Congrats to everyone on their pregnancies! I am DEFINITELY not pregnant πŸ˜†

@Sams Mom: @Jessiemuller88: You rang? I have a 5yo boy and 11mo id twin girls. What twin questions do you have? Twins are awesome btw! You will do great 😎

@Jessiemuller88: today was a good non pukey day, and some of the bitchiness is ebbing. I'm still kind of crampy though.

I'm already getting super impatient waiting for my appointments July 26.

@ElbieKay: πŸ˜‚ hopefully my son is wrong and Jessie is the only twin momma here. I'll let her ask all the questions really,I just came looking after she started feeling them at 11 weeks and realized she might come across things that are totally different than her previous singleton pregnancy 😬

    @Sams Mom: πŸ‘

@Jessiemuller88: I caught up on the thread, and it looks like you have di di twins so they are most likely fraternal. And if they turn out to be identical then you are lucky to have the lowest risk type of identical twin pregnancy! Mine were mono di but I had a smooth pregnancy and a successful induction at 37w.

CONGRATS from to all the new mums-to-be!
    Also NOT pregnant

@Jessiemuller88: hey there, here's one of the other twin moms I noticed first flutters with the twins as early as 8 weeks. It then went away again and came back for me (I had two anterior placentas - so di di twins). Do feel free to reach out anytime you have twin (pregnancy) questions!

I am not due till 2/15 so I'm only 7 weeks but DANG today I woke up and my belly is sticking out looking like I'm 17 weeks I guess the 3rd time around does that you?!

Trying to figure out how to hide this bump for another 5 weeks is going to be difficult!

@ElbieKay: @Pumuckl: hey ladies! Thank you both so much for reaching out! Mine are fraternal- boy/girl, so definitely low risk as far as twins go! I know I will have a ton of questions along the way, so I appreciate being able to ask you two! I’m so grateful but scared of life with two babes and a toddler.

@Pumuckl: I’m glad to hear it is possible to feel them so early, because I honestly thought I felt them around 10 weeks too!

@graceandjoy: I'm already in second tri - this morning nada, can't notice anything in a snug tank, other times I look like I'm 7 months. It's nuts how much it can vary, and doesn't seem to be related to how much I've eaten or anything that I can pinpoint.

    clementine / 973 posts

@periwinklebee: I’m so glad you posted this!! Yesterday I looked 6 months, and this morning my bump is nearly flat!!! I was kind of freaking out, but I guess it’s normal.

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@Jessiemuller88: I remember this happening last time too, and people were like "don't worry, pretty soon you'll feel big all the time"

  11. Jessiemuller88

@Sams Mom: I’m glad you had a non pukey day. I still have days where I cramp a ton, I think it’s just all the stretching. Waiting between appointments is agonizing. Hopefully time passes quickly for you. My next is July 11th, so I’m feeling impatient too. My mom’s friend is giving me her Doppler today, so hopefully I can find the heartbeats and get some peace of mind.

@periwinklebee: haha they are so right! I read that your AB muscles tighten overnight while you are resting, so they hold the bump in tighter. Over the day, they get tired and loosen, making your bump look bigger.

I literally look 6 months pregnant today and trying really hard to suck it in while walking around the office...

  14. periwinklebee

@Jessiemuller88: completely consistent with my giant bump in the evening (and the fact that I never got around to doing anything to strengthen my core after DS, oops)

Awesome about the doppler! Mine is a sanity saver, I think it's pretty easy to find by 11 weeks. I've heard that with twins it won't detect two separate heartbeats, just a jumble, though not for sure - just a vague recollection of something I think I saw posted here at some point...

@graceandjoy: scarf + sweater can be a lifesaver for this! Though annoyingly warm in summer....

@periwinklebee: I'm wearing a maxi dress and jean jacket. I did not realize my bump is growing by the minute lol! I mean, not like I had a 6 pack before this so hopefully no one notices

  17. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@graceandjoy: πŸ˜‚ I love "growing by the minute"! I'm sure it's a thousand times more noticeable to you than to anyone else!

    Ugh.

So my midwife team just called me to tell me my NIPT results are not in yet.

Gee, thanks? I was hoping I'd get them before the holiday but lord knows if that's going to happen at this point. I'm annoyed. And my anxiety is ramping up, like the baby is high risk for something and that's why it's taking so long.

@periwinklebee: Gaaaaah stressful.. come on results!!!

I just got my 13 week email update (because yep, even though third time around, I still get a buzz reading about baby development!!!) - and it makes specific mention about round ligament pain in this timeframe because of the first rapid uterus expansion. So thought of you guys!

  21. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

    @helloperidot: ugh, hurry up!

@jaguar: Lately, my app has been informing me that a common symptom I'm likely to experience is increased sex drive, along with a burst of second trimester energy πŸ˜‚

  22. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

@periwinklebee: hahahahaha literally lol-ing right now

  23. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@jaguar: I remember last time it kept saying stuff like that, and I seriously wondered whether this is actually so common or they are just trolling us πŸ˜†

  24. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@periwinklebee: and here I keep giving my husband a hard time that he's got 15 weeks of sex left if I end up on pelvic rest again πŸ˜‚... But I'm further behind you, so maybe that's why I'm missing the increased sex drive

  25. graceandjoy

    pear / 1565 posts

@helloperidot: Ugh why do they call you just to say it's NOT in!

@jaguar: Haha this is my 3rd too and I still read everything on the app! I totally forgot half the stuff that happens!

@Sams Mom: Oh man. I already told DH I want nothing to do with anything during 1st trimester. I barely have energy to live, let alone get down to business lol!

  26. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@graceandjoy: I tried last night, and it was probably some of the worst sex ever πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ.

I am not initiating until I stop feeling like garbage.

  27. graceandjoy

    pear / 1565 posts

@Sams Mom: Haha bravo for trying! I'm not even awake past 9pm most nights, and even if I am, I am usually just vegging and eating something

  28. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

@helloperidot: whhhyy? I’d rather not get a phone call at all until they are in. What a tease! Try not to worry. Mine took 10 days to come in. I’m sure everything is fine.

@jaguar: @periwinklebee: @graceandjoy: right there with you ladies! The app is full of crap 🀣

@Sams Mom: we dtd a few weeks ago, and I cramped so badly afterwards I scared DH off!

  29. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@graceandjoy: @Sams Mom: @Jessiemuller88: @jaguar: With DS when I got close to my due date, and then went a week + past it, my app kept on saying that DTD was a perfectly safe and enjoyable way to jump start labor. The "enjoyable" part seriously made me think that the app content is written by a guy πŸ˜‚

  30. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@periwinklebee: yeaaaaaaa that a load of crap! I was massive and didn't want to do anything that wasn't necessary to continue living, let alone have sex in the last couple weeks

  31. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

    DEFINITELY written by men, hahaha.

I've been binge watching One Born Every Minute. I just want to fast forward six months and meet my little squish.. I am addicted to this show.

13 weeks today! Bump or bloat... hahaha

  33. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

@jaguar: you look great! I’d say bump for sure! Yay for 13 weeks!!

  34. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

I’ll be 12 weeks Friday, and I’m not sure if mine is bump or bloat either.

  35. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@jaguar: @Jessiemuller88: aww! Look at those little baby/babies bumps!

  36. graceandjoy

    pear / 1565 posts

Ok I'm terrified... I'm 7.5 weeks and my bump is bigger than your 12/13 week bumps

  37. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

@Jessiemuller88: Definitely bump! Yours is even getting pointy, hehe. Mine is mainly just ROUND.

  38. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

@graceandjoy: Haha, well I am bigger and mostly just look like I ate too many burgers, so no comparing there!

@Sams Mom: How are you feeling mama?

  39. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@jaguar: not puking as much, so that's a plus 😬

Otherwise just waiting forever and a day for my first appointment in 22.5 days.

NIPT results are here!!! Baby is a happy, healthy...girl!!!

I'm such a giant hormonal mess and I cried and cried and told my hubby I wanted another girl and then apologized he hasn't had any boys yet and he laughed at me and kissed my nose. He's a very happy daddy of soon to be THREE girls.

(Would have cried happily over a boy, too. Most of the hormonal mess is the release of knowing that baby is healthy, thank God thank God thank God.)

Eeeeee! Order ALL THE PINK THINGS. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
