    @jaguar: I know you are! It’s so hard going weeks without seeing them! My next appointment is the glucose test 😩

    @Jessiemuller88: YUCK! I need to do fasting bloods in the coming weeks, but I have been eating like a pig, so I'm a bit sure I'll fail spectacularly.

    @jaguar: aw man! I have to schedule that glucose test too. Blegh.

    @honey786: it’s the worst! Every time I open my fridge, that nasty drink is staring at me 😩

    Anyone else get tired of answering questions about their pregnancy? I know people mean well, but lately at work, it’s all anyone talks to me about. I have to change the topic all the time. I already feel like crap, and I’m kind of tired of talking about how I feel, lol.

    @Jessiemuller88: thankfully not at that point yet (constant talk or glucose challenge), but I know it's coming. I did get my first unsolicited belly touch EVER, and now want to buy this shirt.

    @Sams Mom: omg, did you say anything? Where did it happen? Work? I love the shirt 😂

    @Jessiemuller88: it was at work, one of the medical coders came around to collect surgical tickets. I just stared at her like she had two heads according to my desk mate. I never once had it happen with Sam... I was at a loss

    @jaguar: SO cute!

    Man, I am really failing #3. I have done NO bump pics and I'm going to be 20 weeks in a few days (and also sad that I had to open my app to see how many weeks I am).

    I really want to document my pregnancy better too since this better be my last one... Ahh, so hard!

    @Jessiemuller88: Squeezing into my regular dresses as long as I can - but the belly is making them really short!!

    @graceandjoy: Definitely take a halfway mark pic!

    Does anyone have any maternity jeans that love? The ones I have from my last pregnancy are from Target and are sooo not flattering. I want to feel good in them! I am probably looking for something that fits more like a legging but office appropriate for jeans days.

    Also, trying to work from home more because I hate getting dressed for work. I think this means I need more maternity clothes for the office. We have a consignment maternity store in town I want to go to. Why does it feel so wasteful to me to spend money on these clothes? I know I will wear them for a little after pregnancy too...

    @honey786: I've gotten almost all of my maternity clothes at a local consignment store. I actually get most of my normal clothes there too. I'm super thrifty when it comes to clothes. I LOVE a pair of maternity jeans that I got there that are Ann Taylor Loft brand. They're some of the best fitting jeans I've ever had, maternity or not. They are snug enough to be flattering but still have some growing room, with just the right amount of stretch to be super comfortable.

    @honey786: I gave away my maternity clothes from the last 2 pregnancies, so I've been trying to buy the minimum. Loving these -

    I've been impressed by Walmart's maternity clothing offerings!

    @honey786: No help here on jeans, as we're headed into summer down under. Good luck!

    @kayla0416: Yes! Second hand might be the best option.

    @Sams Mom: Oh no!!! Feel better lovely x

    @Sams Mom: I hope you're better! I have no recollection of whether a flu shot made me feel bad or not; and I def had them with both pregnancies since I had all winter babies.

    Hey ladies! I was wondering if any of you noticed your bump growth slow down around this time. I’m 24 weeks 3 days and for a while I could noticably see growth. I don’t feel like I have seen much change in the past 3 weeks which is kind of stressing me out. I do feel tons of movement though. Have any of you experienced a bump slow down?

  24. kayla0416

    apricot / 275 posts

    @Jessiemuller88: Yes! I had a ton of people tell me I "popped" right at 20 weeks, and I don't think I've really changed at all since then. I'm 23+5. It's stressing me out a little too.

  25. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

    @kayla0416: same here! I’m glad to know it’s not just me! Hopefully it’s just so gradual we can’t tell week to week!

    So the flu shot made me feel like crap for a few hours, but then all was well.

    @Jessiemuller88: Sam told my sister she has a baby in her tummy... Turns out she's 8 days late, made her test at my house... Sam is now 2 for 2 😂

    @Sams Mom: what?! That’s crazy!! I can’t believe he is 2/2 😮 that’s neat you and your sis will have babies so close in age. Was she shocked or excited?

    @Jessiemuller88: I'm just waiting for him to say our other sister is pregnant and hit the trifecta. She's shocked and excited?

    So baby is doing fine in there (26 weeks, huzzah!) but my bloods show my iron levels have taaaaanked, so I am getting an infusion next week. Has anyone here had one before?

  34. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

    @jaguar: I have not, but a close friend gets them regularly due to GI issues. I believe she had at least one during her pregnancy too.

    Only complaint I've heard about them it's they're time consuming.

  35. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

    @jaguar: I haven’t either, sorry. That’s good they caught it though. Were you feeling more tired?

    Tried to respond earlier and for some reason hellobee kept inserted random commas after every couple of characters (my computer was otherwise working fine). Ugh.... but seems to be working now...

    @Jessiemuller88: You look amazing!

    @jaguar: So sorry to hear but I think you'll feel much better after your iron levels are up. I haven't had a problem with anemia in pregnancy but have in the past and it always makes me sooo tired....

    I can't believe we are already coming down the home stretch... Granted I feel like I have a long time left to deal with pregnancy discomfort but SO LITTLE TIME to finish stuff that needs to be done before the baby is here. It's a bit doubtful whether our renovations will be done by then (ugh) but hopefully close... And let's not even think about work stuff that should be wrapped up but likely won't be... I don't think it's really fully sunken in yet that we will have another kid soon. My biggest concern is that DS is pretty clingy and has a MAJOR mama preference at present, so we'll see how he adjusts, but I have a feeling it will be a bit rough for him at first.... In particular he's still obsessed with breastfeeding, and I really don't know how he's going to react to a newborn taking his spot on the boob around the clock. I keep just hoping that he'll be a bit less obsessed with it in a couple of months, but that's probably wishful thinking!

    I know I'm like 2 months behind the curve, BUT I find out what baby is tomorrow at 1:00!!!

    @Sams Mom: Woohoo!

    I just had my 20 week scan (Feb due date here). I am finding that I always seem to have some things that make me high risk every pregnancy, not bad enough to be truly worried, but also not nothing so I always needed extra monitoring. Apparently it's something with the cord this time, so I have to schedule a fetal endo gram or something, and then have another follow up growth ultrasound. Otherwise, baby boy is doing well at 14 ounces, moving tons and was very cooperative during his scan, unlike his sisters!

    Meanwhile I'm still fighting with insurance/hospital about getting billed for my 1st 12 week ultrasound

  40. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

    @graceandjoy: my last pregnancy, all we found at the 20 week was a partial placenta previa, which was reviewed at 31 weeks and found to be resolved. BUT at the 31 week ultrasound I was found to have polyhydraminos putting me 5 weeks ahead by measurement, so I had weekly ultrasounds and BPPs the rest of my pregnancy. 🤦‍♀️ They found some other issues along the way, but all was like you nothing major, but not nothing either.
