I was hoping someone else would join but I’ll be the first!
Due date:
Unsure exactly since I wasn’t positive of my LMP. I think early-mid October.
Baby #: 3! I have a 5y and 2yo, they’ll be almost 3 and close to 6.
First appt: I had an appt the week I found out to get my long overdue Pap smear and also to make sure I wasn’t further along then I thought! The ultrasound just showed a thickened lining which would have been consistent with 4-5wks, which was what I suspected. So my “real” first appt is March 9! I made it on the later side so I could be sure there was enough time to see whatever we should be seeing but of course now the wait is driving me crazy!
Symptoms: only a hint of nausea which I am anxiously anticipating! As usual, when I don’t have any I am worried and once it’s in full swing I’ll be miserable! I double checked my last due date board (nov ‘17) and right around 6 weeks I was commenting on how I didn’t have any yet until suddenly I did! So just trying to be calm and patient and hope for the best.

@paranundrum: @DamnedSpot: thank you ladies. I do follow along with the POAS board from time to time as a silent cheerleader and I really hope for some positives there soon!

@MountainBaby: these due date boards are pretty sparse! Please feel free to pop in here from time to time as well! Hopefully it gets some activity.

@Mrs.Panda: welcome and congratulations to you too! We will definitely be commiseration twins with the whole number 3 journey!
@chypmunk: yay welcome! I definitely will send you whatever luck I can find! I also would describe the slight nausea I have as semi/in waves. I don’t want it to come in full strength but I also nervously anticipate it since I had it with my first two!

Due date: 9/5
Baby #: 3 I have 2 girls. They are 5 and 3 years old.
Next appt: February 24th
Anything else? Symptoms? Etc?
I'm 11 weeks and nausea is starting to subside a little and I've got a bloated belly that makes me look like I'm 6 months.
Had my first appointment last month and saw a little jellybean with a heartbeat on the ultrasound. I had a miscarriage in 2018 at 7 weeks and I'm still waiting for this pregnancy to end up the same way despite nothing being wrong yet. Hoping to hear the heartbeat with a doppler at my next appointment.
Thank you for starting this!

I’m not in the fall but there’s nothing for August so I’m going to join in too if that’s ok!
Due date: 8/28
Baby #: 2, have a 16 month old son!
Next appt: Friday (2/21), having an NT scan done!
Anything else? Symptoms? Etc? This is my 3rd IVF pregnancy, I had an early loss last October and I am relieved that I’m well past that point with this pregnancy! I’ll be 13 weeks on Friday!
I’ve had some crazy morning sickness with this pregnancy (never had it with my first)!

@Mrs.Panda: yes!!!
@littlebear16: I know too well that nervous anticipation of another loss. I hope hearing the Doppler soon helps! I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks before my first, and baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks I found out when I started bleeding. I am not having very many symptoms which is making me nervous! Especially since I scheduled my first official apt on the later side.
@Marfi: Welcome to a late summer back to school fall baby! Haha. You are so amazing to have gone through the IVF process. My sister just had her first through embryo adoption/IVF and if those treatments aren’t one of the most physically, emotionally, psychologically grueling things one can go through! I will never look at any part of the baby making process again!!!

Had my NT scan today! I was so glad I got to see baby! If I hadn't done it I wouldn't have had another scan until 20 weeks!

@Marfi: Hi baby!
Hows everyone feeling? I just started feeling like crap this week. Ugh, just a few days ago I was thinking how I didnt really have any symptoms and now I feel like I am on day one of a mild stomach flu. Plus last night I got a migraine so I was up all night puking from the headache pain!

Not sure, but feel like my days are numbered on this board... I had an early scan mainly for dating.. and it showed me 2 weeks behind of what I should be at. My Dr told me that its not impossible for the dating to be off since I don't have an actual LMP and to re-scan in 2 weeks to see if there was growth... I'm a wreck, and basically feel defeated. I had high hopes... but now i don't really feel that confident.

Thanks for making this group!
Due date: 9/29 or 10/2 depending if you go by size or dating
Baby #: three! I have a 5 year old girl and 3.5 year old boy
First appt: yesterday! Had an ultrasound and everything looks great!
Anything else? Symptoms? Etc? Tired, feeling "blah", super bloated, low-grade nausea, weird food cravings

@chypmunk: delurking to say I’m so sorry to read your post. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed it’s just slow development and in two weeks you’ll get good news.

@chypmunk: I'm really sorry to read this. Are you going to have another scan in 2 weeks? How do you feel, symptom wise? We're here for you. Hugs

@chypmunk: big hugs I’m so sorry, I know the waiting will be awful regardless of the outcome. Crossing everything you get good news next time

@Marfi: What a great profile picture of baby! We didn't have an NT scan, but my doctor couldn't find a doppler so she brought in a mobile ultrasound machine instead. The pictures we got look more awkward/alien like than yours

I guess I'm dipping my toes in!
Due date: 10/27/2020
Baby #: 2
First appt:
on Tuesday 3/3, I had an appointment at the fertility clinic where we were scheduled for an infertility consult. They were so nice and did bloodwork and an ultrasound, which seemed to say I was right about 6 weeks along, roughly. There was a heartbeat we could see too! She started me on progesterone suppositories, as my level was borderline. I have my next appt on Tuesday 3/10. They said they would see me until 12 weeks which I'm grateful for because my obgyn practice has been not as supportive!
Anything else? Symptoms? Etc?
I had very bad morning sickness with my last pregnancy. With this one I'm just queasy but so far I've been able to eat. I'm trying not to over-think it. Otherwise, I'm exhausted, sleepy, emotional, and have really sore boobs.

@MoonMoon: yay! So glad you had a good appt at the fertility clinic! And happy to have you here. How old is your first kiddo? My first real appt is finally next week on the 10 as well! Anxious and excited to see baby and get a due date since mine was so tentative. I have been so sick lately, ugh. I hope it starts fading soon, I should be about 9 weeks now. I also feel like I am eating a lot to alleviate the feelings of nausea and already gaining weight.

@chypmunk: hope you are feeling ok, I am sure the waiting game is painful and horrendous.
pomegranate / 3393 posts
@mrsbubbletea: I'm sorry you're feeling so sick! My queasiness is ramping up a bit each day so I'm commiserating. Have you found anything to help you feel better?
Yay for answers on 3/10!
My son is 6, will be 7 in June. We're wondering when to share the news with him.

@Marfi: Just wanted to say we morphed out original June 2020 Due Date group into a Summer (June/July Aug) 2020 due date group if you want to rejoin us. @MountainBaby (August mamma) is also there.

@MoonMoon: I took unisom and b6 with my daughter and I think it helped a little! I have been too lazy/forgetful to pick up some unisom this time, but I am sporadically taking B6.
As for telling older sibling, I keep talking about it in the abstract to my 5yo. I saw wow what if we had another baby? What would you think? Do you think it would be a girl or a boy? How would you help this time? That kind of stuff. Last night I was so bloated from a large dinner and my stomach was huge, and my son was hugging all over me and being touchy feely as usual, and he's like "wow. I think you definitely have a baby in your belly! Its so big!" Thanks kid. I know I am getting a gut from eating so much to alleviate the nausea but thanks for confirming . As for when Ill tell him for real, I might tell him after my ultrasound next week if everything ok? Or maybe wait till 12-14weeks or so?
pomegranate / 3393 posts
@mrsbubbletea: that's hilarious! And sad! I'm feeling bloated too, and the progesterone is not helping... My son is definitely on board with a baby, I just feel so nervous about the prospect of things not going well. I'm thinking around 12 weeks or so?
cherry / 160 posts
@MoonMoon: We waited until 12 weeks to tell my daughter. Part of it was not having her worry if something went wrong. But I also didn't want to give her the impression that this was shameful or something to hide by having her keep a secret, so we told her just before telling everyone else.
nectarine / 2821 posts
@MountainBaby: Those thoughts are exactly what I was considering. If, god forbid, I lose this baby, I will tell my son whats going on in age appropriate terms. But I would rather not him be excited and then have to experience a loss, if at all possible! Plus he'll probably start telling everyone so theres that too!
