    @MrsKoala: that's exciting! Hoping this is it for you!

    Well I woke up at 2am with contractions and they got pretty consistent at 7-8 min apart but then totally stalled and now have stopped. I went to my Dr appt as usual and he said to go walking and see if it brings back the contractions. And if they pick up again, to go back in to see if I've gotten to a 3. If there's no more contractions, then I go in tonight to get cervidil placed and check into the hospital.

    Just finished walking for 1.5 hours and omg, so difficult. Going home now to eat lunch and try to sleep. I was so hopeful this morning. Sigh.

    @MrsKoala: Ahh good luck, mine was the same, but it started 2 days before I went into labor.

    I can't wait for more announcements!k

    Another note, R just came back from a weight check and haven't made it back to her birth weight yet. We have another check on Thursday. It was so disappointing when I found out she hasn't gained enough yet. We are nursing every 2 hrs during the day and going no more than 4 at night. Started pumping today so hopefully that'll help, if not I think the ped will have me start supplementing with formula at her next weight check.

    @abbydabbydoodlebug: I'm having a similar thing happen over here. Contractions that picked up and now are just slowing down to nothing. UGH. I hope your walk after lunch will help get things going for you. If not, induction tonight! YAY!

    @lavender: Giving me more hope that this might be the real deal soon. Hope R gets back up to her birth weight soon and that you don't have to supplement.

    @icebergmom - Ha! On the fear about a VBAC - I'm the same way! Gorgeous photo by the way - we have cold weather here, it just doesn't look that pretty!

    Hang in there @danizaur, I have a feeling it will happen for you soon!

    Ramping back up again here. Contractions 8 minutes apart. I think I'm going to call it. Early labor! WOO HOO!

    @lavender: could you also supplement with pumped milk? That's what we've been doing since LO was early.

    @raintreebee: that's the plan... Hopefully my milk supply comes in fully soon!

    @MrsKoala: woo-hoo! Good luck mama!

    @abbydabbydoodlebug: how'd the walk go?

    @MrsKoala: hooray! Hope they stick around!

    @lavender: The walk itself was horrendous, lol. So painful and slow. I've had maybe a couple contractions, but not enough for me to think that anything is for sure happening. I think we are just going to go straight to the hospital tonight and get the cervidil placed.

    I've been trying to nap this afternoon, but my cats are like Velcro to me, lol. My male cat even tried to lay on my head! Haha. They must know what's up.

    I'm both nervous and excited to be finally at a place to make this girl come out! It's pretty surreal.

    Been in early labor since Fri AM- contractions have been as close as 4 mins apart, but spaced back out after an hour or two. Lots of back labor, not sleeping, dilated to a 3 today, so looks like tomorrow doc will induce to help me along, if the hospital has room, and I don't go on my own first.

    @lavender: they're supposed to give baby 2 weeks to get back to birth weight. She'll get there!

    @abbydabbydoodlebug: So exciting you know the end is in sight! You'll be cuddling your sweet girl by tomorrow, yay!

    @MrsKoala: Just the update I was hoping for when I woke up this morning! Are they still 8 minutes apart?

    @erinpye: My goodness, you poor thing, you just can't seem to get a break with this pregnancy! Hoping the real labour picks up, but at the very least, the hospital has room for you to be induced tomorrow!

    @lavender: I hope your LO starts putting the weight on... I'm surprised they want her back up to birth weight so quickly too. Here it's two weeks before they start talking about supplementation. Regardless, I'm sure she'll plump back up in no time!

    So there are definitely things going on this morning. I thought I may have had a bit of the bloody show yesterday, but wasn't sure; well, this morning there is no doubt about it! Only feeling the mildest of contractions when I'm actually paying attention to them but hoping this baby comes today (it's only 10:00 am here). DD was born on her due date and I'd love if this one was born on its due date too, just because I'm totally Type A like that!

    @abbydabbydoodlebug: @MrsKoala: @erinpye: @Ree723: good luck! Lets hope that in the next day or 2 we will have 4 new babies to celebrate!!

    As much as I would love for my LO to come soon... my mum is actually going away for a week on Sunday so now I have to start praying that baby won't come for another 3 weeks at least!!! Have started mat leave now and spent yesterday crazy cleaning and today have a stiff neck, shoulders and back (although probably more to do with sleeping than cleaning...)

    @lavender: she'll pick that weight up and your milk supply will kick in in no time try not to worry.

    @MrsKoala: good luck and fingers cross for you mama.

    @abbydabbydoodlebug: yay and congrats on having your baby girl in your arms very very soon!

    @erinpye: yay good luck during your labor and welcoming your baby girl into the world!

    @Ree723: yay good luck to you I hope your baby comes too lol I'm so excited about the TG babies.

    @Mrs Music: yay for mat leave starting try to relax tomorrow.

    So I've been checking in all day but haven't been able to really comment since last night I realized I have my sociology mid-term Friday and a math test. I'm ready for the math but the sociology totally slipped my mind so I'm trying to cram. I was so ready for Noah to come this week but now I'm like oh no wait til next week lol but it's funny cause DH is on call this week and actually wants to finish this week first so he say next week too lol. I've still been having back labor and contractions off and on too but nothing that makes me think it's time. Doc appt on Thursday so we'll see what the progress is looking like

    In a lot of pain this morning. A combo of dull low back pain and crampy sharp front pains. No contractions. LO is also pushing down really hard and causing some intense pressure.

    Unfortunately I'm pretty sure this is just labor prep and not the real deal since there's no contractions and it eases up some when I get up out of bed. But I'm desperately trying to get some sleep. Lol

    I'm sorry everyone is feeling the pain! Why can't we just wake up with cute babies in our arms. screw the work!

    Quiet day here. I imagine I'll get to my 40 weeks. Hope so cause DH is sneaking away for a quick 2 night snowboarding trip tomorrow. Just at the same time LO has developed a little head cold. runny nose and small cough. Nothing serious. But she did wake up abnormally early. Every half hour starting at 430 then I got up w her at 6 for the day. (Normally it's more like 73o). It's a 2 cup of coffee day!

    Oh my goodness, I don't log in often enough. So exciting! Yay for all the babies arriving

    Still feeling good here. Very active baby. Some lower back pain. Even more Braxton Hicks (but I've been having them since 20 weeks or earlier). Baby's still head down, and I think they've dropped, but other than that nothing's happening. 37 week appointment tomorrow. I'm thinking this ginormous snowstorm we're expecting could (inconveniently) start something...;)

    Not feeling so well. Last few mornings my blood sugar has been low when I wake up and I don't feel much better after eating this morning. Dr wants me to come in today and get checked out so I have an appointment in a couple of hours. I don't have diabetes but have had low blood sugar issues in the past, but it hasn't been a problem so far this pregnancy or even in the last couple of years.

    LO is still moving like normal so I'm not too worried, but I can't wait to get checked out.

    Ok, this is such a stupid second time mum question, but how do I know if my water just broke? {TMI alert} I got up to use the loo, had a fair amount of CM as per normal, wiped it all away, and as I was washing my hands, I felt more leakage. I wiped again and it was more liquid than CM, but not urine. Whatever, went back to bed and as I sat down on the bed, a small gush of leakage came out - not loads but almost as though I had started peeing myself. It also happened to occur during a moderately strong contraction. As I was wiping away, a bit more liquid leaked out, but now I'm laying down and it seems ok. As a test, I just got up to pee again and the same thing happened. I took a sniff, gross, I know, but they say amniotic fluid smells sweet, and this does, but I'm just not sure.

    Of course it is 2:30 am here and DH just left for work 20 minutes ago (yes, his work hours blow). He works 45 minutes away and to come home, he'll need one of the guys to drive him back as he has a work truck and it needs to stay on site (he's an engineer). I am having moderate contractions about 8 minutes apart, not sure if I should call him yet or let things go for a while. Of course we also have our sleeping 19 month old daughter to think about right now as well.... Ugh, with DD, I had such a classic start to labour - there was absolutely no question about whether or not it was the real deal and we knew exactly when to go to hospital! Not so much this time!

    ETA: just after I posted this, I got hit with a monster contraction so I called DH and he is on his way back home. Now for when to call the hospital and when to call our friend who will be watching DD. Ugh, why don't babies just magically appear in our arms?!?

    @Ree723: have you called the Dr on call yet? Sounds like your water broke to me. And I would call DH.

    crazy night and morning! I only got about 2 hours sleep before contractions started up. I finally said uncle at about 330 because they were really intense and the floor was busy and I didn't want to miss it. It took 3 tries to place it and I ended up getting a hot spot on my hip and it was terrible! My water broke naturally about 30 minutes after the epi was placed and there is a little bit of meconium in it. Anyway, they tried all sorts of things to get my hot spot to go away but nothing was working, so I to get another one placed by a different Dr. This one actually worked! Thank God. I was able to sleep solidly for a little bit. The only thing is that Lily is being particular about the level of pitocin and the contractions it's bringing. So they turned it off for a bit and now they have it at a 2. Pretty much they said it'll be a low and slow labor. My Dr is coming to check me in a little while and hopefully I've progressed!

    @abbydabbydoodlebug: Good luck!!

    So much excitement! I'll post an updated list later on since we have so many potential arrivals!

    I'm about to leave to go to the doctor. I still don't feel so well but I've talked myself into that I'm just being silly and wasting my doctors time. My sister is hoping they are going to monitor me and just keep me until I have the baby. I told her I really doubt it. I'm probably in for a blood draw and a "rest and eat often" and sent back home.

    @Ree723: sounds like it to me! i remember when my water broke with baby #2 it didn't seem like A LOT A LOT like I was expecting. Just a gush of lukewarm liquid.

    @Ree723: yay another TG baby I on the way! I think you should call the hospital and your friend if you haven't already. Congrats and good luck!

    @abbydabbydoodlebug: glad they got the epi to work better I hope it doesn't go too slow for you good luck and congrats you'll be holding her no later than tonight hopefully

    Woohoo! Here come more Feb babies! Good luck, @abbydabbydoodlebug: @Ree723: @MrsKoala: @erinpye:!

    My legs/feet have started to swell now..boo! Thankfully it's only really bad in the evenings, but they had me come in for a BP check today. Told me it was still in a good range, especially since I'm not dizzy or throbbing, etc, and said to go put my feet up at home. Welllll, I have to go to work, so we compromised and I'm sitting in my office right now in one of my client chairs with my feet on the other and my laptop on my legs. Closed my door to hide from other attorney's clients as they walk by. Ha! Good thing we've started weeding out my face-to-face appointments.

    Blood sugar was 60 which is pretty low and BP was elevated just a bit. They did some labs and I come back on Thursday to get the results. Told me to eat more often and watch out for any other signs that I may be coming down with something. Still feeling the same...out of it and lethargic.

    looks like it's going to be a c section. I'm just not progressing fast enough and baby is getting tired and I'm developing a low grade fever. Plus they think she's big and can't get low enough too. Oh well. I'm just ready for it to be done. I'm starving.
