It's a girl!!! She was moving around so much today, and totally wouldn't cooperate with what positions the ultrasound tech wanted her to be in. Already stubborn!!

We're not finding out the sex, but I'll share our names.

Girl: Penelope Jean ("Penny")
Boy: Simon Thomas

The first names aren't meaningful, they're just names that we like. As far as Jean, it's my late grandmother's first name and my husband's grandmother's middle name. Thomas is my husband's father's name.

As far as predictions, we haven't done any of the tests. For the first few months, I had a gut feeling that it was a girl, but now, for some reason, I'm pretty sure it's a boy. My husband doesn't have any feeling about what it is, but my mother is convinced that it's a girl and has been calling it "she" ever since I got pregnant.

I can't believe that we're all going to meet our little beans in just two months or so!

@night cheese: those are both awesome choices! Can't wait to see what you have! I love Penny for a nickname too.

I realized I never came back and updated after we found out we were having a boy. oops.
So we didn't have the gender reveal party like I wanted, but we did fun surprises for my family, bff, and sent cards to extended family.

As for names, these are our top four (my hubby is Scottish so we're going with a theme here, and it really helped to narrow down the list of names out there).

Scott (top choice, and I sometimes call him Scottie to myself)
Logan (both like it)
Brody (I like it more than DH)
Gavin (he likes it more than I do)

No matter what we pick, little boy is getting my maiden name as his middle name.
