
@whenoceansrise: I still have another 2 weeks to wait, and I'm dying of curiosity! We probably will try to hold off on telling people IRL as long as possible, so I will definitely be here telling you guys first thing, since I'll be bursting with the news
@littlek: @winniebee: Awww I can't wait for my husband to feel the baby too! There have been one or two times that I could actually feel the little pop pop kicks on the outside, but nothing that my husband could feel.

@snowjewelz: Congrats on the
Just got back from my U/S appt. Baby boy is looking great. He is measuring ahead a little (as much as 19w6d on some of the measurements) but he was moving all over giving the tech a hard time.

@snowjewelz: I'm going crazy! I think it's a boy and man am I going to have a hard time finding a boy name that I like!
@theotherstark: You better! 2 weeks isn't that far away!!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@theotherstark: I'm waiting to feel it another time! But I don't think I'm tuning in at all when I'm busy at work so I prob miss some of them!
@AngelicOne: Mine's measuring a little behind! It's funny to see just how much they move and I don't feel much of it!
@whenoceansrise: I was in the same boat... That's why I was so anxious to find out! But at least there's still many months to come up with a name!

@snowjewelz: So true! I couldn't feel any of his movements. Did find out that he likes to hang out at the top part of my uterus & behind my belly button though! Little stinker.
@whenoceansrise: I hear you about the boy names. It's seems much harder to find a few I like.

@winniebee: how cool, I am so bad with waking up on my back...ughhh
Anyone try a pregnancy pillow?

@FaithFertility: I bought a snoogle 2 weeks ago and like it so far. It gets a little warm sleeping with it, but I live in AZ so it's always hot.

@winniebee: Jealous you could feel movement from the outside!!! I have an anterior placenta AGAIN, so I know I won't be feeling movement for a while!

Oh and just for kicks, here is a 3D pic the tech gave us. Nm to see since her features aren't really defined. And then I have her gender pic; it's taken from the bottom up so it's her butt and legs sticking out. You can even see the lips of her vagina.. So crazy!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: Awww! I usually find 3D u/s pics creepy, but that one is downright cute!!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: I agree! She didn't even ask us, she just switched to 3D and printed it out! I might get really creeped out later on...
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: Oh weird! I don't even think our u/s machines at my practice do 3D! You're lucky you got a cute picture!!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: I really have no clue what goes on where. I thought its as separate machine too and that you have to pay extra to get those or something!

At my OB's office it's just a different attachment for the U/S machine. Essentially a different wand that attaches. In my first pregnancy they tried it at one of my U/S but couldn't really get a good face shot or anything.

Husband felt baby move and kick today! Ahhhh so fun! This is my favorite part.

@allison: Awww!
My husband hasn't felt our babe yet, but I love feeling the little wiggle worm moving around!
@MamaG: @snowjewelz: So crazy! I don't think our office even has the option of the 3d scans. They kind of creep me out, to be honest That's awesome they just randomly switched it on for you!! So fun.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@allison: Aww that is so great! I can't even feel them yet haha, let alone DH!
pomelo / 5298 posts
Our first didn't really like DH touching her. Whenever he would try to feel her movement, she'd stop moving and he'd get impatient. My favorite, though it was a little creepy, was late in my first pregnancy LO had hiccups for probably 20 minutes straight. I just sat on the couch and watched. It really freaked my DH out. He kept telling to me stop as if I had some control over it.

@snowjewelz: congrats on the baby girl!
Did it take any of you ladys a while to get used to the gender of your baby? Im finally getting used to the fact that its a boy even though I had a feeling from the beginning it was a boy.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@luv2beamom: I think hearing it's a boy this time will be weird for me since in my head I've thought of this baby as a girl from day 1. A lot of ppl experience gender disappointment so I think it's normal (though I'm not saying that's what you have, just throwing it out there).
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@luv2beamom: No, I was excited LO #1 is a boy and I'm thrilled LO #2 is a girl. But it is common for it to take people awhile to gender. My friend had severe gender disappointment when she found out her 2nd child was a boy.

@littlek: @winniebee: I mean dont get me wrong im super excited....but it took me like a week for it to set in. I think it wouldve been the same if it was a girl too. Maybe its because I havent really gotten attached to this pregnancy because of everything else going on.
Hows everyone feeling? Ive been having a lot of abdominal aches, im guessing ffom all the stretching? Anyone else having that?
eggplant / 11861 posts
@luv2beamom: I have some pulling sensations time to time and I think its that too!
I also think. I feel the baby but it is so subtle and so sporadic I am not sure!
olive / 65 posts
@FaithFertility: yeah I have that too. Its so exciting that you're feeling baby! I think I feel movements from time to time but everyone I talk to makes me second guess.
