It's a GIRL!!!! Charlotte Rose arrived at 8:30 am on Wednesday the 5th of Feb! A quick 6.5 hour labour with an epidural that only partially worked but she's here and she's perfect! More updates coming soon.

Yay this is so excited for all the feb babies to be coming I can't wait to see who's next. I hope my LO waits a little but at the same time I'm so ready to hold him but I got a midterm Thursday and one on Monday so I hope he waits til after then.

I was a little disappointed when he first told me, but honestly, I was so tired and not feeling good that I just wanted to meet her asap. I was first in line to the OR, so we just went in and did it! There ended up being 3 more c sections after me, so I was lucky I didnt have to wait.
So Lillian Adele was born at 4:52. She was 8lb 14oz, 21 in long! She ended up having low blood sugar because of her size and had to be whisked away for the meconium and to get her blood sugar levels tested. So for about 4 hours I didn't get to see her, except for about 20 min we did skin to skin and tried to latch, but she wasn't having it.
But I finally got to see her and hold her at about 830pm! She's so cute and her blood sugar levels have stabilized from a little formula syringe. We got her to latch on and it seems like she's doing really well with it! I need some practice though.
We are so happy and exhausted. Looking forward to this new adventure!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: Congratulations, Mama! I really love Lillian as a name! We considered it but it doesn't "go" with our last name. I'm glad it all worked out in the end and you're both doing well. What a big girl!

Feeling better today! I had a heavy dinner last night before bed and no low blood sugar feeling this morning. I also slept AMAZINGLY! Probably because between the blood sugar test and the blood draw they did at the doctor, I was completely drained. Haha!
Glad to be feeling better. I still have my appointment tomorrow to get the results from my blood draw and just as a regular check up. They checked me yesterday and no cervical changes. Whomp whomp.

Babymouse is here! Born yesterday at 5:05 PM. ITS A BOY! 6.6 lbs and 19.5 in. Labor was 12 hrs, 2 hrs active, no epi! Will fill in more details soon!

I made a prediction last week that I would have him within a week just by how I was feeling. Nope! Wrong-o! -
@Danizaur: I feel bad because everyone seems so perky and excited, waiting for their babies (real life, not just bee life) and I just want bebe to be here so that I can do normal people things like sit in a recliner and lie on my back. I'm sure the thrilled emotions will kick in when bebe arrives but I really can't pretend that this part of pregnancy is a magical time when I don't feel like it is.

For those who aren't Gold: Baby Boy Koala was born on February 3 at 11:55 pm. He's a chunker at 9 lb 5 oz and 21 inches. I still don't know how all of him was inside of me. It's surreal. We are seriously in love with him but working on the adjustment part of things!

Had my 39 week apt today and I did progress some I'm now at 3cm dilated and 75% effaced so she did a membrane sweep and I hope it helps but if not I go back on Wednesday and she say we will then talk about setting up an induction by 41 weeks so not long at all but I hope he comes on his own by next Thursday, I have been having cramps and slight contractions off and on since she did the sweep this morning so wish me luck.

@Mrs Music: I'm with you, yet! Stay cooking, little one! DH's family is CONVINCED I'll go tomorrow? But he and I are both thinking it will be at least next week, if not actually due date or after. I'm still nice and high, she hasn't dropped, I'll get checked tomorrow for dilation and effacement, but we know the date of conception so our EDD is truly accurate (so far as EDDs actually measure arrival) but it's not like we're dealing with a poorly guessed date. I want her to be at least 39 weeks if I can help it, but I'm good through 41w3d.

Whoa! Baby has dropped since chiropractor this morning! Hope that a) baby is not posterior any more (think it may have turned ROA) and that b) baby stays down! My belly looks so weird now!

Adrienne Victoria, 7 lbs 7.4oz, 19.5 in long, was born at 6:30 PM, after an insane 5 hr labor, today, 2/6/14. It was a little scary: water was broken and contractions came long and hard- went from a 3 to a 10 that quickly. I tested pos for PIH, got an epi and they gave me a super low dose of pitocin. The epi wore off twice (OUCH) and then I only pushed through 4 contractions to deliver. Had scary high BP for a while after, clots and hemorrhaging, my whole body shook like a leaf for a few hours, but it's all calming down now and my beautiful girl is here!

Still pregnant today! Told DH I'm not going to the hospital next time until I'm in some intense "can't-stand-it" pain so I know 100% sure I'm in labor. This time the hospital experience was sucky (i think because I started to see my contractions slow down as soon as we got there so I got grumpy. Also the nurse wouldn't let me have any water and it felt like she used knives to check my cervix) and I don't want to do that again!! But they did do an NST on the baby while I was there and he is looking perfect still. So that is always nice to hear!
Good news is my dog had a great sleepover at my grandmothers house at least. He's back home now and napping. She has a dog he loves to play with so it's always an adventure for him! And she spoils him with treats. We also set up a better plan with her on how to get him to her next time we go to the hospital. So "silver lining" I guess.
