If it's a girl, it will def be Olivia or Sydney (Olivia is play on a family surname, and Sidney was my grandad's name)

For a boy, we suck at thinking of names!!! We feel pretty so so toward most names, the top 3 that we agree on are Max, Finley, and Grayson

I can't believe I haven't done the Chinese Gender Prediction Calendar--it says I'm having a girl. Woo hoo! We all think this one is going to be a girl.

I think boy due to DH's family are all predominantly boys! Both of us really don't care. My mom is so convinced we are having a girl she bought me little pink baby socks for Christmas! She and DH have a bet of one yen (one cent) as to the gender High rollers they are

Names:
Boy: William (after DH's late father)
Girl: Emi (short for Emiko, Japanese girl's name meaning blessings of beauty - or something like that).

Our 20 wk scan is set for Feb 18 (I think!).

We don't have a date for finding out the gender yet, but it should be around February 14-27th. The u/s tech guessed girl at our last scan, and every old wives tale for predicting agrees except the Chinese one. Both of us want to know so badly I can't imagine being team green. Terrible will power over here.
For names, we are basically set on both. For a girl, it would be Eliza Delaney, and for a boy it would be Jonathan Isaac.
Neither of us really have a huge preference, we mostly just want to know!

I am so anxious to find the gender. I'm only 12 weeks so still TWO MONTHS away from the 20 week scan! Ugh!

We are Team Green! I've always wanted it to be a surprise and DH always wanted to find out (he decided YEARS before I was pregnant). Not sure what happened, but something changed for him in the last few weeks and he is now happy to wait until the delivery room. Chinese predictor says boy-I think heartbeat (at 10w1d) says girl? So who knows...

As for names, I am on Nameberry everyday and my lists are OOC. So my faves change all the time, but right now front runners include: Dahlia, Libby (Elizabeth), Aimee, and Aubrey for girls, and Nathan, Samuel, and Benjamin for boys.

@kml636: totally agree, I'm getting anxious to find out gender! We will probably get elective u/s before 20 weeks

We don't have our anatomy scan scheduled yet, but it should be around the last week of February or first week of March. It cannot get here quickly enough -- I'm dying to know!! I've wanted a little girl for as long as I can remember, but wouldn't be at all disappointed if it's a boy.

Basically, I'll be surprised if it's a girl! We aren't going to decide on one name ahead of time, but just try to narrow it down to a few. Right now, we like Jude and August for a boy (and I LOVE Rudy, but DH hates it) and Georgia, Antonia, and Jude (again) for a girl. Baby will probably arrive and we'll choose something completely different though! We have a tendency to change our minds at the last second

@lauraeabel: That's how we felt when we picked our girl baby name. Complete assurance that this is IT. And even if we don't have a girl first I know we'll have her eventually.

I do have an idea for the gender reveal but it's kind of hard to explain. I want to have my cousins wear blue t-shirts if they are a boy, pink if they're a girl. They'd line up in a row in front of the other guests and then someone pull names out of a hat and ask them to sit down one by one as their name was called until the last person standing is wearing the traditional color of that sex. And then someone can bring out balloons and we'll be all, yep, it's a ______! Just wanted to think of something a little suspenseful and unique, we'll see if it ends up happening!
