I really want to join in, but am still SUPER nervous because we just got the positive yesterday. I'll probably be more active on here once we have our first U/S.
@mrskoala: how far along are you now?

Wow, already!? I'm due January 26 so it's possible I could haven't a February baby!
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@citymouse: I'm 4 weeks and 2 days right now! EDD February 6. Totally understand why you'd want to wait! I'm nervous, too!
@Navy_Mommy: I know, right?!? I could easily be January, too! I might hang out on the Jan 14 boards for a bit until more ladies get their BFPs!
nectarine / 2458 posts
I hope it isn't a February baby, lol. DS was 6 days early, so hopefully this baby will be too (i hate being pregnant, lol)

@MrsKoala: Do you have an U/S appt yet? I just made ours today. Was hoping to go in before July, but none of their openings worked with DH's class/work schedule. We are on vaca the first month of July, so our appt is on July 8th! We should be around 9 weeks by then, so hopefully we will be able to see more on the screen!

Ahh! Already?! I'm a Feb 2013 mama - I can't believe it's already time for the 2014 thread. Congrats ladies... February is a great month for babies!

@citymouse: No appointments yet. I got my BFP and then had a five day work trip and then vacation for 9 days so I haven't called my office yet to schedule anything! I know that I have to see a midwife or nurse practitioner first before I see the OB. I'm hoping to get an appt around the end of June.

@Cara M. 17: @PhotoJane: Thank you!!
@MrsKoala: I have to see a Midwife as well, although Im hoping they will be the ones delivering the baby anyway! Have you been cramping? Today is my missed period and all the cramping is terrifying!!
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@citymouse: Yes! I feel a lot of pulling and cramping, too. Occasionally, it feels like AF cramping but sometimes it's a sharp pain. I have a stabbing pain in my boobs every now and then and I'm starting to feel a little nauseous if I wait too long to eat. I'm also not sleeping well. Any other symptoms for you?
persimmon / 1116 posts
@MrsKoala: No stabbing pains anywhere really, but my nips are SUPER sensitive and kind of just hurt all the time haha. Im not sleeping well either! I also feel a little weird if I dont eat and drink enough. Its like hunger now feels a little bit like nausea.
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@citymouse: I definitely hear the hunger/nausea thing. I feel sick if I wait too long to eat!! Even though I have these symptoms, I just don't feel pregnant if that makes sense.

@citymouse: glad to see you're not hesitating to jump in here
@MrsKoala: I'm hanging in, thanks Now that we have to wait again, I'm counting down the days until I can re-join one of these threads...hopefully later in the summer!
Hope the nausea treats you both kindly. This pregnancy thing is crazy. At one point, I think I told DH that the saltines tasted spicy...wow, hormones. Just wow.

@MrsKoala: I know what you mean about not really feeling pregnant yet. Im not sure when I will! My friend encouraged me to visualize what is happening and that has been helping a lot!
@LovelyPlum: Oh man, that is so funny! Hormones are weird! Hoping the time passes quickly for you!

Hi ladies, I'm cautiously stepping in here as I think I may be joining you with a February baby. We aren't sure of our dates yet but I think it may be around Feb 2nd. We have an 11.5 month old daughter and were NTNP for our second, but didn't really think we'd be successful until we stopped BF'ing completely. I took a test on a whim on Wednesday and it came up with a super dark positive right away!
I have a doctor's appointment later today and I would imagine she'll send me for a dating scan as we honestly have no idea when we conceived! The digital said we're 3+ weeks past conception (meaning more than 5 weeks pregnant) but we had a negative test on May 25, so I'm trying to narrow it down from there!
Anyway, we're super excited as our ideal age gap for kids was 18-22 months and this should put us right around a 20 month gap. Hoping everyone else is doing well and we get some more Feb babies soon!

@Ree723: YAY!! Congrats! I hope you have a Feb due date! I think @MrsKoala is 3 weeks past conception? Im 2 weeks and her (guesstimate) due date is 5 days before mine, also a guesstimate! Let us know how the appt goes!
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@Ree723: welcome!!! I assumed you'd be Jan but I hope you are a Feb mama! I got my first positive on May 26 and my edd is Feb 6 so it makes sense that you'd be the 2nd as I just got to 5 weeks yesterday! Update us on the appointment! So excited for you!!
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@LovelyPlum: glad to hear that you are hanging in there!! I know you are taking a break but I wanted to let you know how hard I'm rooting for you!!
@citymouse: scratch the not feeling pregnant thing. I feel like garbage today. Stomach feels horrible and food looks unappealing. Wah wah.

@citymouse: @MrsKoala: @Lindsay05: Thanks ladies, you're all very sweet! Unfortunately, I'm not so sure this little baby is going to be a sticky one so I might be tempering my excitement for a bit.
I had my drs appt yesterday afternoon and because my dates are all over the place, she sent me for a dating scan that afternoon. Based on my LMP, I could have been as far as 8 weeks, but I was 90% sure that was not the case. I didn't really notice O this month so I am going solely off my pregnancy tests and the times we BD'd. My digital on Wednesday said 3+ weeks since conception, meaning more than five weeks pregnant. That would coincide with our BD session and when I should have O'd if I was to have another six week cycle like my two previous cycles. Based on those things, I was guessing I'd be about 5w5d or somewhere around there. Well, at my scan yesterday afternoon (Friday), the technician couldn't really see much and just said that I am maybe 5w0d at best. Now granted it was only a transabdominal scan and they're not super reliable for pregnancies less than six weeks, but I think the gestational sac should have at least measured several days bigger than it did. Also, five weeks exactly would really be stretching it as we didn't BD around then, our last session being five days before that....
So long story short, the technician just said it's too early, but I'm starting to feel as though maybe this one won't be a sticky baby. I haven't felt the slightest bit pregnant, no sore boobs (despite still BF'ing), no exhaustion, no cramping - none of the things I had last time, so I'm starting to prepare myself for this not working out.
Sorry for the Debbie downer post but I just wanted to update you. I'm not going to worry about it for right now - I'll keep living as though I am pregnant (because I am for now) and if it doesn't work out, so be it. We'll just try again in a few months.
Anyway, how is everyone else doing? @mrskoala: I'm sorry to hear you're feeling rough today and food is not sounding appealing at all! Boo to that :-(. Hopefully it's a very short lived thing!
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@Ree723: Awww I hope this will be a sticky pregnancy but I can see why you don't want to get your hopes up. As for the BD timing, the only day we got was four days before O so five is possible!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I'm feeling slightly better so hopefully feeling sick was just a passing thing!
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@MrsKoala: I know! The first few weeks may drag, but then time will fly, don't worry!
@Ree723: fyi I had my first scan at around that time and was measuring a few days behind (3-4) and that didn't line up with our bd timing either. Well 2 weeks later I had more than caught up and was right in line with where I thought I should be (actually a little ahead! I hope the same happens for you, I'll be keeping my fx!

@MrsKoala: Oh no!! Im so sorry youre not feeling great. Even though it comes with the territory it still sucks!
@Pirouette: Thank you!!
@Lindsay05: Are you a Feb 2014 Mama too??
@Ree723: Oh, Im sorry the appt didn't go as you had hoped!! Also understand trying to bate your excitement. Im still hoping this is a sticky baby for you guys!!

Hi! I *think* I'm due around Feb. 8th, but it could be a few weeks earlier. We find out for sure at our first ultrasound on July 1. Second baby for us
grapefruit / 4819 posts
@MrsKoala: Thank you for the reassurance! Interesting that you had a four day gap and were successful, maybe there is hope for a five day gap!
@Pirouette: Thank you sooooo much for that! I've been consulting google an awful lot and there seem to be so many stories out there saying the same thing, so I've got my fingers crossed for an outcome like yours!
@citymouse: Thank you! The sticky baby wishes are appreciated!
@erinpye: Congrats! I remember you from WB (sorry if that makes me sound like a stalker!). If our little one sticks around, it will be our second baby as well. And if the scan from yesterday is correct, our EDD will be Feb 8th as well.

I cautiously want to join I got my BFP Friday at 11 dpo and an even darker one today! But according to my app my EDD is feb 13 how exciting but I will definitely be giving my doc a ring tomorrow because I have an appt setup Thursday to get a tooth pulled and not sure if its safe and I already had a MC in late march at 6 going on 7 weeks and don't want to harm this one in anyway. So hey to you all and I'm sending my sticky thoughts for us all

Thanks @REE723! How fun to potentially have a due date twin. (not a stalker at all! It's flattering to be remembered! haha)
@citymouse--thanks!
Congrats, my fellow Feb mamas!

@erinpye: Congratulations and welcome! I hope that you are a February mama (we need more!!!).
@Honeygold89: I definitely understand the caution! I hope this is a sticky baby! Congrats!
