Still having loose BMs but no other labor signs. I go to the doctor tomorrow so I'm hoping that I'm at least dilating or effacing to explain the diarrhea. I hope even more that I go into labor today and miss the appointment all together. Haha!

@Danizaur: I'm hoping things kick up for you soon!
So at my appt things were pretty much the same still 3cm dilated and 75% effaced but she did another membrane sweep and I've been cramping since so when DH gets home we're going walking again today and I'm hoping he go ahead and come now due date tomorrow ugh 40 weeks but the good news is if he don't come by Monday they'll induce on Tuesday the 18th I'll be 40+6 so the end is very near yay!

@Danizaur: How are you feeling today? Saw that you were having false labor pains again. That must be awful, getting your hopes up and then nothing! Have they done a membrane sweep at the Dr.'s yet?
@Honeygold89: Yay for having a light at the end of the tunnel! I had LO #1 at 40+3 so I know the feeling of every day you go over it's like torture.
nectarine / 2527 posts
@lavender: yes it's a great feeling to know he'll definitely be here by next wed plus DH say if he doesn't come between now and the weekend we'll just have one more fun/ date weekend since we originally didn't plan anything for v-day since we knew it was close to our due date

@Honeygold89: @Danizaur: I'm closely stalking for you two to post baby announcements! Hang in there- it's so soon!

@lavender: Same.
Not yet. I'd say they probably will tomorrow!
@Honeygold89: Woohoo!!! Not long now!

Had my appointments with the obstetrician's registrar and midwife - blood pressure is still down so they aren't going to race into inducing me at 40 weeks if it stays down, but both midwife and registrar would prefer that baby comes earlier while BP is still low.
Baby is posterior positioned at the moment, even after a week of forward-sitting and side-lying, so yesterday evening I just sat like a normal person on the couch - rebel, I know. Going for a swim today but if that doesn't turn baby, I'm giving up and just having this baby in a posterior position. Not worth stressing over!
Have had my show and a couple of minor twinges but nothing to get excited about. Don't think I'll be giving my husband a baby for Valentine's Day but I've always had the 17th in my head so it would be crazy if I had baby that day!
Oh, and we finally agreed on a girl's name... Talk about leaving it up to the wire!
nectarine / 2527 posts
@Danizaur: yes it is. Every since leaving the doc and her doing the membrane sweep I've been having crazy cramps, pressure, and contractions but the contractions have been all over the place so nothing make me think this is it but I the sweep might have gotten things started we'll see
@SweetMamaM: yay for you BP and boo for baby not being heads down but maybe there's still time. Great that you guys agreed on a name!
pear / 1743 posts
@Honeygold89: baby is head down (not breech), just back to front so to speak. Only 5% of posterior births require assisted delivery anyway - the rest either turn in the pelvis as they descend or mother's pelvis can handle the birth of the head the wrong way round.

I've gone pregnancy insane. I posted about it here:
boards.hellobee.com/topic/okay-the-pregnancy-has-finally-cracked-me
Just a quick update. Had a lot of BH this evening but that's nothing new. Had a mental breakdown (see above) and STILL having diarrhea. Not as often, but 3 times today. I usually don't even go #2 more than once (if that) a day. But going on day 3 I don't know what it means anymore.
Doctor appt tomorrow. Hope he can magically hand me my baby tomorrow otherwise I don't wanna go. He will probably offer to induce me but I've already decided to decline unless there's a medical need for baby or I for him to come out now. Even though these last few days have literally driven me NUTS.
I'll update again after the appointment. sad smile.

I'm thinking of all of you ladies, especially you @Danizaur: and @Honeygold89: as your due dates rapidly approach! Hang in there, the end is in sight!
@SweetMamaM: Hoping little baby turns on its way down to make it easier for you!
I can't wait to see the rest of the Feb arrivals - we had an influx at the beginning of the month and I have a feeling whoever goes next is going to start another wave of babies!

@Ree723: I feel that way too! It's only going to take 1 to start a domino effect!
I hope I'm in that line of dominoes!!!

@Danizaur: aw poor momma hang in there try to ask if he'll do a membrane sweep on you but warning it's very uncomfortable but I think the one I had today (2nd one) is doing things for me I've been having pressure, cramps, and contractions since my appt at 11:30. I haven't been timing them though but I can tell their different than the ones I've been having.
nectarine / 2527 posts
@Ree723: I'm hoping the same but I think I'm rounding the corner now so we'll see
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
@Honeygold89: I'm definitely going to ask if he doesn't offer. My sister told me it was really intense when she had it done, so I remember thinking I may opt out of it, but now I'm ready for the discomfort if it means it may help start labor!
pomegranate / 3204 posts
@Danizaur: good luck at your appointment today!
@Honeygold89: When did you get your first membrane sweep? I'm thinking of asking for one at my 39 week appt Monday.
nectarine / 2527 posts
@Springtime: last Thursday at 39 weeks.
So looks like baby Noah wants to arrive on time he should be here today. I got admitted this morning. I got here around 5 and at first check I was still 3cm and 75% efface so when they came back to check two hours later I was 4cm 80% so I'm here to stay until baby gets here. I'm excited and nervous at the same time

@Honeygold89: GOOD LUCK GOOD LUCK! I'm so excited! I'm living through you!

@Honeygold89: Good luck mama!
@Danizaur:@Springtime: I had 2 membrane sweeps with #1 and they were really uncomfortable but not too painful. And I had them done at 39 and 40 weeks.

@Danizaur: @lavender: thank just got my water broke and I'm at 6cm it's seems to be moving quick

@Honeygold89: Sounds like it's going smoothly and quickly! I can't wait for N to be here! Hoping for a smooth labor and delivery for you.
nectarine / 2527 posts
@Danizaur: it is so far and I'm still unmediated so far. Let me tell you when you start having real contractions you will definitely tell the difference but mines aren't too bad so far I hope your go the same.

@Honeygold89: lol good to know. I can't wait for them. GIVE ME ALL THE CONTRACTIONS!!

About to get ready for my doctors appointment. In higher spirits today than yesterday. I did tell DH though that if the doctor tells me I'm not dilated I may just start to cry even though I know it doesn't really mean anything. If I am dilated I will probably just read into it too much and work myself up again.
But I really think I might. Haha I just don't want another reminder that I'm not close!
I had a couple of new contractions today! Felt like gas pains/cramps, but no gas. Really hurt. I don't typically have period cramps in the front...only in my back so I don't really know what I'm expecting when I hear people say that they feel like period cramps. Maybe that was it? Oh well. They didn't stay around.
pomegranate / 3706 posts
@Honeygold89: yay! Go mama go!
@Danizaur: I'm so sorry. I completely understand being so over. it. If you're dilated at all, definitely get the sweep. It's honestly not bad at all, just uncomfortable. But, they're already up there checking on things, and that's not exactly comfortable anyway, so might as well. Keep us posted!
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
Do you wanna hear the saddest news ever? Not dilated or thinned at all!! I didn't cry though. Lol.
He said he doesn't feel comfortable inducing me with no changes so I go back in a week! Which is what I wanted to hear. Next week he will for sure schedule me for an induction though if I haven't gone into labor on my own. I don't want one but he feels like its best to not let me go over much further. He didn't want to do a membrane sweep. I asked. Said with no progress he didn't think it would do any good. We are just in for another week of waiting (hopefully less!).
pear / 1743 posts
@Danizaur: I'm sorry to hear that you haven't progressed. No baby here as a Valentine's Day present for hubby either - he'll have to be happy with the phone case he received LOL. In some ways it glad they don't do pelvic exams here until 40 weeks, I can imagine how disheartening it would be. And hey, on the bright side, they don't want to let you go over! With my blood pressure back down there's a chance that they'll let me go over 40 weeks, which means yay no hospital birth but boo might have to wait longer for baby!
@Honeygold89: yay mama! I find the difference between the medical systems so interesting... If I showed up at the birthing centre at 3cm, they would probably encourage me to go home for a while! Fingers crossed that baby arrives soon!

Dr appt today...dilated to a one and could feel the baby's head! I could go any day or 3 weeks from now. Oh...the anticipation. Fluid and measurements were good on sonogram, and he thinks she weighs about 6 lb 1 oz. My EDD is March 8 but sono said I'm measuring at 38 weeks.
My ob is going on vacation on my due date so we might talk induction then if I haven't popped...BUT he had me schedule the rest of my appointments out and didn't bother scheduling me for the last one because he's pretty sure I'll have her the last week in February. Yay!

Ok baby, please stay put today! You really don't want a Valentine's Day birthday! It's your mom's least favorite holiday and it will add confusion to your dating life. Plus I still haven't packed my hospital bag or finished the taxes. And my doula is away so I will be stuck with her backup. If you could just simply hold out until Tuesday I would be so very grateful. Thanks kiddo!
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
@ElbieKay: I really don't want a valentines baby either! Also tomorrow is my nephews first birthday and I don't want T to share a birthday with him. The 18th, 19th, and 21st are special days for me so they would make good birthdays, but at this point if I went into labor right now I would cry of happiness. Haha!
