My EDD based on ovulation (my cycles are long-ish so I'm going by O since I think I know it) is 1/18/14
My first OB appt is 5/23 and is just with the RN and includes bloodwork and paperwork. My first appt with the doctor is 6/10.
I debated between a CNM and an OB, but I went with the doctor.

My EDD based on peak day (for CM-similar to dating based on O) is January 16.
First appt, my first, is May 30, though I have blood work tomorrow.
I am seeing a doctor, but a DO, not an MD. He's awesome

My EDD is Jan 3rd
First appt: might have been today, but I don't think it counts. I just went in and had blood work done. If that looks good it is May 28 at 10 am
I'm seeing a doctor. I have to because no one around me does VBAC's and I've already had two c-sections.

What appointment is next for you? I've had two rounds of bllodwork already but my next appointment is this Thursday (May 16th) for a dating ultrsound. I should have another appointment very shortly after that I'd imagine!
And for fun, Are you seeing a midwife or doctor? my practice is a mix of both. I'll also see a peri, neurologist, and pediatric cardiologist...yay being high risk

What appointment is next? Tomorrow for my annual exam. May 12 for first OB
I'm sticking with my usually lady doctor, she has gotten me this far.

EDD: As of now, January 4th
Next appointment: my first appointment is June 12th! Such a long wait!!!
I go to a practice with 2 OBs and 1 midwife, I am pretty sure I will have to see the OBs most since I am hoping to try for a VBAC, but I will hopefully see the midwife some too... We saw our midwife all through our first pregnancy and loved her! I was disappointed I needed a c-section and couldn't have her deliver!

Edd: 1/21.
I've had three blood draws so far. My scheduled (with the receptionist) appt is for June 27 (ten weeks) but there is no way it is going to stay that way because the dr told me after my m/c last year they will want to see me earlier.
I go to an MD and will have a high risk OB as well.
@cram88: I'm high risk because of autoimmune stuff

When is your EDD? January 8th if I go by ovulation date, January 10th if I go by last menstrual cycle.
What appointment is next for you? May 31st will be my first appointment. I haven't had any bloodwork or anything so this will be my initial meeting with the doctor, some labs, and an ultrasound.
And for fun, Are you seeing a midwife or doctor? The office I go to makes you see a doctor first and then you can pick. My annual exams are done by a midwife there and I really like her so I might stick with her.

I've been MIA on these boards! My schedule has been so crazy lately! Hope everyone is doing well!!
My first appt & ultrasound is June 3rd.....I'm so excited, but I seriously cannot kick the anxiety lately
I have been praying lots and doing my best to keep the faith, but the last couple days I have seriously been down. Every time I get excited I get so scared. Makes me sad! Maybe the hormones aren't helping? I'm just so anxious to see this little bean in the right spot with a heartbeat! Any advice on how you're staying positive?

@pinkpeony921: I totally understand! I am afraid to get too excited for fear I will have a m/c. It is so nerve racking! The only thing I do that kind of helps is to tell myself the odds are in my favor. Only 10% of confirmed pregnancies end in miscarriage. So even though it seems like I've heard of a lot happening , the odds are I won't. I don't know if that helps, but that's the only thing I've thought of!

I forgot to add my due date- My doctors office asked me my LMP of course, so the nurse on the phone said 1/12. I have 35-40 day cycles though so I'm not so sure about that date! I guess I'll go with that until it is confirmed otherwise!

I am a little nervous about jumping on here. I just got my BFP Sunday & I am 3wks 4days. Its still REALLY early but all my labs today looked GREAT! My Dr. is out of town this week so I will meet with him next on 5/28 to recheck my levels and do my first prenatal visit. My EDD is January 30. As of now I'm sticking with my GP.

@pinkpeony921: I totally understand. I am a hot mess over here, especially since our scare last week. That, combined with low, dull, persistent cramping that constantly feels like it did before the m/c and a little spotting, and it is taking all of my willpower not to freak out *constantly.*
I'm trying, with varying degrees of success, to be thankful for everyday that I am pregnant. We have had 5 weeks 4 days so far with this little one, and I am so grateful. DH is cute too, he says good morning to me and baby first thing every day, and good night last thing every night. We pray a lot too. The miscarriage rate is high, it's true. My doc said it was closer to 30%, which is insane. But, that STILL means that over 70% of babies are carried to term. The odds are on our side, even when it seems like they aren't.
In the end, I know I'm freaking out more because o is entirely out of our hands. So keeping the faith is all we can do. That, and support each other. Hugs, lady. Hang in there, and know you're not alone!

Just wanted to pop in from the November boards! Congrats to all you ladies!! I know a few of you have had losses and trust me, I know how scary it can be. I had a m/c at 9 weeks last year and I was a mess this time. I went to the ER twice before 8 weeks (everything was fine both times). BUT I'm now 14 weeks with a healthy baby boy
The first trimester seems like foreverrrr but when you're out of it, it kinda seems like it went by fast.So excited for y'all!
