Also lol-ing on the chill second babies thing... my second girl is my WILD child. Goodness knows what #3 will be like!

@jaguar: my first is semi feral although very sweet overall. I really hope I get a super chill one this time.

@jaguar: hahaha I guess they can’t all be chill!

@Sams Mom: I’m dying at semi feral 🀣

How are you guys doing this week? I'm feeling a bit antsy and wishing my appt was sooner. I don't see my OB til next Wednesday!

@jaguar: I know how you feel! My next isn’t until August 14th... I am feeling ok except, I have to pee all night long, ugh. How are you feeling?

@jaguar: I am struggling with a 3rd girl name too! And my second is also Claire!

We have Anna and Claire. I'm so weird, but I have a ton of "rules" for names that I'm trying to follow for siblings. I don't want them to start with the same letter or sound too similar. I like fairly traditional names, not too unusual. I don't want more than 2 syllables (our last name is 3 syllables, and I think it would be too long, and 3 syllables in first and last names sounds kind of "sing-songy" to me). I'm really making it harder on myself... Front-runner right now is Lucy, but I don't know if I LOVE it. Also considering Ruby and Nora. But Ruby might be a little too trendy/untraditional for me, and Nora ending in A kind of sounds too similar to Anna.

@jaguar: My 2nd one is also the very spirited one haha. I too am curious to see what 3rd will be like!

@kayla0416: I am weird about name rules too! I have two girls and they are both K names so while I'd really like to stick with K for 3rd, I also am running out of options for both boy/girl. Can't wait to find out gender so I can at least focus my energy more!

Anyone experience intermittent pain in one side?

  9. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

@Sams Mom: pain where? Like your ovary area? I had pain in my right side (near ovary) the first few weeks and swore I was having another ectopic, but all was good.

  10. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@Jessiemuller88: it's at the far right side of my c section incision. But thankfully Yellowbeach and kaohinani have talked me down from ectopic to scar tissue pain.

  11. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

@Sams Mom: yessss! My OB has said the same thing. I had a c-section too, and she said it was the scar tissue stretching.

@Jessiemuller88: good, because I was a little panicky this morning πŸ™ˆ

@Sams Mom: I was the same way before my first ultrasound.

  14. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

@kayla0416: I love your names! Funnily enough, one of our top third contenders is Anneliese - Annalise - the way to spell it (and her having to spell it forever) is what's got us not sold!

  15. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

@Jessiemuller88: LOADS of peeing here. And stabby lightning cervix crotch pain, which I had last time and makes me a bit nervous!

  16. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

@graceandjoy: Maybe #3 will be a nice mix of calm AND Crazy!

  17. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

@Sams Mom: That odd one sided pain last week is actually what got me an extra scan, so you're not alone! I was pretty nervous. They ruled ligaments for me, baby seemed ok.

  18. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

@jaguar: oh no! Those sound awful! I hope they go away soon! I’m having crazy round ligament pain. Like coughing or laughing hurts πŸ™„

I'm starving when I'm not eating, but feel sick as soon as I take a bite. 😭

I am feeling fat all over. The 100 degree days and humidity doesn't help. I had swollen feet yesterday! It's too soon for that, ha ha. I started exercising more, hoping to keep off excess weight gain. I will want to focus more on how much sugar I am eating... First semester was tough, I ate whatever I could handle, which was mostly bread, cheese and bakery items from Starbucks. My next appointment isn't until August 1!

@Sams Mom: @graceandjoy: Pregnancy kills every bit of enjoyment from food and makes it miserable instead. I've pretty much resigned myself at this point to just finding food miserable for the entire pregnancy

Anyone else feel like pregnancy also kills your energy to stay active? I'm pretty sure I would feel better if I could fit in some cardio, but there's just no way for me to squeeze it in on weekdays without cutting into my limited time with DS or sleep (which I need sooo, sooo much of during pregnancy!) We moved at the end of May and since then I've been swamped with work, getting settled, planning a major reno, and updating/selling our old place. I hope that I can at least start being more active on weekends as things around the move and renovations hopefully start to calm down....

@periwinklebee: Girl I barely have energy to just go through the daily motions, let alone be extra active!

  24. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@graceandjoy: hah hah, I'm not talking about extra active, just some modicum of activity. πŸ˜‚

  25. kayla0416

@jaguar: haha, another one of my "rules" is that there can only be one way to spell it (or there is one way that is overwhelmingly most common). That's another thing holding me back from Nora - it could be spelled Norah. Anneliese/Annalise is beautiful though! So elegant sounding.

  26. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

@periwinklebee: my energy level is literally zero. I feel so pathetic and weak. It sounds like you have a lot going on, in top of being pregnant, and have every reason to be exhausted.

I have no excuse. I’m a teacher, so off during the summer. I nap every day with DS and still have no energy.

@Jessiemuller88: I think being pregnant with twins is about as good as excuses get! And taking care of a LO all day is hard work!

  28. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

@kayla0416: Yep, I think that's what is holding me back. I think I prefer the Anneliese spelling but I just don't know. The top three names we have are all "A" names, so I think we have a pattern emerging of favourites!!

15 weeks today. YAY! I just want to get to 20.... that sounds like a good number. Feeling squishy and bloated and LARGE.

  30. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

@jaguar: yay for 15 weeks! That’s a solid number! I will feel relieved when I hit 25 I think. I’m so worried about pre-term labor with twins. I carried my son full term, so hoping these two can stick around until at least 35/36 weeks.

Well, I fell asleep at 7pm last night after I put my 2yo to bed!! Ha ha. It was glorious. I still couldn't get up with my early alarm to get some of the morning to myself. Giving myself grace to just enjoy the sleep and not worry too much about my productivity these days.

  32. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

@honey786: that sounds SO glorious! Enjoy the sleep while you can!

@Jessiemuller88: If it makes you feel any better, my SIL went to 41 weeks with her twins. It can happen! πŸ˜‚

I'm 14 weeks tomorrow and hoping beyond hope that I start to feel better soon. Last night's nausea was awful.

On the bright side, I've felt little tiny baby kicks already, which is so exciting!!! Hoping that means I don't have an anterior placenta and can finally avoid back labor. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  34. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@helloperidot: I had an anterior placenta last time but not this time. I am almost 17 weeks and feeling so many little kicks, as compared to nada last time. No idea if it will matter for labor, but I am loving it!

  35. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

@helloperidot: oh wow!!! 41 weeks is incredible. I’m honestly hoping for somewhere around 38 🀣 oh and little baby kicks are the absolute best. I’ve been feeling mine quite a bit too, and it makes me sooo happy and excited! I hope you start feeling better soon!

  36. jaguar

So jelly! Mine is anterior AGAIN and I feel nothing but gas.

I WAS trying to hustle my kid out the door to go to the gym and be semi productive... But then I tried to put on my crossback-hooks-in-the-back-reign-in-the-giant-boobs sports bra and couldn't get it on right...

So I said eff it, grabbed a cherry Coke, and went downstairs to watch Jane the Virgin. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

@Sams Mom: this got me 🀣 I think I would have given up too. I’m having issues taking my now too tight sports bras off.

@Jessiemuller88: @periwinklebee: sad thing is, I'm only just now coming up on 7 weeks. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

My new stroller showed up today so I can FINALLY start walking again. My pregnancy induced GERD is in full swing and I'm already hacking up a lung. Should have started the prilosec as soon as I got the positive.
