@Jessiemuller88: So much! Soon they'll be measuring them from belly/head measurements, no more CTR lengths! :o

@jaguar: Yep. Man, isnt it great that our bodies can be SO GOOD at what they do?

@jaguar: mine really isn’t next level, which kind of worries me at times. It’s definitely there, but no more than I had in the beginning 🤷‍♀️

Just had my 13 week appointment (I’ll be 13 tomorrow) and the babies looked perfect! They were wiggling around so much. I’m so relieved.

I'm having a really crampy week this week. Trying not to stress but it's just playing on my mind. Worse because my OB is off on leave for another 2 weeks, too. Just twiddling my thumbs and trying to wish July away!

@jaguar: ugh... I'm sure you are just growing. I would try lots and lots of water, and as much rest as is feasible.

Still feeling a bit miserable. I think part of it is that things are crazy this week and I haven't gotten as much sleep as I need (which is a lot). DS's daycare was closed last week, then he was out sick Mon/Tues, so I'm so behind on everything. Dying for the second trimester energy boost and nausea relief, but not going to hold my breath.

In more exciting news, MIL bought us an upbaby vista stroller. Should arrive next week and I'm planning to use it as a single right away, then a double when the baby comes. I'm such a nerd for baby gear, super excited as we've mostly been using a super cheap and flimsy umbrella stroller that I'm sick of! Not planning to buy much for baby girl, as we mostly have what we need from DS, but a double stroller was my big must have with two under two.

@graceandjoy: What did get much better at 12 weeks was knowing that everything was genetically normal, so at least all of this is statistically likely to end in a baby And movements started around 13 weeks, not every day but at least a few times a week, so at least there's some upside!

I don't even want to think about how long I'm going to be exhausted for

@helloperidot: oh man! glad everyone's ok tho! and yes to the being exhausted forever my 2 have been taking turns being sick and the house is a complete disaster b/c I just don't care anymore. Pretty sure I have a load of laundry sitting there for the past 5 days...

@helloperidot: I think that's the best attitude, just accept it as the life we chose! But lol, I'm tired

@Sams Mom: I cannot get my husband to have a serious conversation about this until baby is here. He delights too much in suggesting the ridiculous and watching my reaction We'll probably finally decide when the social security lady comes around in the hospital and says she needs the form.

@periwinklebee: you have until, like, 60 or 90 days post birth! No pressure!

@Sam's Mom: This girl was our easiest to name...basically I wrote her name on the whiteboard on our fridge the day we found out we were having a girl, and DH looked at it and said "Oh, yeah, that's her name."

It's Audrey Paige, by the way.

@jaguar: So far nothing is jumping out at me as potentially right, and I have no excuse since this is our first girl

@Jessiemuller88: LOVE! Perfect name. How bout your little man? Our kitty is Evie (Lady Evelyn in full, haha, we are weirdos) so I'm totally kicking myself for using all the good names on our fur babies!

@jaguar: @Sams Mom: we have no idea for the boy! I think that’s awesome you both used good names on your fur babies!! We wanted to name our dog Lily, years ago, but saved it for a child. Then some of our closest friends named their daughter Lily. Lesson learned- don’t save the good names!

How is everyone feeling?

@pachamama: you are sooo sweet! Thank you so much for all the compliments! You made my day I’ve followed you a bit myself! Don’t you have a new little one and a toddler? How has your oldest adjusted to the change?

@pachamama: I honestly expect no less than a shit show myself. I always get the blues in the winter anyways. I’m sorry you had such a rough time, and I’m happy to hear most days are better. That’s great your oldest is warming up! I’ve heard second babies are sooo much more chill. I’m glad it’s the case for you!
