Im still playing the non active waiting game. Tomorrow is my appointment and I'm pretty sure my doctor will want to induce. He's on call this weekend so we could have a baby as early as then! We will see.
Disappointed I didn't go on my own...I know there's still time but I'm doubting it more and more each day. I'm not too bummed though. I'm just ready to meet my little booger!

@Danizaur: don't fret mama- I didn't go on my own either time, and it didn't matter a bit to me once I was holding my babies. You'll get to hold your little bug in your arms very soon!

Baby GIRL!!!!! Successful vbacand nursing.
Yesterday's Membrane sweep totally worked! Went into labour at 845 last night and baby was born 1124 this morning.
Her name is Sadie. 9 lbs 4 oz

@erinpye: I'm much more relaxed now than I was a few weeks ago. I was so stressed about an induction but now I don't care how I get my baby...I just want him here. And if an induction means sooner then GREAT! Lol. Can't wait for my appointment tomorrow!

@Danizaur: Thanks for updating the list!! We just are in love! I'll have to catch up with this thread after I catch up w sleep, but it's fun to see us getting out list filled out! My story us pretty much up, but I'll post a gold later, maybe with photos

Got barely any sleep last night... was getting contractions pretty much every 10 minutes the whole night... I wonder if LO was waiting cos DH had a 'man headache' and I still haven't finished tidying the study yet... hopefully that is all done today and LO can get the show on the road... cos I don't think I can take another night of 10 minute interval sleeps.

Little baby boy M has joined us! 8 1/2 hours of labour (six of which were spent labouring at home), water birth with gas as pain relief - pretty much exactly what we'd hoped for!
Will update when I have more energy - right now this mama is absolutely knackered and has a sleeping baby so is going to do the same.

One very unhappy little lad this morning and one very tired mama... Having some feeding and sleeping issues. Just waiting for DH to get back to birthing centre so he can take some shifts and I can sleep!

I will be induced tomorrow morning!! Fingers crossed he makes his appearance tomorrow on his due date. I wanted that to be his birthday all along so I'm excited!!!

@Danizaur: looks like we'll be together then if LO doesn't come out on her own today. I'm exhausted. I've had contractions going on 54 hours now.

Saw my doc today at 39w4d. Next appointment is Monday at 40w1d. Her minimum induction date is 41w0d and max is 41w3d, so the latest possible birthday is March 5th (unless I'm in labor for a super long time and it bleeds into the 6th, ugh!).
My doula offered to give me some suggestions to get things moving. I'm going to call her tomorrow and then start implementing some strategies after my massage appointment tomorrow afternoon!

I've been so busy with Noah along with trying to finish up my two classes which finals are coming up and my poor baby had his circumcision today but he's been taking it well so far.
I have to caught up on everything when finals are done but congrats to all you ladies and babies

Very chilled out baby currently resting on me after having a tongue tie corrected this afternoon. Poor wee sausage was very dehydrated due to poor feeding (middle of summer soaring temperatures here) so he's had a teensy feed of formula but that has been enough to crash him out for a good three and a half hours so far. Hope that makes our journey easier from here on out.

@IcebergMom: Yup!! It's hard to guess sometimes when people say Yesterday because of time zones! Lol! When I get up and eat breakfast I will post a new list. It'll be a busy day for me!

Ouch! I've forgotten how much it hurts getting Breastfeeding established again. Hands up for sore nipples?!?!
@Danizaur: hooray! Another baby for the list. Congratulations. My c section recovery with my first baby went really well. If you have any questions, let me know if I can help.
@SweetMamaM: how did you discover the tongue tie? Amazing you got it taken care of so quick! Awesome.

@IcebergMom: Yes to the sore nipples, ugh! I thought it wouldn't be as painful the second time around...but it was! And then factor in the afterbirth cramps that I never had with my first, but were excruciating with this baby. Yeah, BF'ing was not fun to establish the second time around! Fortunately, the cramps only lasted a few days and now two and a half weeks in, there is almost no soreness when LO latches on, thank goodness. Hope it all gets better for you soon!

@Honeygold89: she did hurry up. I went from 5cm dilated to having a baby in 1 hour. Have put the details up on the feb arrivals board.
@Ree723: oh the bf pain. All the midwives said she was latching great except one I just saw. The one that takes my pain away I think I'll kiss her!!

@IcebergMom: he was a super-lethargic feeder - even his first feed wasn't that great. All I can say is that the midwives here are amazing (my birthing centre is completely midwife and nurse-practitioner run), the lactation expert happened to be my day-care midwife on Day 2 (they assign you a primary midwife in the centre each shift as well as your own midwife who does all your pre/postnatal visits) and my own midwife (known over here as your lead maternity carer) is actually also the birthing centre's "snipper" so she did it night of Day 2.
They also have a permanent hotline through to the paeds at the regional hospital so they can get higher-level advice, that's how my little lad ended up with his two cup feeds of formula. Not ideal but at least his blood sugars came back up and he stopped fighting the boobies! We're up to four successful feeds now although I'm still needing a lot of help. And so is he! Lucky that we get to stay here as long as we want. We'll definitely be here for another night, probably two.
I'm such a total mum cliche right now, absolutely psyched that my boy let me have 4.5 hours of sleep overnight - and I woke up because I needed the loo! He's still fast asleep!

Finally the morning we leave after my insistence (thanks to hellobee) that LO had a tongue tie from the first time I fed her (three days and countless midwives ago) they finally agreed and are going to fix it hurrah! If only they listened in the beginning my nipples might not be scabbing over and I wouldn't be insanely jealous of the lady snoring in the next bed over whose baby slept the whole night only to feed when she was told too and easily!
