Another thing... I went from having no nipples to nipples & one of them seems like its splitting... is this normal too?

@MrsH: so sorry your having bad luck with MS. Take care not to get dehydrated. Hope you find relief soon.
nectarine / 2063 posts
@Navy_Mommy: my nipple cracked open. Maybe that's a better way to explain it. Its better now. I have no idea what that was all about but it sure hurt.

@MrsH: Yup! No puking so far, but I definitely developed morning sickness this week - there have been a few times where I was pretty convinced I wasn't going to keep my meals down!

I felt like total crap today. I was having that pressure feeling in my uterus again. It was kind of painful at one point. Similar to the feelings I was having in week 6. I'm 9 weeks now. Could it be a growth spurt maybe?
persimmon / 1331 posts
@abbydabbydoodlebug: I started getting crampy again too, and I am 10 weeks. No spotting or anything though, so I'm assuming its just the baby/uterus growing again. At least that's how I reassure myself!!
nectarine / 2636 posts
@Emsmems: Yeah, I haven't had any spotting either, which is good. I'm still crampy today, just slightly less so. I still feel like poop though! My DH has been really sweet recently. He even went grocery shopping for me yesterday.
only 3 more weeks of this first tri! Hope all the rest of the Jan mommies are hanging in there too!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: @Emsmems: I was crampy over the weekend too. Its no fun still a little crampy today & my lower back hurts too. I really just want to stay in bed today but I don't want to take time away from my sick leave. It takea me all month to earn that one day of leave time.

@Sugar.Biscuit: aww I'm sorry! I hope it goes away soon! That's how I feel too. Thankfully I don't have work today, but my house is a wreck and I have all these craft projects I need to get done. Yesterday was not productive at all because all I could do was lay in the couch and be uncomfortable. I try to just tell myself that plenty of women have gone through this and worse, so I can do it too!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: don't feel bad between bouts of puking I spent all weekend on the couch too.

@Sugar.Biscuit: My nipples do this even when I'm not pregnant sometimes. They get dry and kind of look like their about to crack. I've only had them actually get really raw but not cracked or split fully. Right now they are super dry. I use a light lotion at night! Hope this helps!
clementine / 957 posts
@MrsH: I'm sorry you're feeling so sick Hang in there!!
@abbydabbydoodlebug: @Emsmems: I'm getting some random uterus cramps here and there this past weekend, too. Might be a growth spurt since I'm 11wks tomorrow. No spotting though.
I've taken 3 sick days already but from pure exhaustion! My worst bouts of nausea are late at night and they keep me up, so by the time I pass out I get an hour of sleep. Luckily, my boss knows what's up and doesn't mind!
nectarine / 2636 posts
Well, I have officially crossed over... I threw up this morning while mashing bananas for banana bread. Before, I've just thrown up while brushing my teeth. I guess hooray? Lol. I do feel a little better after throwing up though!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: welcome to the club? Ugh, I so wish there wasn't a club. I feel accomplished I haven't puked in the past 24 hours.

I'm actually feeling pretty good lately, and I'm only estimated at 9w3d. But it makes me think I'm much closer to 10+ weeks because I'm not sure when I ovulated (my cycle was super irregular since I was still breastfeeding my son when I got pregnant). I guess I'll just have to see what they say at my appointment next Wednesday!

@Navy_Mommy: Hey we are date twins! At least, until you find out exactly at your next appointment.

How are you ladies feeling this week? I'm 11w2d and I am actually doing okay for the most part this week.
I feel like I've got a definite bump, although it is super tiny- it's enough to restrict most of my jeans. Some of my super low rise shorts work, but I've been wearing dresses and maxi skirts to work for the most part this week.
My nails are INCREDIBLE right now though! They're SO long and strong, they've never been this long and not broken which is awesome haha. Kind of makes up for the acne on my chest and face... haha.
nectarine / 2636 posts
@wahine08: omg I hate all this acne too! It sucks. Even my nieces noticed and were asking how I got my "boo boos"
pomegranate / 3275 posts
@wahine08 I'm starting to feel much better. The exhaustion is slowly going away (I don't want to go to bed at 4 in the afternoon)
Does anyone have weird poop? Like wake up at midnight because you have to go? Last night I woke up twice, to POOP! I couldn't believe it. It is probably due to the lack of BM during the day, but still I would rather be sleeping.... ugh
clementine / 957 posts
@abbydabbydoodlebug: My boss asked me if I was getting a rash from being pregnant haha. I thought that was kind of silly, considering she is a mom as well and probably knows about the acne! I guess it's because it's small bumps on my face and I am wearing mineral make up over it. Love feeling both 16 and 85 years old all at the same time haha.
@MamaBehr: I'm glad you're starting to feel better!! I DO have weird poop! The same thing happens to me but like 2 hours before I have to wake up for the day, which is really annoying. I'm sure it's something to do with not being able to go all day and your body finally relaxing or something. It's annoying but I'm glad I'm pooping again!

Hey Mamas!
I'm 12w today and I'm rounding the corner to 2nd tri! I'm so excited I can't even stand it.
My nausea is mostly gone, but the days it comes around it hits pretty hard. It's mostly like a feeling of indigestion and I can't lay down.. so I've been sleeping sitting up pretty much haha.
Anyone else feeling any relief as we get a little closer to the 2nd tri??
nectarine / 2063 posts
I think I might be experiencing my first real wave of nausea...yuck.
clementine / 957 posts
@Sugar.Biscuit: I'm sorry! Have you tried anything to help it subside? Honestly, for me- I just try to ride it out as long as possible before "doing" anything other than eating.
nectarine / 2063 posts
@wahine08: I ate a little extra breakfast this AM which has helped. Being at work with distractions helps too!
clementine / 957 posts
@Sugar.Biscuit: I've noticed that too! When I'm at work, I still feel yucky but not as bad as when I'm at home doing nothing. So weird haha

Nausea is down a bit, but now I am getting this extreme feeling of hunger. I get full rather quickly, but it's like the bottom of my stomach drops out 15 minutes after I eat, and I'm starving.
Other than that, I'm still dry-heaving like a champ, and my nipples are still pretty sore. I feel like my breasts are changing a bit, which is exciting.
persimmon / 1331 posts
@VEGMAMA: same! I have nausea still at times but it is greatly reduced from weeks past!! And yeah, starving, but can't eat much... but then starving again!
I feel like my belly popped out a bit in the last day or two. Breasts are always tender, but don't seem to have changed all that much. I didn't realize how big they had really gotten until I tried on one of my old swimsuits! YIKES! I looked like a porn star!!
nectarine / 2063 posts
I feel so uncomfortable! The last two days have sucked. I'm so bloated, I need to poop (these little rabbit like turds are so annoying), & I'm popping out a bit too. I'm calling the Dr. Tomorrow for a recomendation on a quick relief.
pear / 1799 posts
@Sugar.Biscuit: I've always had a really sensitive stomach, then suddenly it's made of steel ... but in a bad way! I feel like I haven't had a normal poop for months now. Hooray, pregnancy!!!
persimmon / 1331 posts
@Sugar.Biscuit: @Vegmama: Colace ladies, I'm telling you. I know exactly what you mean about the constipation and a Colace every night has totally made me poop regular again
persimmon / 1331 posts
I worked a 12 hour shift today and felt a lot of tugging and stretching like feelings in my lower abdomen. I feel like things are stretching as baby is growing! I can't wait to feel baby move
I also feel like my abs get sore easily. Anyone else feel like that or am I just a weakling??
cherry / 168 posts
@Emsmems: Not necessarily my abs, but I feel like I just get sore overall a lot easier and super tired quick. But for the past week or so I've been feeling a ton of pressure in my lower abdominal area and some ligament pains so baby is definitely growing and for the first time yesterday I actually felt a real bump about the size of a baseball in my lower stomach.
clementine / 957 posts
@Emsmems: Hahaha I totally thought the same thing with my bathing suit! I was curious to see if my hips were getting any wider, so I tried on my suits (which didn't go as badly as I thought it would!)
Also- my abs do get sore pretty easily. I feel like if I sneeze or cough too hard, I feel a twinge and I'm like AH! What is that?!
@Sugar.Biscuit: Try eating some more fruit if you can! It's helping my rabbit poo's. I totally suffer from the same issues but even before I was pregnant!
Do any of you ladies notice your bump seems a little smaller when you first wake up then starts to get poochier as the day goes on?? I noticed it this morning. I FREAKED out because I felt like my stomach looked so flat compared to all weekend.. but now it's sticking out like normal.
kiwi / 568 posts
@Wahine08- I thought the same this weekend. I wake up and my stomach is relatively flat. As the day progresses my belly will pop out. My DH thinks I'm trying to exaggerate my belly, when I ask but I'm not.
clementine / 957 posts
@Honeydew: Haha sometimes I think I AM the one trying to exaggerate it, but I realize that sucking in does no help anyway.. so I must just be used to always trying to suck in!
I'm excited for an actual bump, especially after announcing offically this weekend!
nectarine / 2063 posts
@Honeydew: my DH always thought I was making it up & the bump I felt was my abs. Until we found its twins & the bump kep growing lol. Wasn't just in my head lol
